Philuffy felt she was overflowing with power, she never thought she have this kind of power.

With this, she feel she can do anything if only her other soul didn’t get in her way. In the end, Philuffy only watch on the sidelines.

Their swords clash. Shin used his Insulator for a second strike but she flexibly dodged it by jumping over him. she used the weight of his Scrapblade by lifting her Aramasa up to make her stumble from Scrapblade's weight as she jumped and stood behind him with a few distance away while holding the sword at her back.

Shin’s stats continue increasing, her level may be infinity but he seems to be level infinity himself as he can stand toe to toe with her.

Philuffy's Aramasa was lighter than she thought, under that form. It was used to be heavy but now it was light as a feather.

“GRROOOAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!”

Shin’s roared in rage. He seemed to be excited from the fight. To find such a good opponent on par with him. But Philuffy wasn’t looking for a fight. Her left arm tells me that the cartridge from his Breakdriver must be removed forcefully to save him or she can kill him in order for this to stop.

Her decision was obvious. Philuffy will still save him.

Shin dashes and he already appeared behind her. He strikes with his Scrapblade but Philuffy blocked him by raising her Aramasa behind with the support of her back.

Shin reinsert the cartridge thus activating his skill.

BREAKER SKILL! OH NO!

He rapidly strikes me both of his red arm and the Scrapblade while Philuffy used the bluntside of her Aramasa as a shield. She did all her can to stand ground as he reinserts it again.

BREAKER SKILL! OH NO!

His power increased again and made her knocked back with the fist of his red claw.

“Damage received 20%, resume battle. Analyzing counter measure against the Specter.”

This other soul analyzed the damage she receive, it almost like a robot. As it attempts to think a way to stop him, lots of information came from his head. Philuffy's head was hurting so much but the other soul didn’t feel it.

The following methods were effective but a 100% chance it can kill him. With the mission on her mind, the other soul analyzed longer.

Shin clashed with her. He rapidly attacked Philuffy again.

While analyzing, the other soul defends from his onslaught. It made it took longer than it usually does to find a good method in defeating him which leaves us in disadvantage.

“Analyzing… 10%. Further interruption will risk of the host’s life. Other methods are very effective, permission to kill Specter.”

Philuffy wanted to help but she knew that she won't stand a chance against Shin as he said it. Shin reinsert the cartridge again.

BREAKER SKILL! OH NO!

He gotten even faster and stronger than the blink of the eye.

“Damage received continuously rising…. 30%... 31%... 32%.... Once it reaches 50% that will be the end of the host’s life. Continue analyzing while defending the host’s life… Analyzing… 11%”

The clash went on and on and the numbers she heard continuously rising.

With Shin reinsert the cartridge again. He gotten even more faster and stronger.

“48%... 49%... 50%... Analyzing failed, now enter recovery mode.”

Philuffy got hit with his red claw and was knocked down.

“D-damage received… 76%... Unable to continue…”

As Shin walks towards him, he raised his Scrapblade to finish him off.

Philuffy suddenly manage to took control of her body which result a successful block to his finishing strike.

“Phi… won’t go down…”

“GROAAAAAHHH!!!”

He reinserts the cartridge again.

BREAKER SKILL! OH NO!

If that attack hits her again, Philuffy will be a goner this time… Looks like, She fail to save him…

Until she heard another chant.

SPECIAL ROUND! GORILLA!

Shin was suddenly punched by his wounded friend as his strength was strong enough to be thrown away and crashes to the nearby wall.

“…I won’t let… a cute girl like you… do the dirty job… I am Dice Dynamis! Even if I am not in my Status Breaker form… I am STILL Status Breaker!”

Shin instantly recovers from the attack.

“GROAAAHHHHH!!!”

He seems very angry when he dealt a damage from his friend name Dice. Dice looked at her with a confident look on his face.

“I’ll buy time as much as I can… You better stand down and recover as much as you can…”

My other soul suddenly took over my body again.

“Survive 5 minutes to finish analyzing on stopping Specter.”

