《The Revenge of the Devil of Conquest Vol.1》Chapter 13 Half Human

Later that night.
Saber had put on a blue pajama suit which he'd taken with him when he and Ai stopped by his drom and was about to go to bed in the guest room. His bed was significantly smaller than Ai's, but it was much, in his own opinion, more comfortable. He threw back the covers of the bed, revealing a soft, white mattress. The dark users, very unceremoniously, threw his body onto the bed before rolling himself up in a blanket and putting his mouth and nose underneath the covers.
For a moment all was silent as Saber relaxed underneath the weight of the covers. It was silent, though Ai was still up he it was silent. He didn't want to be rude, but in all honesty he'd imagined Ai to be a more noisy person to live with, but he guessed he'd been proven wrong.
Suddenly he heard the door of his room open and a light crawled up his room, on the bed frame, and then into him, forcing him to open his eyes. Ai was silhouetted by light currently, but he noticed that she'd carried a small rectangular object with her, he couldn't tell what.
“A-i?”he asked groggily as she moved towards him with light feet.
“Sorry, Shi... I realize you're trying to sleep, but I wanted to try to do something...” She whispered/hissed as she crawled into the bed, a tiny flashlight also in hand.
“And what might that be?” He asked turning over to face her slightly.
“I've always wanted to read someone to sleep.” she said, opening the book and turning on her tiny light, being careful not to hit her roommates eyes. “Unless, of course, you mind.”
Shi smiled warmly, whether the author knew it or not, she did(as he's stated so many times) have a certain ability to relax him. “No I don't mind...” he whispered back. “Just...” He blushed a little. “Can you... uhh, play with my hair?”

A silence fell between them, and Shi thought he'd created and awkward setting. He was just about to apologize when he felt a soft hand on his head, the sound of pages fluttering and the click of a light.
“Chapter 1...” Ai hissed lowly as she danced her fingers through Saber's hair.
Saber was in a strange place... The only way it could be accurately described is by saying that it 'was neither here nor there', because that's all it was. The ground underneath Saber was white and reflective, not so reflective as a mirror, but rather it looked as if some silhouetted figure was walking in sequence with him. The sky was calming, yet alarming; it was blue, but had many clouds, it was bright, but said clouds cast somewhat of a dark shadow underneath themselves. The surrounding air was still, but held a feeling of weight upon itself...
“Saberrrr!!!” a voice called out, echoing slightly before disappearing once more. Saber froze, he knew that voice, it sent chills up his spine and made him freeze. He knew that voice, but he couldn't quite place it. He knew he should've been able to, but he couldn't. “Saber!”, I called once more, this time louder, and closer, but still far enough away to be small.
Saber turned to look at the creator of such noise, they were female, he could confirm that much. She wore my school uniform with a Red undershirt, her hair was long and flowing slightly because of a sudden small breeze passing through the area, her eyes were closed gently, Slowly, she opened her eye's revealing a pitch black, with a blue center, giving Saber a look of pure hunger filled lust. “How has it been, Shi?”
Mariane sat in the back of their history class, boredom overtaking hi as she tapped the eraser of her pin onto her cheek, her headphones blasting music only audible to her, despite them laying on her neck. Normally in any other class, despite she laid back personality she'd be furiously taking notes, not here though. For Marianne history was simple, she hardly needed to glance at her notes to pass any exam or whatnot that may be thrown towards her. To be honest it was a matter of common sense more often than not, besides on written answers. And even then it was still no problem.

Sighing, Mariane dug into her pocket and produced a phone, luckily for her, their professor(Saber has the same class also) knew of Mariane's talent for the subject and let her get away with goofing off... most times. Mariane, using only the hand she pulled the phone out of, pulled up her recent texts page, scrolled and found Saber's name. Sighing, he pressed it and a series of recent messages appeared.
'Really missing you in history...'
'I can stop by and give you some notes if you want to.'
'You're gonna die alone.'
Mariane had begun to think she'd been a little too harsh on Saber with that last message, but it seemed as if Saber had been avoiding her, and that pissed her off to no end. If there was one thing the dirty silver hated, it was being ignored. True, Saber had been in a horrible accident, but if the Academy had let him go he was fine enough to pick up his phone... or maybe it was something else...

Between Worlds
(This is a reupload of Sexy Space Babes, as it's easier for me to reupload the series in a new format rather than go back and re-insert the old chapters that were taken down while the first book was on Kindle Unlimited.) Jason had thought about punching a Shil’vati. Who hadn’t? Not only had the aliens conquered Earth with almost trivial ease, the seven-foot purple amazons also had the audacity to start running the planet better than Humanity ever had. He'd never do it though. He was a reasonable guy, just trying to get by under his new feminine overlords. Wasn't he?

Asturian Warbringer - A LitRPG on Earth
Currently releasing 5 chapters a week Luke Kells liked only one thing about himself: his green eyes. He hated getting bullied, hated being poor, hated being an orphan, hated his weakness, hated the government, hated his life. If someone had given him a button to push and kill everyone but him and his granddad, he would've done it without a second thought. Then, one day, after fainting during a beating, he woke up with memories that would change his life. Magic, martial arts, how to craft special artifacts; he knew it all. Anyone would’ve taken that path to glory at once. However, he had to deal with a lot on his plate first. To even begin walking that path, Luke first had to deal with his own psychological issues. Almost two years of brutal bullying that was akin to torture and no support from the school staff of the police had left him with a broken soul. Before even realizing he could be rich or powerful, he had to bring himself out of the mental hellhole he found himself in. Oh, and his memories also told him the Sentinel Tower would change reality in six months to protect the planet from the Demonic Horde. But that wasn’t as important as not making the local bully angry, right? A story about personal growth, overcoming obstacles, and reaching absolute glory at the end of the path. This is a slow-paced, character-centered story. If you want something faster paced, filled with almost immediate and nonstopping action, check out my other novel: Modern Awakening - A cultivation, LitRPG, apocalyptic novel.
