“Dad, are you coming back now?” Leon asked.
“We’ll save you Big Bro Ken’s spaghetti and hotdogs.” Lena offered.
“I can’t Lena, Leon. You know I’m still in New York.”
“Mom?” Leon looked at the other side of the computer screen.
“Honeys, Mom is also out of the country. But don’t worry, I have my gifts for you.” She tried to smile and cheer the little twins.
“Dad, Mom,”
“Yes, baby Lena?” Benjie asked lovingly.
“Are you coming back together?”

“…”
“You know I love you honeys, but your dad and I,” their mother paused.
“Remember this little Lena, little Leon, even though we aren’t together but your mom loves you so much that she carried you for many many months in her belly, held you up every time she’s with you, as you cry and laugh, and she has always thought of you at all times especially as such as this. As your dad, I love you the same.” Their dad preached them with feelings.
“Benjie…” their mom called their dad as if longing to say something more.
“And you know that I had loved you too.” He completed.
“…Thank you.” Was all she can answer.
They asked for each other’s news and at the end of the talk, the kids seemed to have a new light in their eyes. They seemed to have matured a bit due to tonight’s drama. But I know I’m still the most matured here.
“That was sweet, Brother Ken.” Sister Chen praised me coyly. Oh boy, I know that body language!
In the end, nothing’s happened. I wanna cursed right now.

It’s already the 2nd of January and we’re on the super-uber-crowded airport.
Once again, I have Lena and Leon on both my sides. They kept on stretching their necks, looking up at the people exiting the gates.

“Hey guys! How’s your Christmas? How’s my baby Lena? How about out already big bro Leon here?” he immediately hugged the two of them and asked-away. What a head-block. Should he not give us a good bunch of souvenirs first? After all, he just came from New York.
“Ken,” He called to me and we bumped fist. I was surprised when he actually caught my hand and pulled me closer.

“Honestly, you took care of my children and even went here to fetch me. You’re actually a good wife-material. Want me to remarry you?”

In a fight with them, he falls into the eyes of the detachment of the sacred order, after which they, having estimated its potential, take it to themselves and, with their patronage, he enters the academy. Thanks to this, our hero receives a certain amount of attention from the opposite sex.
