Soon a shout came saying "For Narnia and Aslan." All the swordsmen followed behind Nicholas, Richard, and James, who rushed out onto the battle field. Liz and her archers continued to fire were careful not to hit their own men. One man caught Liz eye. It was Matthew. Her angry raged as she saw him leading the army. She wanted to kill him but unlucky for her she had to command her archers for now. Down on the battle field Nicholas, James, and Richard were beginning to fight. Their armor clashed as they rode through kill everything in there path. Liz watched from a hill as the battle continued. They were out number and it was her call whether to send the archers into battle or not. She looked them and they seem to be tried of standing and shooting. They wanted to fight and so did she. She got ready to tell them to attack when a scout came running up to them and said,
" There is a small army coming this way. I was the only one to survive to bring this new to you."
" Well done, but do you know how many there are?" Liz asked.
" Around 300 maybe more or less," said the man. Liz knew that she was going to need help so she blow her horn to signal to the others that she need help. James took some swordsmen and went to join Liz. When he reached her, he asked,
" What's wrong?"
" A small army is on its way," said Liz
" From what direction?" James asked.
" Behind us," said Liz turning. They could barely see the enemy.
" I will take these men ahead. Follow behind but not to close," said James. Liz nodded. James took off on his horse. His men followed. Liz waited until he was a little bit ahead then started after him. Her archers followed. They reached the enemy and James charged them. Now there were two battles being fought. When Liz reached the battle she told the archers to put away there bows and draw their swords. They did as she requested. Then they charged into battle. Liz set her eyes on the leader. The bull man who helped Matthew. She killed everyone in her path that was the enemy until she got to him. The bull man smiled and said,

" I remember you. It looks like you survived. Matthew will enjoy killing you once and for, if I don't."
" You won't because I am going to kill you first," said Liz angrily. At that the bull man charges her. She dodged him and stabbed him in the leg saying,
" How does it feel to have pain running through your body." The bull man got up and swum his axe at her. She dodged again then lunged at him. He dodge it and struck her in the face reopening the scar on her face.
" What is it with you guys and my scar," she said ignoring the pain as she lunged continually at him until she hit him. He grunted. Liz looked to see she had hit him in the heart. He fell over dead. Liz had won. James finished the rest of them until there was none left. A cheer rang out then James said,
" We must return to the original fight." Liz gather up her archers and started back. She felt someone grab her arm. It was James.
" Are you okay?" He asked
" Yes," said Liz as she felt the pain on the side of her face.
" Okay," James said picking her up and putting on his horse with him. They rode off back to the battle where the odds still weren't looking good. Liz jumped off the his and started to ran into the battle.
" Where are you going?" asked James.
" To fight with my men," shouted Liz back as she continued to run. James smiled then kicked his horse into a canter. They started fighting. James was going to go after the leader, Matthew. He started after his when his horse was shot. He tumbled to the ground but got up quickly. Liz saw him fall and was trying to make her way over to him but keep happen to fight people off. James soon started fighting with Matthew. James had the upper hand until one wrong move. He went to swing at Matthew but Matthew blocked it flinging James's sword out if his hand. Liz was almost to him, but she was to late. Matthew drove his sword straight through James's gut. Liz screamed. Matthew turned to see her standing in shock.

" Well, well, well, look who survived," said Matthew. Liz looked at him with angry in her eyes and said,
" I am going to kill you." Matthew laughed and said,
" And I was beginning to like you too." Liz charged him. Matthew dodged her, but Liz swung back and cut his arm. Matthew grabbed his arm, but lunged at her. Liz blocked it flinging the sword out of his hand. Liz swung at him, but Matthew kicked the sword out of her hand. Liz quickly grabbed her daggers as did Matthew and started fighting again.
" You will not beat me," said Matthew. Liz kicked him and knocked the daggers out of his hand then drove her dagger into his heart saying,
" oh yes I will." Matthew started to smile but didn't get to finish it. She looked around to see the enemy falling back. She ran over to James hoping he was still alive and he was barely. She grabbed his hand and said,
" It's going to be alright." James tried to smile and barely made out the words
" Take care of yourself. I love you." He motioned her to lean down and she did. He then kissed her for the last time. Liz started to cry saying,
" James please don't leave me, please don't." James took his last breath then laid there motionless and lifeless. Liz began to cry. She felt a hand on her shoulder. It was Nicholas. He kneeled down on the and held Liz. Richard shortly joined them. Richard and Nicholas began to cry for him. After a few minutes later Richard said,
" We should head back now." Liz nodded. Nicholas helped her stand up and they started walking back Liz still holding tight to Nicholas. This was a day she will never forget.

Falling Petals
Death isn’t always the end, and sometimes we mistake it for a short nap at the end of a very long, and very stressful day. A frontier village was unnecessarily put to the sword. A father stoked the fires of war to punish an errant daughter, and perhaps set her straight, but as often happens when fire is applied in a measure too much: it can get rather out of hand. Nobody was supposed to die that day… but the village burned all the same, and the woman she loved was among the dead! Enraged, and seized with inspiration, she became something new, something stronger, and she will have her revenge! (on hiatus)
