《PartyO4》1.2 Girls Night Out
Advertisement
The celebration is lively, everybody tucks into the well earned food and drink and raises a toast to future success. Mal excuses himself first, while Horton appears committed to replacing his blood with ale. As you stand up to head to the lavatory, Lyrrica gets up with you and immediately grabs your shoulder for support. You wobble a bit more than you would have expected from this yourself as the two of you head to the lavatory together.
Nature's demand taken care of, the two of you stagger out into the crisp night air. Thinking that the night is about over for you as well you ask Lyrrica if she can make it back to the guild barracks on her own. To your surprise the auburn-haired girl does a rather acrobatic twirl before leaning against you again. You are suddenly very aware of where her hands have been the whole time. Lyrrica gives you a squeeze before taking a few steps back and giving a flirty smile.
“Just wanted to get to know you a little better is all.” She says before turning to walk away. You hesitate for a second but follow her. You’re not sure if you’re about to ask her what she meant by that, or what, but before you can open your mouth Lyrrica stops you and shushes you. She has a smile chock full of mischief as she waves you over.
Stepping closer, you look where she’s pointing and see Mal scrubbing down his armor in the guild’s maintenance shed. The Nekon is stripped down to his pants as he removes the dirt and dire weasel blood, giving both of you a good view of his muscular back (and his adorable little fluffy tail). Lyrrica shares a “lucky us” glance with you as you go back to watching the man work. Mal stands up to wipe his brow, muscles ripple across his frame as the two of you wonder what the point of wiping his brow is with his helmet still on? Come to think of it, you don’t remember him taking it off during dinner either. His plate was cleaned and he had emptied more than a few tankards. Lyrrica looks like she was just shown a rather intense puzzle and found herself not equal to the challenge. The confused looking human walks toward the yard of the guildhouse as though deep in thought. You follow, partly because you’re curious and partly because you don’t really want to be caught peeping on your Nekon friend. Lyrrica leans against the well and pats a spot next to her. You join her and the two of you look at the stars together for a while.

“A good crew, and good money. That’s what I wished for in this very well the day I hit town.” Lyrrica muses as she takes a few steps away. “I’m not actually terribly superstitious, life is what you make it, after all. But I’m glad it came true!” Lyrrica flashes you a sincere smile (you mentally note how you’re now familiar with which smile is which). “It was always tough fitting in before. People never seemed to trust me much. You guys just let me join and we got to work. I love the way we can do something as boring as killing weasels and I still have such a good time together. You’re always fun to watch, Mal is super cute…”
A loud noise interrupts her as a well known local belligerent is defenestrated. Horton is standing atop the table next to the window, making a vulgar gesture towards the groaning drunk with one hand, and chugging yet another ale with the other. “Even Horton is a hoot, in his own particular way… Maybe it’s just the liquor talking.” Lyrrica comes back and gives you a wink as she leans against the well. “Hey, Liel, why not make a wish yourself? This well has a pretty good record so far.”
Smiling, you take out a copper and flick it into the well. Lyrrica takes you by the arm and leads you back to the tavern.
“Come on! Maybe they’ll give us a free drink if you can enchant the window back together!”
You consider telling her that would only work if the window had been enchanted before it broke, but to be honest, you’re already looking forward to the sight of Lyrrica flirting your way into some drinks again. You suddenly regret not wishing that your top stays on in the exchange this time.

The Novel’s Extra
Waking up, Kim Hajin finds himself in a familiar world but an unfamiliar body. A world he created himself and a story he wrote, yet never finished. He had become his novel’s extra, a filler character with no importance to the story. The only clue to escaping is to stay close to the main storyline. However, he soon finds out the world isn’t exactly identical to his creation.

The Shape of Home
The world of Alvelotyl is one of fantasy, one filled with many races, an expansive magic system exploring themes of identity, some LitRPG elements, moral ambiguity and no small amount of magical inventions similar to those in our world. Dragons with blogs showing off their hoards of treasure live alongside [Hunters] chasing Giant Toads, or [Bandits] using rifles charged with Fire Magic. The Shape of Home is a story within this world, and follows the exploits of Yuri Scalesmith, a budding Lizardfolk adventurer from a small country town with a knack for inventing, and how her life drastically changes after she’s taken from home forever following a single catastrophic event. After being taken from her previously normal life, Yuri is thrust into a world of sprawling streets, magically mutated monsters, and a crime war for territory stretching across an entire city. The Shape of Home normally updates every Tuesday and Saturday at 6PM GMT, but I'm trying out different upload times to see how people react and attract others in differing timezones. There will be two week long breaks after each story arc's Interlude. This story is also a participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge!

Lore and Legend - The Werewolf
Set in the world of Chronicles of Elyria, a young woman struggles to support her family after her husband's wartime injury keeps him at home. Without enough food for the coming winter, she's forced to make risky decisions in the hopes of survival.Author's note: I initially started writing this for another community but it was suggested that I should post it for this site too, so I hope you enjoy! The world it's set in is from the video game Chronicles of Elyria, which is being developed right now. You can check it out at www.ChroniclesOfElyria.com. If you do head that way, I'd appreciate it if you entered my friend code of 51E750 into your account to show the referral. If not, that's fine as well.

Dimensional Dissonance
A cataclysm. A new world with many fundimental changes, or perhaps an old world with a new face. New entities that have never before been seen. A young man named Gareth awakens unusual powers in the form of a symbiotic transdimensional entity. These powers can change the world, prevent the extinction of humanity, and perhaps even pave the way for a whole new world. However, where there is power, there will always be those who seek to abuse it. They aren't content with sharing, and will do absolutely anything to stop Gareth from becoming who he was destinied to be. Caveat: While the novel does contain the LitRPG tag, this is not the primary focus of the story. Instead, the LitRPG structure is used as a plot device within this story.

Falling Through the Cracks
After falling through a rather unexpected crack in the universe that spawned under his bed, Alex finds himself in a world filled with monsters and magic. Now instead of worrying about SATs and college applications, he only has demons, magic and rips though the very fabric of the universe to occupy his mind. Quite a bit easier in his opinion. This story has abuse, trama and brushes breifly on suicide. I`ll try to include warnings on chapters that deal heavily in any of those. I’m also a very new writer, so please let me know of any mistakes you see! Updates Mondays and Thursdays Image credit: Credit: NASA, JPL-Caltech/S.
