CHAPTER 7: CONTINUING EXPLORATION

“This,,,” Lily White gasped as she used her power to levitate a black orb and used her intent magic to read its composition. “A space holder, hmm, very useful”

After a half hour pass, Neil successfully refine the magical energy and fully absorb it to his body, he smiled in delight as he stood up and looked around the place, his eyes meet the lovely stature of the snow lady guarding him silently, Neil then approach her as he studied her from head to toe, Lily White complexion are truly stunning as ever, even back on the said eroge game he used to play.

“Something matter my dearest master?” Lily White ask as her eyes lock on Neil's eyes.

“My power level as of now is 155, although the flow of events are very fast than I can imagine, its still remain mysterious and unanswered” Neil speak with worried tone despite his usual happy go lucky manner. “Although I got this fascinating ability to compensate my lack of Elemental affinity, its still at weak state, that same standards as you”

“I understood, a question remain unanswered is a mysteries that need a hint or a clue to discovered” Lily White smiled, she then held a black orb and used her magic to pass it to Neil. “A gift for a seeking master”

Neil catches the black orb and inspect it, as he widens his understandings regards to the magical trinkets they have found in this small cave nest of beast, Neil used his intent magic of Null Energy to absorbs the black orb as a wisp of magic essence flow to the orb and shine bright like a galaxy in a lone space, Neil is becoming more suspicious of his new found abilities.

“Sudden Summon, Shinto Shrine, Null Magic, Servant summon from Imaginary Concepts, such a twist of fate in order to find a way back home” Neil said with a distraught tone as he take a deep breath and then raised his new magic trinket.

The black orb glow as it absorbs all the treasure of the said cave, leaving only the ice floor and the darkness it contains, the black orb the shines after absorption of the numerous treasure loots and then become a small wisp, flowing to Neil’s hand and disappeared without a trace, leaving a small dot on Neil’s right hand, The two walk out in very fast speed to go outside the cave.

“I'll gonna be Frank with you Milady, if you weren’t here at my side and I ventured this forest, I won’t last long even in an hour” Neil confessed as he run, taking also an eye on his surroundings.

“Be blessed by a sudden abilities or died by a reckless and ignorant actions,,, Master, that is your fate” Lily White replied while her eyes closed, as she flew at Neil side. “As your servant, I have to perform my duties very well for you”

“Right, my abilities is just “NULL” and I really need to honed it” Neil scoffed himself, if the beast he faced is full blown oriented elemental power house, his Null magic cannot hold or last long even for a several minutes.

“That’s why training is a must, a good thinking and planning, sharpen your perception of your future and noting your actions” Lily White remarks as she come closer to Neil and patted his head. “And that’s why your are a truly worth being followed”

“Well, I’m not in good in flowery language or flattery gestures, what I can do is based on my experience at all” Neil replied as he felt the soft hands of Lily White touches his head.

“I guess, the next plan will be” Lily White speak as she retracted her hand and continue to follow Neil.

“Yup, venture more ruins that suitable to our strength output, and besides, my power levels are also can be distribute to you if want too” Neil cut in as he deeply think. “What was your power again? 70? Or 80?”

“75,,, master, no need to worry about-“ Lily White answered and then her next few words was cut again by Neil’s reply.

“Nah, 35 power levels will work, “Null Ascension – Power Distribution”!” Neil commands his null spell, he calculated his Energy power level numbers that he will transfer to Lily White as a light binding bridge appeared from him and connects to Lily as a surge of rich essence energy flow from Neil to Lily White.

They made a long run back again to the Smoke Bone village, Lily White return herself back to Neil’s Null realm and rest in the shrine temple, as for Neil, he made it through the village and passed the guardsmen of the village, easily recognized by the guardsmen as they welcome him with proper greetings, making him felt a little awkward, without further ado, Neil return back to the Iceberg’s residence where he currently reside and rest for a whole night after eating with his adopted family.

They also talk about the “Null Ascension – Creation Pact”, Neil explain how its concept was made, it makes Lily White surprise and blushed in embarrassment and shyness upon discovering the second stage of summon, but still she didn’t hate it all, in fact she also learn from Neil about her origins and also her alternate end if she didn’t died in heroic sacrifice, Lily White was so curious on how the stories of her world will go now that she never have a chance to step on it.

And suddenly Neil reveals the second and third game about the “Daimon Diaries” sequel and tell her the future of her world, Lily White was quiet astonished on how her world turn out after her inevitable death, Neil confess a lot more heart breaking revelations and events that happen to second and third game, Her rival Samantha Frostguard succeeded her position as the new Empress of Winter Wonderland at the end of first game.

The second game is about the war of every kingdoms after the death of demon lord, the MC hero becomes a rebel after discovering the corruption of alliance he serve, the new MC is a mercenary that joins the rebel force and taught by the rebel MC of the first game how to fight, they conquered kingdoms and dukedoms, meeting familiar faces of the first game, some are joined them, including the Wintersong Family, others are killed which kinda sad for the fans of the cameo characters in first game, thus the rebel force made a socialist republic state after the successful revolt, it was time to enter the period of Renaissance of the said world.

