The gun man sigh’s
“are you two okay?”
Aria who was frozen in his place fell down to his knees and started crying, I managed to get myself together and stood up
“yeah thanks for helping us…”
He opens up the chamber of his revolver, he flicks it causing it spin around quickly then he put’s it back in
“6 more bullets…Help? You’re welcome but I think your friend there needs help”
I rush over to Aria
“Aria! Aria can you hear me!”
Aria looked at me with tears uncontrollably dripping from his eyes, he didn’t nod nor speak a word
“Take em to your room that should help him recover, the environment around it will contribute some years into his brain so he can process those events just now but the Death Festa started so I’d recommend you get yourself a weapon at the very least”
I carried Aria gently and placed him on my back, supporting his weight using my two hands holding up his legs, after all of what just happened I’m exhausted and I wonder if I can continue walking even
I opened the door to our room with one hand barely managing to keep him from falling, I placed him on the bed wrapping a blanket around his whole body
“I’m sorry Aria….i couldn’t protect you…”
Aria was shivering like crazy but he managed to muster in a few words
“I….want to go home….”
“I do too buddy”
I caress his hair steadily feeling whatever warm that was left in this cold desolate place
Aria is weak no he beyond weak, he is easily manipulated and easily hurt, his emotions tale a toll on him and sometimes cloud his judgment to the point of panicking, he isn’t the type to fight nor is he the type to bear the pain of any of this

I trusted Aria I expected too much of him didn’t i? I’ve always done that to him
I always used the excuse of “I’m doing this for his own good” or “So he can grow as a person” in truth I pushed him so that he doesn’t end up like me but I pushed him too hard I threw him off the edge now look at what this had resulted
Aria I’m so sorry that you had to see all that at such a young age… I’m sorry
*knock knock*
I quickly moved into a fighting stance
“Don’t be alarmed kid it’s me, I’m just here to tell you to get some rest, tomorrow will be the official beginning of the Death Festa, Two down five more to go in our case it’s four more since your problem seems like he can’t even move anymore”
I kept fearing about this Death Festa ever since Marco confronted me about it, seems like it is so kind of survival game
Game huh? So we are nothing but today and entertainment aren’t we?
“Since you two didn’t get the chance to get enough information about this place then I would highly advise you to check whatever shortage compartment you have in their, inside you’ll find a weapon for the both of you and a misally little flyer that contains all the rules and regul bullshit so read it cause you will need it tomorrow”
From the door I heard footsteps growing smaller and smaller
I hurried over to the cabinet in the room and found three items
A big spiked shield (Aria)
A dull sharp-less sword (Yutou)
And the flyer

Beast
A threat to the galaxy has come from another, and the Union of intelligent life will go to any length to stop it. Military Quarantine has held for hundreds of thousands of cycles. Traders, merchants, colonists, and Pirates live risky lives along the fringes as the politics from the inner systems fail to see the larger threats beyond their borders. A lone human finds himself far from home with no memories to how he arrived. A failing Trade vessel plays on a desperate gamble, while a malicious parasite searches for a suitable host. ............................................. Author's note: Beast is a story that I wrote a long, long time ago. Some of you might have read it then, back when it was posted on reddit over at r/HFY. It was my first webfiction and made in the spirit of that subreddit's "genre" of humanity being awesome. But, it is also a story that has bothered me a little bit. Just like most new writers tend to do, I made mistakes and errors that feel painful to reread. A Space Opera will be a Space Opera, but I had prose that makes present-me cringe. Still, at the same time, the story is still very much a tale I've never given up on. It was my first adventure into fiction: Beast was a crazy adventure with bodysnatching aliens, galactic war, threats from across the universe... Posting this story here is a way to try and redeem myself a bit. I won't call it a complete rewrite, because it's not, but I have wanted to go through and correct some of the major issues Beast has for a long time and put it somewhere more accessible to read (instead of as posts/comments on reddit) and I figure that now is as good a time as any. Additional corrections you might notice are welcome.

Chains of Dominion
If Jake wins the local Fantasy Tactics Online tournament, he’ll have everything he’s ever dreamed of — a ticket out of town and the attention of a beautiful woman. However, this woman has more planned for him than a bus ride to the local metropolis. She teleports him back to her Realm and declares him her Master… and says it’s up to him to save the world. No pressure. Rival Dominions vie for power, and they are all far larger and more organized than Jake’s rag-tag group of women, but he has two advantages: the rules of this world are eerily similar to those of Fantasy Tactics Online, and his wildest dirtiest sexual fantasies act as a power multiplier for his all-female army. Warning: The heroes have intense tactical battles, wild kinky sex, and near-constant flirtation. The villains are disturbing and cruel. If the idea of villains doing bad things bothers you, please do not read books ever, but especially don’t read this one.

The Fall
Perhaps the most well known of all devils, demons, or fallen angels is the one known as Lucifer, Satan, the Father of Lies. The cultural influence of this figure throughout history is by no means small. Despite that, it wasn’t until the time of Milton’s classic – Paradise Lost – that we saw an attempt to portray a dramatized version of the events leading to this figure’s fall from grace and power. And while this is the case, Paradise Lost is not about Lucifer – though it goes into great detail about his potential musings. No, Paradise Lost was, and still is, about the fall of mankind. So, in light of this, and the feeling that the classical story deserved another telling, I present to you all The Fall – a story focused particularly on Lucifer’s fall from grace and his musings both before and after.
