Today I am... Happy.

That's a bit out of it. Posting this chapter means that my more morbid chapter on Happiness wouldn't be posted.

But today, I am Happy.

It's the small things. I learn to be Happy with the small things.

I redo my thinking.

Future Happiness requires effort.

But the pursuit of Happiness will bring suffering.

It is all-consuming, to pursue Happiness.

For the majority of us, we who cannot put in that effort or risk getting consumed,

just enjoy the small things.

I'm helpless. I'm powerless. I want to do this! I want to do that!

But I don't have to fish until my arms are sore and then buy ships and more equipment to fish some more to be 'Happy'. I can do that by leaning back in my chair right now, looking at the sunset.

I need to differentiate between 'Happy Now' and 'Future Happy'. And the pursuit of either are both extremely consuming.

Happiness... I can define it as a drug.

The moment we stop being Happy, we chase after being Happiness again.

Just...

don't lose yourself in pursuit of Happiness.

Keep your dream in your heart, your Path, and walk along that Path. But you have to diffrentiate-

Your Path heads for Meaning and Future Happiness.

And it's rather easy to be Happy now.

Both consumes you. You have to take things step by step, don't go too far chasing 'Present Happy' to lose sight of 'Future Happy', as well as the other way around.

It's a juggle, it's a steady effort to keep things balanced.

It is Life.

Right now, I am Happy.

My Meaning of Happiness is knowing that I can be Happy.