The third game of “Daimom Diaries is the beginning of modernization, the new MC is an a child of the Rebel MC of the first game, his mission is to save the Wintersong descendant that is currently his female commander, thus facing new enemies and old enemies in second game, MC rescue operation must be done before his beloved female commander who holds a secret codes of special magic arms, also his commander miraculously resemble the face of Lily White.

He also tell to Lily White about the fourth game revelation trailer, where the new MC is a Wintersong descendant, his objectives is to lead his army in the era of WW2 like magical warfare, the last part of the trailer is wehere the MC visiting the grave of his ancestor, and it was the tombstone of Lily White as the MC puts a white flowers to the grave and pray for respect to his great ancestor, because of the sudden summon of him in this world, he will never get a chance to play the game.

After a few conversation with Lily White about the Tsukiyume Kurumi that Neil wants to summon on next “Null Ascension – Creation Pact”, Neil undergoes a magic training with Lily White to forged his power in Null magic, with Lily White guidance, Neil slowly but surely learn bit by bit, no wonder why the MC hero of the said first Eroge game is easily to harness his magical powers was because of Lily White’s guidance.

Morning rises once again, Neil and Lily White begins their hunt once again, they entered another ruins a bit far away, this time, it looks like an abandoned castle with many goblins, trolls and orcs linger as these monsters home base, with more preparations and well coordination, they entered the small camp of goblins nearby to the said castle and begin their two man slaughter.

“Null Ascension - Enhancement“ Neil triggered his skill as he swing his enchanted lightning sword, after hitting a one goblin, a chain lightning erupts and shocked to death the nearby goblins.

The goblins at the back who held bows readied their poison arrows as they point the bows to Neil, but before they can release their arrows, numerous ice spears rained upon them, killing some of them in a flash, followed by numerous ice bolts that explode and turned the hit enemies into a freezing statue, which Neil breaks with his sword upon nearby contact.

Neil is currently use the lightning affinity runic sword he got from the cave, although he still grasping of sword style, he manage to familiarize with it via his mimicking style, he remembers some move set and skills of anime and game characters that using sword at their disposal, although Neil trying to adapt to it in the best of his abilities.

The slaughter continues, wiping out the camp of Rank F threat level goblins is very easy for Neil's caliber of power, for a normal soldier level, attacking goblins alone is like committing suicide, but Neil is very cautious and never underestimate his enemies, and why so?

Watching numerous fantasy and adventure genre, RPG and isekai environment proves his perception of another world's threat, they maybe goblins, but if you don’t know how they run their turf and how they function in their environment, no matter how powerful you are, they will weaken you by numbers and poison they hide in their sleeves, as to why Neil is very lucky for his “Null Ascension – Radar Scanner” always come in handy.

Plus she have Lily White, a lady with a powerful perception of elemental and aura detection, they maybe outnumber by the goblins, but Neil's knowledge and skills plus Lily Whites experience and power combine, their slaughter of goblins is near perfection, Neil serve as an offensive terminator while Lily White is the back up support, if Neil found a hard spot on encountering these green terrors, Lily White jumps in for an ambush.

Their coordination is great, added by their connected consciousness that serve as their radio linker, they can communicate without making a sound, few moments later, the whole goblin camp was nothing but mass graves of goblin corpse massacred in gruesome fashion and brutality, as their innards and bones are popping out of their skin, some are toasted in black, others was crystalized in blue ice and smashed into pieces like a shattered glass.

Neil and Lily White's brutality is truly out of character but who ever to judge them, they need to kill and ensure that their prey will never breaths or move, killing a goblin is saving five – ten innocent lives, fair enough, they even rescued few female survivors that serves as goblin baby makers, in this pitiful state of these women gone through, even the ice cold heart of Lily White melted away in an instant upon witnessing their sufferings.

Even Neil give a warmth embrace to Lily White to calm her down, Lily White show her soft and fragile side only to Neil as she savored the warm embraced of her beloved master, Neil build a small tent to the side of the forest, nearby to the river for the survivors to rest and clean themselves, although they can heal the wounds but the trauma cannot, right now their safety is must secure.

“Looks like we are truly in a dipshit fantasy” Neil speak as he scan his surroundings, commanding Lily White to place an Ice protection array for the survivors in case some low level threat voids appear.

Just an insurance for a small catch won’t be bad, Neil senses telling him that castle where this Void creatures lingers are incredible strong, so he will needed an all out fast assault as possible to caught of guard the enemies before they even make a defensive formation.

“Master, all array are implanted, I will activate it” Lily White said in soft tone, as she made a few inspection in her arrays while waiting for her master final order.

“Proceed! We must not waste time” Neil directly replied, he inspect his weapons inside his black orb's space realm storage, he then face the lone castle in the distance as his eyes are become keen and sharp.

“As you command” Lily White answered as she closed her eyes and begin the finishing chant for activation.

