After school.

Philuffy and Anna went to her workplace. It was named Herbal Café. Is this café was all about herbs with coffee? Anna looked at me with a smile.

“Philuffy, are you sure that you will wait for me in 4 whole hours for me?”

“Hm… maybe Phi can walk around for an hour then will wait for Anna.”

“I see, that’s good. I thought you literally can wait 4 hours straight just for me.”

Well, to be honest, Philuffy can do that, but she wanted to look around for a bit since she never been doing window shopping for once. It’s a good change of pace.

Few minutes later.

Anna and Philuffy went to our separate ways. She look around to see if she can buy something for herself but at the same time. Philuffy was thinking about Shin who will scolding her anytime soon. It will be too scary for her since Philuffy will get to see some really scary side of Shin.

“Phi will be fine, Shin just like pinching Phi’s cheeks like usual for making mistake.”

Philuffy just want to help her friend out, just this once then she will not do it again since Anna will be safe tomorrow due to Shin's Nightmare extermination today. She just hope that Nightmare won’t attack them today.

“…!?”

Philuffy felt someone was watching her and an intense Battle Instinct, is it the Nightmare!? But it was a different feeling and If it was, then she better go back to the café, she thinks she will be safe there with many people around. When Philuffy reached the café, Anna was busy on serving customers without getting worried about the Nightmare. It might be the best to stay that way,

Meanwhile, Shin went back to his home to check out Philuffy, this is the first time Philuffy is going home alone. He secretly went around the house to check if anyone is home. Shin enter the balcony to see any sign of people but from the looks of it. he didn’t see anything. Philuffy usually leave her uniform around his room. Well, because it was the only bedroom he got. They don’t particularly sleep together in one bed, he sleeps at the balcony with a beach chair but the only problem is. SHE always sleeps beside him because of… MAGNET reason.

But the result… She is not home yet.

Shin became angry… yet… he was so worried… Shin kept himself cool or it will lose control. If he fail to find her in time… he might lose to it.

“That bitch… she just…”

Shin jumped out the balcony and stood infront of the house. he looked at the city of District 7 and clenches his fist.

He came running in search of Philuffy as fast as he can.

Philuffy was sitting near at the window while waiting for her shift to end, she watched Anna was working hard as a waitress, but she is more worried about someone was watching her.

At this time, Anna came to the table where she was sitting, she was wearinga wonderful maid-esque waitress uniform. But the café wasn’t a maid café.

“Philuffy, how’re holding up? I’m sorry for waiting this long just for my sake.”

Philuffy gave her a smile, just to show that she is fine.

“Phi is fine! Phi will accompany Anna no matter what because Anna is Phi’s friend.

Anna laughed a bit from what Philuffy said.

“I see, I am glad to have a friend like you. Let me treat you some Sundae iced milkshake. This café has some great milkshake.”

“Where… the hell… are you?”

Shin gotten tired from searching Philuffy and stopped at the nearby alleyway. Shin suddenly felt something corroding within his body.

"Damn it! I felt it… that power! Am I... feeling hate to her?"

Shin's stats was rising slowly as he tried to kept his cool but Philuffy was the reason he got in this state. He tried to discard his glimpse of hatred towards her to prevent from losing control.

“My plan was falling apart because of her!”

“…And that’s exactly why she need to suffer, Shin Kizuna…”

Shin looked up where the voice came from. A man wearing a visor, was standing behind me and suddenly kicked him all the way in the middle of the alleyway, a place to prevent from being seen by other people.

“Ghh!”

Shin reposition himself from that strike, but that power… is he a Status Breaker!? And… he knows his name.

“Who are you!?”

The guy has red hair and wearing a jumpsuit with yellow and blue boots and yellow vest. It was too weird but as they say, don’t judge the books cover and the kick is the proof enough to say he is a threat.

“You may refer to me as your… acquaintance or rather… my best friend.”

“Best friend? Are you out of your mind? I don’t have any friends.”

“You do have, but in this situation… you can stand against me if only you aren’t holding back.”

Shin noticed that the assailant, knew his ability and became even more wary towards him.

“You bastard, I don’t hold back against someone like you.”

The guy laughed and just shook his hands.

