"Hey, are you sure we're ready? The machines can handle the energy?" Asked an old man with a grizzly beard and white hair.
"Don't worry about it, nothing will go wrong. And it's not the first time we're doing this experiment" answered a man that was on the back of the laboratory. His expression was hidden in the shade of the ambient they were in, only often a lapse of his silhouette was seen by the flashing of the machinery on the room. He was 180 cm tall, and was wearing a white hood.
"But this time it's different! We're using that thing as the fountain of energy." said the old man with concern on his voice.
'tisk' "let's begin NOW! And if something goes wrong, you know I can get us out of here in an instant, so, don't worry, BEGIN!" said the hooded man, and only a dark grin was seen behind the hood.....
On the top old an tree, surrounded by leaves and twigs, was an young boy apparently of eleven years. He had brown curly hair, white skin, and blue eyes that was almost glowing from the intensity of the color. He had suave yet sharp expressions, showing that he was passing through an age transition.
He was sited there looking at the orange color of the sky during the sunset. If someone looked closely, he almost seemed to be pondering about life, which was an strange thing for a child of his age to be doing.
"Hey Erdan, get down, dinner is ready!" shouted a manly voice from a house located about 30 meters from the tree.
"Okay dad" the boy lazily stretched his body, and like an ape, hopped down from the tree jumping between the branches as if it was his most natural territory.
"Boy, watch out! Don’t get down so quickly" said the man that was in front of the house, looking directly at the boy. He was tall, 190 cm, had a sturdy body and looked like the boy in some aspects. The curly brown hair was the same, and the skin was tan from the sun. His face was oval, and he had a sharp jawline.
"Don’t worry dad, I got this." Erdan said to his father. His father name was Joshua Aloro. He was a soldier, and generally was travelling around the world with his troops. He was a captain of the private armies of Ordalia and was rarely home, the one that took care of him most of the time was his aunt Janessa, his father's sister.
Looking around the garden of the house, that only has that lonely tree, Erdan runned on the direction of the house.

Entering the it, Erdan sited by the table and began to eat the food that his dad prepared. " WOW, this pasta is amazing dad, what the hell did you put in here?"
"Hey, watch your mouth boy. It's like this because of a seasoning that I got on the border, near the country of Dune." answered his dad proudly.
"Got aunt some of these, so that she can put some on my daily food." Said Erdan with a cheek grin.
"We'll see later"
After dinner timer, his dad went to watch some tv and relax. Something that was impossible to do on the borders during his duty. Ordalia and Dune, were warring each other by about thirteen years now. This war took a lot from both countries. And the thing is, it's a mystery why the war begin. The government of both countries announced to their population, that it was a dispute because of an attack in Necron city, where, in the time before the war, there were troops from both contries stationed, and according to Ordalia, Dune's soldiers attacked them.
Well, Erdan certainly doesn't know the truth, but it didn't matter to him. He hated this damn war, and everything it brought. According to his dad, his mother was a Dune soldier with which he had an relationship before the war, and during the first strike that gave the reason for the beginning of the war, she died trying to stop the fight. In addition, because of all of this, he didn't even had the opportunity to meet the relatives on his mother's side. Which by the way, was named Sarah(his mother's name).
The only thing that gave him peace and something to vent, was his martial arts, his master taught him how to fight, and meditate to have interior peace. Not that he cared about the meditation part, he was more interested in the fight part itself. But even so, the experience of handling a weapon and waving it like crazy gave him the piece of mind he needed.
After that weekend, his dad went back to the frontier.
Holding his forearm above his eyes to protect them from the sun, Erdan was being shaken by someone on his bed.
"Hey sleep princes, wake-up. Go wash yourself or you'll be late to school." It was his aunt Janessa that was calling him.
Removing his forearm from his eyes and letting them get used to the sun rays that were entering he room through the open window, he looked at his aunt. She was a truly mesmerizing woman, curly brown hair descending trough her back like a crazy waterfall, wearing a green dress that was accentuating her tan skin, and with sparkling dark eyes looking his way.

