I woke up this morning so excited to see him again, with his gorgeous green eyes, brown fluffed up hair and his face was so cute I couldn't wait.

I knew I just met him but... He asked me on a date?

I had to tell mom and ask her about tonight.

Mom was staying home from work because of her pregnantcy, in the kitchen she was making breakfeast for me and my sister Britt. She was a year younger than me so that made her a junior and I a seinior.

"Honey is there some for me too?" dad walked behind mom and hugged her "If you want some then you should write a book about it" we all laughed "I'm writing one now about-" mom cut him off "Don't tell the girls its a suprise!"

"Oh yeah thats right" he put his coat on and grabbed his computer case "Well i'm off to the company" Britt and I ran up to him for a hug "BYE!" He kissed our fore heads "By my booklets" He ran to mom, gave her a kiss then ran out the door "Britt would you close the door sweetie" Britt ran and shut the door "Mom? I have a question" she raised her head in fear "OH MY GOD YOU'RE PREGNANT!" My face was smacked with shock "WHAT?! NO! THAT'S NOT EVEN A QUESTION!" she sighed "Okay good, what is it" I felt weird because the last time we talked about a boy was when she gave him and I the sex chart and how you get pregnant "Theres a boy at school named Jack" She looked up "Uh huh?" I smiled "And I know I just met him but he asked me out... Tonight" I was waiting for it to come out NNNNNNNN "Ask your dad" uhhhh thats what parents say when they don't want the blame.

"But he's at work and i'm going to see him again at school, he has to know today" I pleaded "Please!" she smiled ... "Fine" I jumped around the room then hugged her "OH THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!" I was so excited "But, it has to be here" My excitment train went off the tracks, got sued and sent to the electric chair "Why?" she laughed "Because your dad will be here and we can get to know him better" I gasped "Dad's going to bore him with his book talk."

All the boys i've ever had over, had to listen to the book talk and get quized by him... They never passed "Sorry then you don't go out at all" I bit my lip, gritted my teeth then finaly I built up the courage to say "Okay mom."

After I ate I got dressed did my hair and make up and walked to school. It was quite cold out today so it was harder walking to school than usual. I'm used to California heat and sunshine, this was a load of crap. To make my day better I am going to tell him yes to his offer on the date tonight.

I walked to the front of the school, all of the kids were outside waiting for the bell.

My eyes skimmed the area then... He was standing right there with some of his friends. He saw me walking towards the group "Okay guys i'll see you around" he walked towards me with a smile on his face "Why hello Mrs. Wavers..I MEAN Mary Beth" He laughed "Hello" I smiled "May I have your coat" I laughed "I find it a bit chilly out here don't you?" He smiled at the sky "Indeed, I have a question?" I nodded "Yes what is it?" I broke character "Would you like to go on a date with me tonight?" I smiled and then frowned "Is something wrong?" He asked "No its just... My parents do this thing where before we go out together you have to do a 'Family Dinner' with my parents" I gritted my teeth waiting for his answer "Okay" He said so plain and calm "Wait really?" I asked him, because thats a very awkward position to be in "Of course ma'lady, I am very excited" I laughed "Well just be prepaired for my father, He does this talk you have to pass about his books" He raised his eyebrows "I love D.W's books"

The school bells rang and we walked in together. Class was usual and the same as yesterday except, the Cafeteria... Jack was sitting at this table with some people he was making laugh. He saw me and waved... Oh my god! Should I ignore him? No no don't be silly he likes you.. Or is it a trick! Stop it and walk over.

I walked towards him and smiled "Hey guys this is Mary, she's new here to our school" A boy with blonde hair and bright blue eyes held his hand out "Nice to meet you i'm Brandon" I shook his hand "Hi" he grinned "You are gorgeous" an angry blonde haired cheerleader gave him an angry girlfriend look "Hi i'm Lesiley and i'm Brandon's only girlfriend" She said aggresivley. "Ha Ha Ha they're so funny" Jack scratched the back of his head embaressed "I'm Shelia" a big dark skinned girl spoke "He is right though you are gorgeous" she looked me up and down.

"So where are you from Mary?" Lesiley asked, she had a rough bitch face to her "I'm originaly from California" Brandon clapped while laughing "Man I love it there" Shelia agreed "Who are your parents?" Jack looked at me and I knew he told them but I forgave those beautiful green eyes "Mrs. and Mr. Wavers" They all dropped they're jaws "Girl You a rich bitch" Lesiley didn't look friendly towards me. She looked like she was carving my eyes out like a pumpkin in her mind. The school bell rang "Come on Mary we got class."

After school I walked home and Jack walked with me "Are you nervous?" I asked "Not as nervous as you" I laughed "It's just no guy stays after the dinner" He grabbed my hand "Don't worry i'll stay" I smiled staring into those gorgeous green eyes. His hands were cold "Come on lets hurry before you freeze." So we continued walking side by side with his arm wrapped around my shoulder.

We finally got to my front porch, he followed to the door I paused "You ready?" he turned towards me "Your cute when your nervous" I laughed.

