In a bustling town, a guy just wants to go home after buying his favourite doughnuts. He is a high school boy, has a brushed back blonde hair and sleepy blue eyes.

“Damn it is so noisy. I just want to go home and eat and then sleep” is what is going through his head.

“A thief! A thief stole my bag!” A scream from a voice of a young girl echoed in the streets. Everyone was alarmed except the young man.

“A thief? Like I even care.” Is what he was thinking. He just kept on walking with his reunion with his bed in mind.

A random suspicious looking man who was running accidentally bumped him from the back which caused him to let go of the package of doughnuts. The package fell to the ground and was kicked by some other passerby. The package was totally ruined and so did his patience.

He was frozen in place for a while due to the shock. To think that he just spent a significant amount of energy as well as his allowance just to get some destroyed doughnuts. His heart was crushed and his eyes are lit with flames of anger.

He ran like a beast to chase the man. He was so fast that he was able to grab hold of the guy after a few minutes. He grabbed the guy’s shirt and lifted him off the ground with only one hand.

“What should I do with him? Should I stomp on his face until he looks like the doughnuts he just destroyed? Or should I punch his stomach until it caved in and he himself looked like a doughnut?” These thoughts went on his mind.

“I’m sorry! I’m sorry! You can have this bag back!” The man threw the bag he was holding to the ground but the boy remained immovable.

The thoughts “This is just a waste of energy. Beating him won’t bring me back my doughnuts.” occurred to him. He let go of the man who readily ran away. After the man was out of sight, a girl got closer to him and picked the bag.

“Thank you very much! I really appreciate it! Although I do not have cash in this, my little family will starve if I lost this.” The girl bowed in gratitude. She was a cute girl with pink hair and golden eyes.

The boy just nodded and went back to get the crushed package of doughnuts. He picked it up and threw it in a nearby trash can with bitterness in his heart. Due to the sadness, he did not realize that the girl from earlier was following him.

“Are those doughnuts? That looks quite bad. How about I treat you to some as thanks?” The girl said it easily although her face felt quite hot and her heart was racing like crazy.

The boy who was very happy to hear the girl’s offer nodded in response. The girl was cute but he did not care, what is important to him is his lost energy earlier is no longer in vain.

“By the way, I’m Sera, a second year high school student. How about you?” The girl asked while looking embarrassed.

“Ethan, second year.” He responded not because he wants to be closer to the girl Sera but because he thinks that it will be rude for him not to respond to her which might cause her offer to treat him to doughnuts to be withdrawn.

That is how the first date of Sera and Ethan occurred although they were not aware that it was a one. Although it was a date, since one refuses to spend energy talking and one was too shy, they have not spoken a word to each other until it was time to part.
