“PUT… IT… BACK.”

While the pup is licking Terrance he looks at Bart and says

“I'M keeping it!”

Terrance checks the pup all over and sees a cobalt collar with a glowing rune embedded in it, on the collar itself reads Fenris Terrance says

“Oh he has a collar, his name is Fenris!!!”

Bart facepalms and yells

“PUT IT THE FUCK BACK! DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR HOLDING?!”

Fenris looks back at Bart and growls. Sunny walks towards Terrance and says

“Awe he is so cute! Can I pet him?”

Terrance sits down so Sunny could reach Fenris they then start playing with him. Bart clearly agitated says

“That dog is destined to end the world as we know it and you want to keep it as a pet? Cmon Emily back me up here.”

Bart looks to his side however Emily is sitting next to Terrance petting Fenris, Emily looks up to Bart and shamefully waves at him while holding Fenris, Bart looks at Mr.Li hoping for him to side with him, Mr.Li while stroking his beard says

“Terrance Fenris is your responsibility if he poops in the store I will force you to clean it up like a dung beetle would.”

Terrance, Sunny, and Emily all look at each other with big smiles on their faces. Bart frustrated goes over to the goblin and ogre bodies to check them for anything important, after rummaging through their equipment bart finds a simple note from Wortbum.

it reads:

The tomb that I want you to investigate has just recently appeared here in Fairview a few weeks ago. As you know the lands in and around Fairview change periodically to different environments. We know it Nordic in origin the two ladies we sent with our key to the tomb a few days ago have yet to return. Your job is simple, go into the tomb retrieve the key and anything left of the two ladies and get out. Do this and I'll forget that you two crashed my zeppelin.

Signed Wortbum

Bart looks up from the note and says

“These two were sent here by Wortbum to recover the key and your corpses. He thought you two were dead.”

Emily looks up at Bart and says with a smile

“If it weren't for you and Terrance we would have been.”

Sunny smiles at Terrance and says

“What she said, thank you both again.”

Bart just smiles and stares back at Emily, Terrance with a wide grin says

“As long as you're here Sunny, we got your back!”

Mr.Li smiles and says

“Alright, that's enough for today let's head back home.”

Bart looks back at Mr.Li with a frown and askes

“Are we really taking the dog?”

Terrance runs out of the room while screaming while still a big beetle

“YES WE ARE!”

With Sunny hot on his heels, she looks at Bart with a wide grin and holds up two fingers as she disappears behind the door

Bart mutters under his breath as she leaves

“I guess we are.”

Mr.Li was still rubbing his beard as if something was still puzzling him Emily then spoke up

“What's wrong Mr.Li, having second thoughts.”

Mr.Li looks back at Emily and says

“It's strange that Wortbum would send these thugs in here they were under-equipped for this. Wortbum is a ruthless goblin but he doesn't waste resources and bodies like this. It's strange… I do believe we should pay him a visit Bart grab something that looks important seeing as Terrance and the girls took a liking to the pup we must make sure he's satisfied with something.”

Bart looked around and decapitated one of the draugrs and began dragging it out of the tomb

“Terrance gets a dog and I get the severed head of a walking corpse.”

Emily looks back at the two bodies of the fallen ogre and goblin still sitting in a pool of blood Emily says

“Why not the Wortbums men? Wouldn't he want to know what happened to them?”

Bart still dragging the draugrs head looks back at Emily and says

“Wortbum doesn't give a shi… he didn't care about them. Just one of those draugrs is enough to easily kill ten people, Wortbum knew exactly what he was doing sending them here but why.”

Emily puzzled as to what Bart said walks out of the ruined tomb she looks back one more time on the dead bodies feeling a hint of guilt for leaving their bodies in the tomb

As the group makes their way outside of the tomb Emily asks Mr.Li

“Will Wortbum really be ok with a severed head? It Seems strange to me.”

Mr.Li chuckles and says

“My dear what do you know of places like Fairview?”

Emily thinks for a second and then says

“Well we have only been traveling for about two years and we haven't had much interaction with people like you or wortbum, in fact, this is the first time discovering a town like fairview.”

Mr.Li looks at her and says

“You saw how easy the boys took out five draugr. Those draugrs compared to the rest of the supernatural world are very powerful beings that would normally take a group of at least ten of those goons dead inside the tomb well equipped and experienced to take down even one of them. The heads of one of those draugr is immensely valuable both as a trophy and an ingredient.

Emily’s eyes grow big. She stops in her tracks and says

“Wait so what your saying is…”

Mr.Li looks back at her with a wide grin and says

“Bart and Terrance together are easily the strongest duo in fairview... And i believe with you and Sunny added to our little family we could be far stronger than any of us individually could hope to be.”

Emily looks past Mr.Li outside and sees Terrance and Sunny playing with Fenris. Bart is sitting on top of the severed head of the draugr watching fenris with a slight smile on his face. Mr.Li steps out of the tomb and with a wide smug grin he says

“Ok kids lets get out of here! Bart, Terrance would you kindly fetch my chair.”