I opened the door, "You can hang your jacket here" I pointed at the hook. Mom walked into the living room "Hello, you must be Jack" Oh shit this is going to suck "Hello Mrs. Wavers" he shook her hand "Hope your hungry i'm making dinner" he smiled "Can't wait" mom laughed "unfortunatley dinner isn't read yet..." she looked back at the stove "Mary why don't you give Jack the tour of the house" Jack looked at me "Uh.. Yeah, yeah let's umm... go" he followed me "This is the living room.." I flopped my arms in the air like a tierd baby, he laughed "You sound so... interested" I smiled "Okay follow me" He followed me to my room, I stopped "Okay i'm kind of nervous..." I was felt so shy "Don't worry, my room is kind of a mess" I laughed "Okay."

I opened the door and whatched his reaction "Wow" in my bedroom I have bright white walls, my twin sized bed with a white and blue bedspread, a white lamp, a blue wood desk and a blue chair, on the desk there is my computer.

It was a very nice room, it's definitley a rich teenager's room "Your room is... really nice" he looked amaized "I know it's embarrassing but..." He walked in and sat on my bed "No it's nice.. really" I walked in and closed the door "Are you allowed to close the door when you have company?" I felt awkward "Uhh...Umm do you want me to c..close it?" I went to open the door franticly "Oh no its...good closed" I started giggling "Oh.. Okay good, you scared me" he smiled at the floor then looked up at me biting his lip "So do you want to.. sit?" My heart flutterd. I sat down next to him awkwardly on my bed, shoulder to shoulder..."This is awkward isn't it" He nodded "Yeah" we laughed together "Well, if you make it through tonight's dinner we can go out out" I smiled. As I turned to look at him our faces were closer... almost kissing close, I swallowed "Yeah I will" He started to lean in closer to me. He stopped half way, our lips just grazing one another "Can I ask you something?" I blinked "Yes" I told "Can I kiss you without your parents killing me?" I laughed "Just don't get caught" I gave him a flirtatious challenging look.

Then he leaned in and pulled me in roughly. His lips were like roses and Carmel, I opened my eyes to look at him, his eyes were shut closed. He was so into the kiss it turned into a make out session. I fell back onto my bed gripping his arms under my waist, his pressure on my lips made it hard to breathe, but in a good way. We let go of each other to catch our breathes "That was.." I didn't know how to finish "Amazing?" He said laughing shyly "Yeah" we laughed together.

"DINNER'S READY!" mom called, He followed me to the hallway. My dad was standing dead in the middle "Hi" he reached for Jack's hand "Nice to meet you, I'm Mary's dad" oh no! he's gonna do it. I gave my dad the 'Don't you fucking dare' look "You can call me dad if you want!" He started laughing uncontrollably. I looked a Jack, his back stiffened awkwardly "Just kidding, call me Dalton" Jack laughed and played it off well "Hi i'm Jack" they shook hands "OH NICE GRIP!" I felt like I just got shot in the face. Jack laughed "I want to tell you that love your books Mr. Dalton" my dad smiled, he loves compliments "Why thank you" dad looked at the kitchen arch "Well lets go eat" everbody was seated.

Jack and I sat next to each other, dad got the end by him and mom got the end by me. My sister was at her friends. "So Jack, do you have a job?" Jack nodded "Yes I do, I have a special job" my dad raised his eyebrows "What do you mean?" Jack looked choked "Um... I don't get paid, but I help students with heir problems" my mom and dad looked at each other confused "Like, learning how to counsel" dad asked "Exactly" dad smiled "And what about your parents?" mom asked "Um.. They are... out of town now, but they'll be back soon" dad looked at mom "Well, okay let's eat."

We ate, laughed and talked all night till is was time for Jack to go "Haha, that book was my favorite growing up" Jack told "Really? That was my favorite one to write" dad was loving Jack "'And with the power of Christ'" Jack joined in with him '"I compel you back to your home!'" they laughed together.

After we finished eating, Jack helped mom clean up dinner "Oh, let me" Jack and dad cleaned up the dishes while me and mom talked at the table "He's really cute" I smiled "Yeah" she grabbed my hands "After him and your dad are done cleaning, he leaves right?" I laughed "Yes mom, don't worry he's not staying the night" She looked up "Thats right!" she snapped "O-kay I'll walk him out" I walked in the kitchen "And that one chapter when you find out all along it was Claire" They were getting along so well "Eh Hmm" I interrupted "Oh yeah, well it was great meeting you Jack" dad gave him a man hug "You too sir" he continue "You too Mrs. Wavers thank you for dinner it was lovely" mom blushed "Why thank you Jack."

I walked him to the porch and closed the door behind me "That went pretty good" he leaned in "Of course it did" I smiled "So now I guess we can go out out right?" I nodded cheerfully "Yes" I gave him hug goodbye "See you at school tomorrow" he leaned in closer grabbing my waist "Yes, see you tomorrow" we froze... I leaned in this time and kissed him. My smile making him kiss my teeth "Goodnight butler" I pushed him away playfuly "Goodnight" he started walking home as I closed the door.
