《Recovery》03/03/20 A Night's Conversation

We sat on our respected beds around the dorm. I wrapped the blankets around me, like a half-plucked potato. Our host today made himself comfortable as well, sitting crossed legged dangling from the side of his bed.
"Sure Honesty's asleep?"
"I checked. Slept like a baby." We laughed.
"Alright buddies, we're gonna go straight to the point then." Our host said, "Surely y'all heard about what happened yesterday."
"Matthew Hasakoi." I rubbed my nose.
"Yup, that's him! He ran 3 blocks down the dorms before waking Honesty up. Then Honesty made a run as Hasakoi's reaching toward the B-4 gates."
"I saw him passed by me, running like a marathon professional." My neighbor said.
"Some days ago he was urging others to tag along too. I'm surprised he even managed to got out of his room."
"Does Honesty know about this?"
"No. He doesn't screw around minding other people's businesses."
"Anyway, even if he knew he wouldn't have stopped Matt. Total morons, the both of them."
"Exactly."
"So he was running toward B-3. Needed the activation card from the elites from that point on."
"Who let him pass then?"
"He tricked Ren for a juice box."
"He did that to the little boy?"
"Better than listening to Rakia's endless ramble." I said.
My neighbor edged closer to me and grabbed one of the pillows from the far edge of my bed. Mere seconds later it's hidden underneath his blankets.
"Then this thing happened. Bad luck for Matt. I can't believe Honesty called the Admiral for this crap." Our host waved his hands from his blankets. "Gunned him down, 3 seconds." He made a gesture mimicking the gunshots.
"Ha!" We laughed.
"Honesty was there, his face looked like shit."

My neighbor laughed so hard he rolled back on the bed. I slid my pillow back.
"So where's Matt now anyway?"
"Admiral and some elites took him to who-knows-where. But I don't think they're gonna kill him. Then they'll have a problem with the Hasakois."
"I thought he got disowned." I said.
"Still it brings a bad name."
We sat silent for a while. I wrapped the blanket tighter.
"You know, we all have code names after plants, I always wondered why." My friend yawned.
"It'd be a shame if you use Latin for animals. Reminds me of those demihumans down Minurs."
"Did the Admiral had one as well?"
"I thought it was Sidrun? The lemon fruit."
"I wonder who's weed then." I said, my neighbor chuckles.
"Let's move on." Our host said, "I heard there'll be a coup."
There came a loud crash outside. We closed all the lights and slid back into sleeping position.
"Looks like Honesty's out."
"We'll talk about this the night tomorrow." Our host turned to me and smiles, "And then you'll do the explanation, you know this more than me."