“5… minutes huh? It looks like forever, If only I am in my Status Breaker form… I can even give you 10 more minutes… But holy crap, I’ll do what I can! Bring it on, Shin!”

SPECIAL ROUND! ARMODILLO!

Gauntlets appeared both of his arms when he inserts a USB skill from his Skilldriver. Almost like it served as a shield and the two clashed fiercely. It was amazing that despite their level differences, he can stand to Shin toe to toe.

“Now starting analyzing possible methods on stopping Specter without killing.”

Philuffy just sat there like a broken doll with the Aramasa on her hand.

Shin used his same skill again but this time he can kick him along with the strike of his red arm and the Scrapblade on a single point. Dice just kept defending from his attacks.

“If this… keeps up! My Armodillo will be destroyed!”

As Shin strikes him with the Scrapblade. He used the opportunity to stop his attack by knocking him back.

“Knock it off!!!”

Meanwhile, Philuffy was still in a middle of analyzing possible method. The progress was in 96%.

Almost there and her other soul will be able to handle him but things but the plan didn’t go as plan when Shin noticed them and just dashes towards her like a phantom.

Dice's eyes widen and act as fast as he can to defend her. With his distance he won't make it.

“Noooo!”

“99%...”

Shin attempt to stab Philuffy with his red claw at her chest but he just stopped by himself.

"What’s going on? Did something happen to his stats?"

Philuffy checked on his stats but nothing change except with the immeasurable numbers are still rising beyond the level barrier.

"No... Not again... Not this moment again!”

That voice, it came from Shin. He was struggling stopping his red claw to prevent her to get killed by his own hand.

“I… I won’t… do it again!”

While he said that, he releases the Scrapblade from his left hand and struggle to control it.

“Not… AGAIN!”

He punched himself to the face and was fell down from the blow then Dice kicked Shin away from Philuffy while he was still down. Thus, ending the analysis without any interruption.

“Analyzed method confirmed, ready to utilize Innovator’s ability.”

Her other soul, raised her left hand and creates two USB skill cartridges causing Dice to get astonished from her ability. That soul began to insert the Aramasa but there were no any USB slots for it to execute. Instead, the Aramasa devoured the USB cartridges and chants to pronounce what cartridge was used.

“Special Gear Skill: Stardust Accelblade, Activate.”

EXTRA SKILL: STARDUST ACCELBLADE.

The Aramasa started producing lots of stardust particles as if it was forming a blade as Philuffy's form her battle position.

“Hey! I thought you’re just going to stop him!?”

Dice angrily spoke as my other soul just calmly looked at him.

“Specter’s red arm, the Insulator can negate any skill it touches and killing him physically is the only option but thanks to your support, I can analyze even further and this is the result.”

“How’s that will save him!?

“The Special Gear Skill: Stardust Accelblade is an extra skill created from my Gear ability, the Innovator. It was either a passive skill and at the same time a normal skill, this certain Gear possess 4 skills. Allow me to demonstrate its full capabilities cause the Specter is about to strike back.”

Shin was already behind her as he was about to strike him with his red claw. As soon she got hit, she turned herself to a stardust and disappeared. Dice was surprised and looked around for her.

“She just disappeared!?”

Suddenly I slam him down with my Stardust particles covered Aramasa’s blunt edge only for him to realize that I was only standing behind him as Shin finally received devastating damage.

“GUWAH!”

“That is my blade’s passive skill, Stardust Mirage. I can make myself disperse in the eyes of the enemy but in reality, I am as fast as the sound. In other words, a simple Illusion skill.”

Shin quickly recovers from the attack then he attacked her with his Scrapblade swinging downward. She pressed the cartridge from the Breakdriver.

BREAKER SKILL! YEAH!

“Stardust Cluster, Activate.”

Stardust particle from together as it stops the Scrapblade. Shin reinsert the cartridge and attacks in a single point. This kind of method was really effective in destroying defensive shields.

However, the shield seems simply stopping his onslaught as if he was hitting nothing.

“It’s useless… you can hit Stardust Cluster as long as you want because it can’t be destroyed with that kind of method. It’s like you’re simply punching a very soft pillow.”