"Go wash, the breakfast is on the table." said Janessa after turning and walking out of his room.
After taking a shower and brushing his teeth, Erdan went to the table and had his breakfast with his aunt.
"Hey little man, how are you doing?" Asked Janessa after perceiving the sad look in his eyes.
"It's nothing worth talking.... And you already know what it is by the way." Said Erdan averting eyes from her.
"You know that your dad loves you, right? He just has his own problems to deal with, and sometimes, he doesn't know how to be with you...... And before you talk some shit, you are not one of his problems little guy!" Said Janessa with warn eyes.
"I know it. I am already used to all of this after all. well, let's not talk about this anymore. I'm going to school, bye bye" Said Erdan getting out of the table and catching his blue schoolbag.
He was wearing black shoes, blue shorts and a white t-shirt with the symbol of a lion on the left side, right above the heart.
Leaving the house and getting on his bicycle, he drove through the courtyard and opened the door to the streets. "It's gonna be a tough day hahaha" (Erdan)
After leaving his house and driving out of the suburbs of Piatt Phion city, he went to his school, arriving near the building he could already see the sakura trees surrounding it. "Another day at this school..."
After parking his bicycle and walking into the building, he went directly to his classroom in the hopes of the teacher not having arrived yet.
Right after opening the door of his class. "Mister Aloro, arriving late again. Not a surprise I suppose." Said his teacher. She was an middle aged skinny woman, named Valeria, who in the beginning of the year, just ignored his existence, but lately, he was feeling that she was paying more attention to him, especially after he had quarreled with her son. And believe me, the result was not handsome, for her son obviously.
"during lunch time, remember to go to the director office, we are gonna have a talk with you" (Valeria)
Valeria begin the day lecture...
'trimtrimtrimmmmmmmm' rung the bell, indicating that it was lunch time.
After rearing the heavenly sound, Erdan got up and begin walking to the door, with the intention of getting away, from the 'witch'.
Just when he was passing through the door, he felt something grabbing his shoulder, and a feminine voice saying "No getting away today boy" when he looked back he saw a grin on his teacher face. To him, that was the smile of the reaper....
In the director office, Erdan was standing, while Valeria was seated in a chair beside him, and across the wooden table, was the director Gregory, looking directly in his eyes, and Erdan felt like his soul was laid bare before him.
"Another day Erdan, what's happening with you?" Said Gregory.
"Director, it's not my fault, I thought that I would arrive in time today..." (Erdan)
"Well well, this is already the seventh time this month, after today's class you'll stay for detention."
"No director, please, I gotta this truly important thing with my master today, and I really can't miss it..." Erdan was truly pleading the director, doing his utmost to get out. Because he truly had an appointment with his master.
"Ohh, don't worry about it. I'll call your aunt and tell her to get in touch with him." Gregory reached his hand in the direction of the telephone, and just when the director was about to touch it.....
'BOOOOOOOMMMMM..'
The earth began to tremble, and then, everything suddenly went dark. Erdan looked out the window, and saw a rupture appearing in the skies, as if the space was being torn apart by giant hands.
Erdan felt something changing in his body in that moment, something invading him. Suddenly he began to tremble and an unimaginable pain was corroding him. He felt like he was thrown in hot oil and was being cooked alive. But the worst thing was that the pain was beginning to get worse.....
After struggling on the ground for who knows how many time. his mind jolted awake and the pain was gone. He stayed there, sprawled on the ground, and after some time he opened his eyes to see what was around him.
To his right, Valeria was unconscious sited on the chair, her blond hair messed around.
He struggled with himself and tried to get up, only to see Valeria opening her eyes and looking at him. Slowly getting up he shaked his head to stop the dizziness. By the time that the dizziness was gone, Valeria also got up and was trying to look through the window to see what happened.
"Erdan, are you alright?" asked Valéria with a hoarse voice.
"Yes, I'm good" After getting up, Erdan went around the table to try to look what was happening outside (window).
Just when he was about to get behind the table, he saw a green tail moving on the ground.....
