Jax got into a fighting stance and I did the same. He went to hit me with his right hand and I blocked him. I went to kick him in his side but he grabbed my ankle and twisted it until I fell on the ground.

He said, "I thought you knew how to fight."

"I used to. I only took that class with Mia when I was younger for about a month but we got somewhat good at it before we quit," I responded.

Jack said, "Well there's your problem. You guys quit. I didn't. Well until about two years ago."

I stood up and said, "Ok, so your a better fighter then me. Why are we doing this anyway we're probably never going to use it."

"I know. I just wanted to see how long you would stay up," Jax replied.

Hatter said, "You didn't last that long Sapphire."

I said, "I know."

There's a knock on the door and Jax said, "I'll get it." He left to get the door. A few seconds later he came back followed by Faye.

She said, "I heard that you got shot with an arrow Sapphire "

"Yeah, but it's ok. It'll heal," I responded. A few seconds passed on silence and Cheshire appeared next to the Hatter.

Faye said, "So Diamond turned on you guys."

Jax said, "Yeah. She wants to help her mother by hurting us."

I said, "Or killing us."

"Yes, that to." Jax replied.

Cheshire looked at me and said, "I can fix your arm. I can't fix it all the way but I can heal it a little bit."

I said, "Ok." I tried to take the wrap off that Jax put on but I couldn't get it off.

Jax said, "Let me try." He pulled on it and about five minutes later he got it off. Cheshire touched it and it healed a little bit.

Hatter said, "Let's go into the living room " We went into the living room and I looked out the window.

I said, "Diamond's out there standing on the sidewalk."

Jax said, "Let's go." Me, Hatter, Jax, Cheshire, and Faye went outside.

I said, "What are you doing here?"

Diamond said, "Not much. Seeing what you guys are up to."

Jax asked, "Why, does your mother want to know?"

"Yes, she does. That doesn't matter tho. It's not like you guys are doing anything interesting," Diamond replied. She went past us and went up to the front door.

Hatter said, "You can't go in there. Besides it's almost tea time."

Jax said, "It's time for you to leave." Diamond glared at us and then left. After we we're gone we went back inside and into the kitchen. Hatter handed up some cups with tea in them.

I asked, " So what are the twins up to?"

Hatter said, "Oh, they left this motmorn something about not wanting to be here in case Faye's sister showed up or something like that. I think there going to explore what's beyond Wonderland."

I asked, "What's beyond it?"

Hatter said, "I don't think there's much. A couple houses. Maybe some forests and things like that."

Cheshire said, "Ok, well it's getting kind of late I'm going to go."

Faye said, "I'm going to go to." We said ok then they left.

Jax said, "Let's wrap your cut up again."

I said "Ok." He grabbed a wrapped and a few seconds later my cut was wrapped up.

Hatter said, "Jax, why don't you stay here from now on given Diamond, her mother, and whoever else is looking for you."

Jax said, "Ok. It's just me at my house anyway since my parents aren't alive anymore and my little sister moved to the other world."

Hatter asked, "How long has it been?"

Jax said, "Since they died about three-four years and as for my younger sister moving to the other world about a year, year and a half somewhere around there."

Hatter said, "Sorry, I shouldn't have asked."

"Its ok. It was a long time ago. I'm over it," Jax replied.

Hatter said, "Ok we we should go to bed. Jax, you can sleep in the room upstairs acrossed from Sapphires room."

Jax said, "Ok." He went upstairs and I followed behind him. We got to our bedroom doors and he said, "I'll see you tomorrow Sapphire."

I said, "Ok." I went into my room and he went into his. I got ready for bed and eventually fell asleep.

The next morning I woke up, got dressed and went downstairs to find Hatter at the kitchen table. He said, "Jax's isn't awake yet. Will you go wake him up?"

I said, "Yeah sure." I went back upstairs and knocked on his door. There wasn't a response so I opened the door and walked in. He was laying down in his bed still asleep so I grabbed a couple of pillows and threw then at him.

He said, "Really."

I said, "Yep." He sat up and grabbed one if the pillows I threw at him and he threw it back at me. It hit my arm and fell to the ground.

He said, "Hatter's probably waiting for us."

I said, "Yeah he is. He sent me up here to wake you up."

Jax said, "Ok, let me get chai and then I'll come downstairs."

I said, "Ok." I went downstairs and told the Hatter that he would be down in a minute.

Hatter said, "Ok, and then we can try and figure out what to do about this Diamond and Red Queen thing." A few minutes later Jax walked downstairs and sat down at the kitchen table with me and Hatter.
