《b4 + a5T3R》Waking Up

My eyes were still closed as I awoke as if they were glued shut. My limbs immobile and my body heavier than steel.
Words couldn't come to my mind. Only ideas. Pieces of thought broken into the simplest of ideas. Just feelings.
Where am I? Who am I?
Were the first questions that came to my mind, no, the first feelings that came to my mind. But before I even had the chance to think about them feeling returned to my body. I could feel myself on the rough rocky surface that I was laying on. My eyes still closed.
Then came the feeling of burning. My entire body felt as if it was engulfed in flames. I couldn't understand. Nothing made sense. It was as if I just popped into existence just to feel pain.
I tried opening my eyes. It was basic instinct. Wanting to see the world around me. But I failed. I couldn't do anything.
I wasn't going to give up. I attempted a second time. Managing to open my eyes to see the black rocky asphalt and a city in ruins around me along with a beautiful red sky. As if it was bleeding. My midnight blue hair blocking my vision slightly contrasting with the deep red sky. Of course, I knew not my surroundings. Everything was simply there.
I moved my eyes away from the skyline towards myself. I could see the beautiful brown skin on my hands, my skin nearly immaculate other than a few blemishes from the black surface of the asphalt.
Then the pain increased. As if fire had begun to flow through my veins burning the very core of my being into submission. It felt as though wires were being bent in my head trying to lock something away. Trying to hide it from me. My eyes closed while I struggled to stay conscious.

Suddenly I stopped. I didn't care anymore. I didn't have the energy to resist. The dangers of falling asleep unknown to me I let myself drift away into the vastness of my now empty mind. The only thing keeping me alive being my Drive.
And as I was asleep she arrived and took me away.

"What will you feel if, by inevitable circumstance, you never see your most beloved ever again?" ~~~ In the year 2000, 18-year-old Steven Vincenzo moved from the Philippines to the USA due to his father's promotion. They settle down in a small neighborhood known as Izzaya, in a city called Haggrew. Just a few days after moving, he finds out about a dark past from the Prohibition Era that still haunts the neighborhood, a dark past full of grizzly murders and kidnappings. Determined to know more about it, he finds out that there are ties to an old abandoned house he always passes by in the neighborhood, seeing it as a lead. Hesitant at first, due to the fear of breaking and entering. In order to find out more, he needed to go into the abandoned house where he finds a mysterious door that isn't like any other in the house. The infamous door that was presumed to be "The Culprit's Room." He enters the room where he suddenly got sucked in by an unstoppable force. He wakes up outside the abandoned house, to a confused girl in front of him trying to get him back into his senses. This girl was wearing vintage clothing and had quite a distinct accent that Steven had never heard of before, except in movies and TV series. Looking around, he knew something was definitely wrong. The abandoned house looked newly built along with other old houses in the vicinity. Trying to understand the situation he's in with all the clues he has, he eventually asks the girl what year it currently was to confirm his speculations. To this, the girl replies with a serious tone, "1927." Steven doesn't know what to do with all this information. Will he be happy that he could know more about the dark past and possibly try preventing it? Will he be distressed in trying to figure out how to come back to his own time?

The Top Six
Strike me in anger, Scream at me in hate, I will take it because that is my fate. For I was born in coldness and in warmth, born to a family from the North, I was born into a family just as they appear, then I became the one to fear, I was born in a place that was torn, born into a family filled with scorn, I was born to a family forever gone, born to be nothing more than a pawn, I was born to be sold, born so my family could get more gold, I was born to a world that has no strife, yet born to never have a life. So how do I tell you of the things that I know? How do I make you see? That you and I are not so different from each other, The only difference is that you are you and I am… Hi everyone, this is my first time writing a novel, so let me know what you think. I'd appreciate all your feedback on how to make this work better. Also, the chapters I will be posting will be first drafts, so semi-rough editing and proofing. I will usually post on weekends (Saturday and/orSunday), but sometimes I will post during the week.

Convergence Series
Eulisses Malinor is a prodigious and somewhat reclusive wizard with an unconventional outlook on life itself. The latter may or may not be related to him shedding the burdens of mortality some time ago. He claims that every wizard that takes pride in themself needs to reside in a tower in the middle of nowhere. It definitely has nothing to do with the Addia fanatics that continue to seek him out. Successfuly, much to his discontent. Ever out to ‘cleanse’ him, or bloody murder him if you'd ask the lich himself. But soon, that will no longer be a problem, as Eulisses has finally gathered every reagent - magical or otherwise he needs. He will tear open and stabilize a miniature Rift, essentially creating his very-own pocket realm in which even Addia’s gaze will no longer be able to reach him. Everything has been carefully planned out in advance, so there is no possibility of failure. You can maybe then imagine his bafflement, when instead of the nothingness of his successfully created pocket realm, Eulisses finds himself in a quite holy looking hall, amidst quite too-baffled looking fellows, in the centre of a gigantic summoning circle - allegedly, he cannot read the runes that make it up - and facing a young and quite fair maiden that stares at him quite wide-eyed.