“GRAAAAHHHH!”

Shin reinsert the cartridge, dark energy gathered from his red arm

BREAKER SKILL! OH NO!

He simply destroyed Stardust Cluster with one strike of his red arm.

“I knew you would do that.”

She pressed the button twice of her cartridge as it executes the third skill.

BREAKER SKILL! OH YEAH!

“Stardust Shift, Activate.”

Philuffy simply dash through him as she raised her Aramasa upward like she perform a sword swing then Shin suddenly received rapid attacks all over his body.

“It’s time I finish this with my fourth skill.”

She pressed the button of her cartridge then reinsert it to her Breakdriver.

FINAL BREAKER OVERDRIVE: COSMIC BUSTER.

The stardust particles gathered around Philuffy's Aramasa and forms a sword that reached the heavens.

“Hey! That could kill him!”

Dice tried to stop her. But the other soul just calmly looked at him.

“Trust me... Dicey...”

"Is that...? Impossible..."

Dice became speecheless, Philuffy swings her sword down thus hitting Shin with her finishing move. After that devastating attack. Dice expected a major damage to the city but nothing has changed.

“What the hell…?”

Shin was standing there, not moving. Then her other soul simply removed the Breakdriver away from him as he returned back to normal. Shin fell unto her as he leans to her shoulder.

“Cosmic Raiser… A skill that eradicates everything in its path without causing any destruction due to its nature of being a light. I expect Specter will survive that attack due to his personal extra skill… Phantasmagoria. It can only annihilate Nightmare within the vicinity of my sword...”

“What? An extra skill!?”

Dice was shocked.

“Phantasmagoria, a very rare special skill that can revive him from death and all what happen that got him killed will be turn but mere illusions. However, it can only be used once and only be activated when he was killed by other Breaker’s skills or Gear.”

“What an… incredible skill…”

Dice noticed something odd.

“If that is the case, why is he like he was knocked out?”

Philuffy run her fingers to Shin’s hair as she closed her eyes while her other soul explains with a warm smile.

“The one I face, is a Nightmare within him. If I kill him physically, Phantasmagoria won’t be activated and thus killing him in a process. I owe you for that success on activating it.”

“Incredible… You knew he had that kind of skill all along?”

“On that last battle before his rampage. While this body was paralyzed, I took the liberty to scan him even further and noticed some skills were still locked and once that he went in his berserk state. A skill was unlocked and that is Phantasmagoria.”

The other soul just smiled while looking at Shin.

“I am glad… that I was able to save him in time… It wasn’t his fault that he killed someone…”

"Hey... uh... are you...?”

"...I will always stay beside you... Shinny..."

Dice noticed that Philuffy fell down as well.

“Hey!”

All went black and Philuffy returned back to normal with her and Shin lying on the ground. Philuffy's cartridge disappeared along with the Breakdriver.

Dice scratches his head with a smile.

“Man… do I have to do all the work?”

Dice destroyed Anna’s Nightmare Cartridge lying on the ground by stomping it as it disperse completely.

“Well, mission accomplished. Hm?”

Dice saw Anna who seems wounded from his fight with Berserk Specter.

“I… I… will face my punishment as a price... for saving my... only friend.”

Dice closed his eyes with a smile.

“Then… your punishment will be… stay with this cute girl as your true friend. If you do that, I won’t bother report it to the big boss. I’ll just report that a Nightmare Spider class was the root cause of it and the host just died along with it.”

Anna’s eyes widen then she started to tear up.

“True… friend… You... gave me a second chance?”

“I can see that she truly cares about you. If not, we were not in this state at all so let’s not betray her ever again. Got it?”

“Okay…”

Thus, the kidnapping incident was successfully closed with the help of the mysterious soul within Philuffy.

At the top of the tower crane. There was a man looking down at them with his red and blue eyes with a big wide smile reaching the cheeks. He saw Anna was smiling while carrying the snoring Philuffy while Dice carried the injured Shin like a sack hanging on his right shoulder.

“...The struggle starts now...”

His eyes glows and disappear within the smoke of darkness.
