She sat chattering with Princess Clair, laughing and exchanging thoughts with each other. Her hair blew as Clair showcased her powers, her sapphire blue ball gown reflected in the moonlight. People clamored whisking drinks and plopping food into there hungry beasts. Couples waltzed side to side enjoying the melody. Prince Nicholas Attar escorted Aerial smiling goofily impatient to meet Princess Clair.
~Flashback
The front door was knocked open by a gush of wind " Clair" she whispered.
"Aerial! Where are you? you have to come! I'm good at seeking!" Claire's singsong voice echoed through her cottage making her breath hitch. She felt her cottage been fussed and disoriented. Heels clicked up her stairs but Aerial only dug deeper into her closet, her room door was banged open, the wood creaked announcing that Clair was just steps away. Aerial hid in her red closet not wanting to go to the ball.
" Oh! common Aerial I'll call the guards to look for you!" she moaned disapprovingly. "I know where you are" Clair's voice screamed with triumph.
'Oh No!' Aerial thought. Heels clicked one by one, Clair finally reached the closet. Aerial's breath made the hiding spot hot, she felt the closet rattle although she knew it wasn't. The closet was draped open.
"There you are!" a shrieking voice screamed in triumph when she sighed getting off of her closet.
~~End of Flashback
"Princess Clair, would you like to dance with me?" Prince Attar questioned offering his hand. "Yes!!!" she shrieked in response, Aerial nodded allowing her cousin to take away her only company. The couple waltzed happily red tinting their cheeks, the crowd whispered in Aww while some shook looks of jealousy.
" They look cute don't they?" some familiar voice declared breaking apart her thoughts

" Yes they do" she agreed glancing at the couple who were smiling and bowing at the applauding crowd.
"Prince Laen, would you mind dancing with my daughter?" Aunty Alaina offered adjusting her frilly skirt. Rolling her eyes Aerial ignored her. Glitter, glitter was the only thing visible, blinding her eyes.
"Mommy where were you? I'd been looking for you everywher-Oh!" a girly high-pitched scream came hitting towards Queen Alaina. "Prince Laen," Rosalina purred flirtishly as she noticed the Prince "would you like to dance with me?" she invited ignoring the uncomfortable look held on his face.
"Um..I..err" the Prince stuttered finding for an escape " Actually... I would like to dance with this fine lady here" he excused grasping Aerial's hand." It was nice meeting you Queen Alaina and your daughter Rose" he spoke tugging Aerial towards the hall. Aunt Alaina shot a disapprovingly look at Aerial before trotting away with her daughter on her back.
" Why me? I don't dance!" she whisper screamed as they waltzed.
"I didn't want to dance with Queen Alaina's daughter" he shrugged
" Oh! Amelia, I can't believe I'm dancing with the person I hate!" she prayed.
"Aerial?" Laen questioned peeping through her mask. Rolling her eyes she grumbled under her breath "Yes you idiot it's me," "but why?" she inquired dipping down which made her gown plop.
" Wow..um..you look different," he complimented "anyways she tries too much" he added gesturing towards Rosalina, sucking up her image near the hallway mirror there Rose applies red dye on to her lips.
The music slowed down, couples dipped bowing to their partner in respect before moving their hips enjoying the slow rhythm. In Luna the ritual was carried from the past to the present, the dance was to dip down in respect to their partner before holding their partner to dance. Laen placed his hands on her waist while Aerial placed hers' on his shoulder. Hustled whispers broke through the crowd. "You look beautiful" he commented straying a piece of her hair behind her ear.

" Hello everyone sorry to interrupt but the feast shall begin, thank you!" Queen Helena's voice interrupted making the two beak apart. Nodding everyone took places on grand table.
A gush of wind blew past her "Aerial you have to come now!" a whisper broke out "Save the prince!" it howled "We shall all close your eyes before the entertainment" the Queen ordered.
She gasped a mouthful of air before closing her eyes.
" Is everything all right?" a voice called out " Did you add it" a cloaked figure questioned. The clanking of cutlery disturbed her thoughts. " Yes, the poison" a young voice filled.
"STOP!" she screamed grasping everyone's attention " Poison! Prince- plate!" she pants breathlessly unable to make a sentence. Gasps broke out through the crowd.
" Prove it!" Rose snorted "Yeah prove it!" the crowd erupted,
"Trust me" she cried beggingly
"Trust you?" Aunt Alaina questioned laughing evilly " Believe a young ruthless, powerless child?" the crowd chant laughing along with Queen Alaina
" Prince Laen?" she quires but he only shot a look of disappointment shaking his head swiftly
"But I saw! the wind it spoke to me" Aerial implied trying to persuade the crowd, the Queen, but the crowd's horrendous laughter only increased echoing along the marbled hall which mirrored her image. She glanced at Queen Helena but was only met with a smug apologetic smile.
"We shall all begin the entertainment and no one shall interrupt" Aunt Alaina spat out swallowing a smile of victory. Grasping Laen's bowl Aerial plopped the mixture gulping all its contents before falling on to the marbled floor.