“I like to see you do that but are you really not holding back? Shin Kizuna… Bring it on!”

He made his unusual fighting pose His fighting style… He is mocking Shin, He was just standing there with his raised right hand. Shin took out his cartridge from his pocket and pressed his cartridge as it chants.

SCRAPBLADE!

The cartridge expands and form to my Scrapblade then he held it backhanded with his left hand and raise his right hand forward as his fighting pose.

“Take this! You son of a bitch!”

Shin charges towards him.

Her shift is finally over, now the hard part commence. Once Philuffy sent Anna home, her worries will wilt away. Anna looked at Philuffy as she holds her arm tightly.

“Thank you for accompanying me, Philuffy.”

“You’re welcome! Phi will protect Anna until Anna is home.”

“I will repay you someday, Philuffy.”

They walk all the way home. So far, nothing was happening and the feeling of being watched disappeared, yet that heavy feeling was still around.

Anna was very scared as well. Philuffy just wished Shin defeat the monster soon so that no one will be living in fear.

They walked and walked and walked.

“Anna, are we there yet?”

Philuffy asked, she wasn’t familiar where she was living as we’re at the border.

“Were almost there.”

Philuffy didn’t know she live here. It was… weird. Then they were standing at the door of the warehouse.

“Ta-da! This is where I live.”

“Anna… really lived here?”

Anna nodded.

“How about we have some little snacks before you go home?”

Anna’s place was quite far, maybe it can’t hurt to stop a bit.

They entered the warehouse which was claimed to be Anna's house and saw a worn-down sofa, a wooden table and a television. The floor has some kind of line scribbling all over. Maybe it was served as luxurious tiles. Anna must’ve have been wanting to live a comfortable home so she became creative to decorate her so-called house.

“Why don’t you go sit over there? I’ll prepare some cookies and tea.”

“Cookies!”

Philuffy sat on the worn out chair, waiting for the cookies as she looked around her house. It was dark and creepy but it is her home and the only thing she can get.

"Hmp!! Hrrrrmmmm!"

She heard weak voices somewhere, it came in this very warehouse. Since this warehouse was so big, maybe there was some people coming in the area. Anna suddenly came with cookies on her plate.

“Sorry that it took quite longer.”

“It’s fine, Phi will wait more just to taste Anna’s cookies.”

“Please, have some.”

Philuffy took the cookies and filled it to her cheeks like a hamster. It was her first time to eat Anna's cooking and she was excited to eat one.

Meanwhile...

“God dammit! All his attack was too fast. He’s strong…. Too strong! He isn’t breaking any sweat."

Shin kneel infront of him from the damage he inflicted to him."

“Hey now! I wasn’t even using my Break Form and you’re already in this limit? I vaguely even used my Gear here. You said yourself that you were not holding back.”

Shin thinks this guy is playing around with him. It pisses him off so bad as he laughed like it was nothing.

“I was… only getting started… Come on, you bastard! Let’s play more!”

Shin smirked as he said it but the guy who used to be smiling suddenly dropped and became very angry.

“That cockiness of yours… I hated it... so bad! How about we spice things up for what you did to me? Shin Kizuna.”

“What?”

There was some kind of Breakdriver appeared around his waist. He plans to go all out.

“I suggest you use yours or you might die here for real.”

“What do you mean?”

Suddenly he made a hand gesture like his right arm formed in a fist and act like a hammer and slams his own left hand. Like he remembered something or came out an idea.

“Oh! You made me remind that event. So, let’s complicate more things, in this time around. Philuffy was now held hostage by the Nightmare at the abandoned warehouse at the ship port.”

“What!?”

“Hey now! This was literally the girl’s fault, so blame her for having this much trouble.”

“Philuffy...”

He looked at the sky as if he was thinking something has happened.

“I bet she became the victim of that Nightmare by now…”

Shin felt troubled to solve such a difficult situation alone and now, Philuffy was now in deep trouble and same as him. Facing such a very powerful person with unexpected abilities which is unknown to any Breakers.

Meanwhile at the warehouse.

Philuffy was asleep from the sofa she was sitting on, as Anna was staring at her with an abnormal wide smile on her face that reached her cheeks. As Philuffy was talking in her sleep.

“Shin…”