“Lets begin”

“Yes, my master”

Few hours later, they made a stealth raid at trolls camp, killing small number of trolls with deep silence and tactical espionage, with their connected conscious coordination that serves as their radio like linker, they begin a quiet yet deadly assault.

Neil beheaded the clueless troll that sharpening his comrade spears and swords and Neil hide the headless corpse in the tall bushes, Lily white freeze a group of trolls in flash before they can react, they become like an ice statue, dying inside the freezing ice block in few hours after being exposed in extreme cold that even their thick skin cannot resist.

“I sense five trolls in that tent, Milady, on your mercy” Neil communicate in mind of Lily White as he proceed to another troll tent and saw two trolls sleeping defenseless, he beheaded them in a flash with his sword as the blood from their necks sprayed to the walls of the tent.

“Yes master” Lily White replied in Neil's mind, entering the tent and freeze all the troll in an instant.

Few hour later of sneaky operation with a deep caution, the troll camp turn into lifeless camp, although there is no massive massacre like the goblins gone through in the hands of Neil and Lily White, their death was quiet terrifying too.

Neil knew some of the trolls are already notice the strange occurrences in their camp and they starting to report it to the orcs, Neil then absorb the numerous energy essence and distributed it to Lily White to enhance her power too, Neil already back at 155 power level and lily white is at 160 power level, Neil want Lily White to grow strong for his plan in this raid.

They proceed to the orcs camp, Neil spotted the orcs camp is now on huge alert, and some few trolls survivors are now with them guarding the camp base in tight security and alertness.

“Oh, as expected of these monkeys, very fast in assembling troops, but that is not enough” Neil commented on his sightings as he shifted his gaze Lily White. “Do it, milady”

“As you wish, master” Lily White obey, she then raised her hands and release a powerful ice aura in the sky.

The ice magic becomes to form in Lily White's arms as it accumulated to her hands, Neil then move very fast, activating his “Null Ascension – Enhancement” as he become visible in front of the monsters line of sight.

The troll survivor readied their spear as they throw numerous spear at Neil, Neil summon from his black orb space storage his magic infused mace in his left hand, this is the first time he will try to wield a dual weapon, with a light element infused mace on left hand and lightning element infused sword at right hand he dash very fast and will face the raining spears.

The runic weapons that Neil looted from the a rank D level threat Void Ape are magically customizing based on the wielder hand size, but the needed strength to wield the weapon is the same, but Neil strength is enough, added by the “Null Ascension – Enhancement”, Neil can go full throttle of swinging this weapon like a wooden sticks in the back yard.

Spear by spear Neil parried and deflect away, step by step he closing the gap, slide to the left and right, jump high as he keep deflecting numerous spear as he swing his blade and mace to parried the incoming projectile.

From above, a magic circle of Ice element spreads to the size of the whole camp, Neil knew that Lily White is about to finish deploying her Area scale attack as he proceed to face the rushing orcs and trolls coming for him, Neil focus his eyes as he used the full power of “Null Ascension – Enhancement” as a surge of powerful energy imbued his arms, legs and weapons he currently wields.

“Master, my spells are ready, proceed as you command” Lily White announce to Neil in his consciousness like a radio transmitter.

“Null Ascension – Radar Scanner” Neil invoke his null art skill, spreading his senses around the area, scanning the environment to see if there a survivors might caught in crossfire of Ice art skills of Lily White. “Fire!’

Confirming that there is no innocent lives might caught in spell activation, Neil give the signal to the mind of Lily White and the lovely snow lady launches her all out attack barrage, the death has been casted, and the results will come to conclusion.

And from the magic circle that spreads wide of the size of whole Orc Camp a little bit far to Neil who is currently engaging a battalion of Rank E level threat orcs, the frost spears and snow bolts fall in incredible speed to the land marl of the Orcs Camp, and numerous explosion follows.

Neil swing his blade as he butchered the front line orcs and smash his mace on their exposed face till their head smashed flat into mush, he keep an eye on every orcs swings of their weapons to strike him down, but Neil well train nimbleness, he is very hard to hit, added by the orcs coalition to each other by their rampaging to kill one single pink skin.

Explosion appears in the camp, destroying everything and leave nothing but desolated ice land, mist and fog covered the area as it spreads to every direction, Neil continue his man slaughter, as activating the lighting elemental sword power and creating a chain lighting, making the enemy Orcs and trolls shocked to the core until they are nothing but blackened corpse.

“Your going down!” Neil roar with a full cold contempt in his eyes, he activate the light element Mace and numerous light beams appeared and pierced his enemies.

Neil continue to taking down all the orcs and trolls that remain standing to engage him on life and death combat, but they are not his opponent as he just slaughter them like there is no tomorrow, why showing mercy to enemies that heartless and mindless to humans?

Few moments later, the battle is over, piled of orcs and trolls are laying dead in brutal fashion, as they being covered by thick frost mist and fog, the only individual that standing over these dead bodies disappeared in the mist as he absorb all of their essence energy power, he was followed by enchanting beauty who is the perpetrator of Ice fall Camp massacre.
