Sean was floating in a spacious white area no one or thing was seen around the area, the only thing that could be felt was the shivering of his wounded soul.

“ Hello? Taurus you around here?” The angel’s calls echoed in the emptiness, then in the blink of an eye, a regular dog appeared before him. The scars were the same as Taurus’s but the collie shepherd mix bore no horns; he seemed to be a normal dog.

“ Is that you Taurus?”

“ Yes. I assume you aren’t here for me but for the Boogeyman,” answered the dog as he floated away, his tail flicked signaling Sean to follow.

“ I am, but why is he here?” Sean flapped his wings to follow the dog.

“ I’m Allen’s dog. Ah the good ol’ days. Allen is the Boogeyman in case you didn’t know.”

As they traveled a silhouette of a large ghostly black wolf It’s hind legs were replaced with a snake-like body and two pitch black tentacles jutted out from each of its sides. Came into view, Taurus’s dog soul ran to the silhouette then began circling around it wagging his tail.

“ Are you Allen?”

The silhouette turned around then appeared in front of Sean, the wolf’s four empty white eyes, though the left pair were scarred, examined Sean. A small smirk grew across the wolf’s face that sent shivers down Sean’s spine.

“ Nah I’m James Charles,” the wolf cackled to itself. “Aye I’m Allen,” his voice sounded exactly how the sadistic voice Taurus switched to sounded.

“ I see… you give nightmares to people. That's what you did to me and Quiver. What do they mean?”

“ That isn’t really what I did to y'all, really but whatever. Regardless, I didn’t see what you saw. All I did was send you to sleep to trap you in your mind. Not really a nightmare of my creation, but I can make you relive it.”

“ Hm… I suppose it's the only way to know what’s going on.”

“ You could always just leave your problems behind and let them fester until insanity grips your soul and you think about it in the shower.”

“ No. What the devil is a shower? Regardless, I will confront them. They could be the reason why I black out when I came to the Mortal World.”

An eerie smile grew across Allen’s muzzle and his white eyes shifted into an exact replica of Sean’s baby blues. Everything around them began to fade into darkness.

Sean looked around in fear as the background slowly turned into a dark snowy night with a cabin ablaze in front of him. Sean was panting heavily as he held two babies in his arms that both were wrapped in separate bundles of soft beaver fur, watching the cabin burn from white fires. A shattering-like pain was felt in his heart as if he had lost something precious to him.

He ran to a barn nearby then got on a horse, riding away from flashing white and dark energy colliding. As he rode on into the blizzard night he noticed that light figures were gaining up behind him. A sudden sharp pain surged through his body that was coming from his back, but he continued to ride through the snow holding the two babies close to him.

He soon arrived at a cliff, where blurry white figures surrounded him. The Northern Lights floated through the sky and began to surround Sean like a vortex scaring off the white figures, Sean looked around at the swirling colors that shielded him. A bird shape began to form in the flames around him then it dove toward him.

After a flash of colorful light, Sean’s wrists were chained down to the arms of what felt like a chair he squirmed trying to get free. While he squirmed his ankles seemed to also be cuffed to the chair. His surroundings were blurred or not seen at all. Two blurry figures chatted in front of Sean. He tried to listen, but their conversation was mostly muffled.

“ Memories,” the only word that was clearly heard from the figure on the left, the image began to glitch and become static, fading into another scene.

Sean’s stature was much shorter than normal like a child, he was sitting on a pile of hay watching two other children running around chasing each other. Sean didn’t feel safe; he had a feeling that loomed over him as if every movement and every breath he took was a mistake. The feeling made his shoulders tighten and his stomach turn inside out.

A woman was walking toward them, her walk was slow and stumbly. Her face was riddled in wrinkles, fatigue, and sadness. The little girl and the boy who were chasing each other went to the woman calling her a name but the name was glitched out. All the woman did was shove them aside as she continued to slowly drag her feet to the small rugged house behind Sean. The woman glared at Sean in disappointment as she went inside drinking from the bottle in her hand. The little boy and girl ran up to Sean with tears in their eyes.

“ Big brother, why doesn’t she want to play with us?” The girl whimpered looking up at Sean.

“ Yeah! Why does she hate us and drink that nasty stuff?” The boy had tears streaming from his eyes. Sean got down and hugged the two holding them close protectively.

“ I-I don’t know guys, I really don’t.”

The woman came back out now with an angry expression on her face. She marched over to the kids then stared down at them with all three of the kids shaking in anticipation and fear.

“ How many times do I have to tell you sniveling gluttonous pigs to be quiet when I’m home?!” The woman slapped Sean away then punched the two little kids in the face making them cry which only made the woman beat them harder.

Sean ran over trying to get the woman away from his siblings. The woman tried to shake Sean off of her but Sean didn’t stop, his little siblings ran off to hide somewhere. The woman shoved Sean off her, finally, looking around she scoffed then looked down at Sean.

“ You miserable demon! From the day you were born you ruined me! Even now when I’m teaching the rats a lesson you ruin me! If you want to challenge your own,” the word was glitched out, “ then go for it!” The woman began beating Sean with no mercy.

Sean screamed and struggled.

Then everything faded back into the white room with Taurus's dog soul and Allen floating in front of him. Sean looked around panicked, panting heavily, and his heart beating rapidly with a feeling of brokenness surging through his soul.

“ Wh-what fresh Hell did you show me?!”

“ Those aren’t my creations, Sean. Those all came from you. All I did was shake them loose. I have to get back to the Dream Realm. Find Crow. Awaken.”

A jolt flowed through Sean as he sat up in a luxurious bed he was in. He looked around at the floral designs engraved in the walls around him. Something warm grabbed his hand. Sean looked to the source seeing Quiver’s anxious expression, her eyes begging him for answers. Sean leaned forward, stuffing his face in Quiver’s shoulder, she pulled him into a hug rubbing his back a little.

“ Hey what’s wrong, are you okay..? You’ve been out for two days.”

“ I-I don’t know….I-I need answers,” his voice sounded weak and quiet.

“ Well we’re at Flora and Fawn’s Paradise. You could talk to the fox, but please take it easy. You're still weak from the fight. I’ll leave you be.”

“ N-no, stay I want you to stay…”

“ If you insist.”

The she-elf and the angel sat on the bed embracing each other in a hug letting the silence engulf the room.
