《The Diamond Of Eve》Chapter 5: Enter the world

I could feel a slight and slithering rush of air, pushing against the skin of my face.
The window left open while I had been asleep this whole time, it had made me wonder about the little dream I had.
While I kept on thinking about my dream, I heard the slow small thumps of footsteps coming from outside the door.
The wooden floor creaked with every step and upon opening the door which also had another creak to it, Alissa had appeared before me.
"Sloth, wake up, we need to talk" Her voice in a very demanding manner made me rethink about opening my eyes.
"Er, no, goodnight" Immediately I turned over and cuddled against the bed I was laying on"
With an irritated gruntle, Alissa stepped closer, I had guessed it was something about the dream. But, sleeping is so nice.
"Listen to me, you idiot, I'm not sure if it's just me, but last night I had a dream, and not a normal one ether, I'm guessing you also had one as well" Impelling me to listen, she had rocked the bed a bit in a fashion of gaining my attention.
I turned my head over my shoulder.
"For all we know, this is another world, and this is not earth. Where we are is in some other planet or some other dimension, but magic and all that foolish fantasy shit that we used to know in the other world somehow seems to exist in this one" Slowly speaking more about this I lifted myself from the bed.
Putting my feet onto the ground one by one whilst sitting on the bed I continued.
"The big dilemma that we are dealing with ourselves though is that we don't fucking know what to do in the first place, but the small info is that we have to get to a city and..." I turned to look at the ground.
I really didn't know what to do.
Looking at this in a serious manner we actually don't know where to begin, apart from that god of the sun dawning or whatever it was that he had said he was it had occurred to us that we are not in any specific idea to know where we stand.
Looking up at Alissa again who had her back against the wall with her arms crossed. That mild expression though, it got me thinking.
"Alissa, what type of dream did you have?"
"Huh?" Snapping her out of this convo onto another, she stumbled on the wall almost tripping over herself.
"My dream? Oh, it was weird, there was some type of ultra being"
I prodded more onto the subject.
"What else happened, just note the details, and speak up from what you know, I'll tell you what happened in my dream as well" I followed up by standing and listening.

She had told me about her having to choose three wishes, but she on the felt like there was a catch to it. Upon speaking to the god for a prolonged moment though, in the end, she had received its blessing, and the god that she had spoken to was named "Revus, The Alkine God".
Not having any info though, it would be best to keep quiet about this until they knew about what significance these dreams were of.
Going onwards with it though, she did say that her three wishes were 1: To be faster than anyone else. 2: To control fire and 3: To know everything. but as the last one wasn't really an able wish, the god conveyed to her a different deal, instead to read runes that had knowledge of everything, and that meant any dialect and any other thing.
So, speaking in a general manner, we had to move, and now if we wanted to know where we are.
Shit..... Why me?
======================
In a short while, we had eaten our breakfast, provided by the man of the house. Although we didn't understand him in the beginning, after my little talk in the dream with Kylo or whatever his name was, I had understood every word, and so did Alissa.
However, we needed information, so I constantly was speaking to the man rather than eat my breakfast, I needed answers and he was my info broker for the moment.
Upon my understanding of where we had been coming from, first I asked him about the layout of the land, he was astonished though because when we had met he knew that I was a foreigner from these lands, and wondered why I could speak in one night after many failed attempts and trying to get him to understand me in the first place.
But I came up with many excuses, saying that it was a curse set on me that wherever I slept for one night, I will understand anyone within a limited space for one year.
It was stupid but I had what I had, and the farmer did give me this weird 'Are you bullshitting me?' kind of expression. It honestly made me almost die of laughter on the inside.
The name of this world was called Enosha, and the name of the continent that we were in was actually the Kingdom of Halberth, which was actually renamed the Empire of Valst ever since it was overthrown in the past hundreds of years.
I also asked him if he knew of ruins in the direction that we had passed from.
He told us that this particular forest that was named The Black forest bared a castle and a noble, but it had been long since then, and now it's completely infested with monsters, he also mentioned that it would be no surprise if even demons had appeared in that area.

Although it surprises me because when we were there, there weren't any demons or monsters, the only thing was a big fat reptile that in my guesses would be a dragon. Because dragons are fucking cool.
I can imagine riding a dragon while a hot babe is on my right with big kazookas and me with a badass sword. I dream of that.
While I was in my daydream, I felt a hurting smack at the back of my neck snapping me out of it. I winced while rubbing the back of my neck, and turned to look at a glaring Alissa.
I stared for a few seconds after opening my mouth that made me look like I was about to scream.
And then I whispered "bitch".
After saying that I started running fast without looking back. in a very few moments though, I was getting chased by a pissed off Alissa simply because I called her what she didn't want to hear.
Eventually, I slowed down due to lack of stamina and she fly kicked me to the farm grounds without hesitation.
But anyways back onto topic.
So this world, I asked and it does consist of magic, but unfortunately it depends on the person, for someone to use magic, they had to be taught in the arts of it, and he has no idea how any of it works.
But he had known of many heroes who had used incredible magic spells that have completely obliterated demons and enemies, some had even passed through their village setting out for adventure beyond these "Carvallian Boarders" which I think he said was the end-line to the Sempiternus lands.
The Sempiternus lands as he said, were barren lands that bore nothing but ash grounds and bones, there were no villages there, no water, and many demons and monsters. The only next nearest spot to rest would be on the other end of the land that went to the Foreign lands, which as clear as the name, is another place entirely that not many from this part of the world know of.
Moving on.
Finishing to talk with this farmer though, I asked him if there were any near cities nearby or if there was any way I could get to them.
As I had asked, he spoke of a town in the opposite direction of the forest leading onto the denser farmlands, he mentioned that there we could take a carriage that would lead us to the cities.
Immediately I looked at Alissa as she had been standing near me this whole while listening in on the info the man was giving as well.
We didn't have much stuff, and the clothing that we were wearing was also weird, not to mention it would be a while until it would start to smell.
I asked the man his name in order to thank him before I had left, but he had stopped me, given me a small sac, one that looked similar to those potato sacks.
It had clothing inside and food and also a small waterskin, the other thing that I also saw were some coins.
"I knew you were not from around here, so I thought this would help you for your journey. I know that it may not be much but it is what I can give" The old farmer smiled, and somehow in those eyes of his I could see some sort of fire that blazed strong.
It was probably one of the most interesting things I have ever seen.
Soon after we were mentally prepared to look ahead at what we were going for, we had set out on looking for our place in this world, or whatever it was I guess, there would definitely be a lot of bitching but I can't just leave this girl. One because she needs me, and two because I need her, and lastly because we come from the same world.
And somehow I feel its a mutual unspoken feeling.
=================
"well look at those two go, I remember when I first came here, it reminded me of the troubles I had gone through"
The old man looked up in the sky.
His eyes glowed upon gazing under the still clouds that covered the rays of the sun.
"still" He felt broken in his heart.
A tear had fallen from his eyes and as he could feel this deep wallowing pit inside of him he closed his eyes in remembrance of the one beautiful little girl he had left alone in the other world that he had come from.
"I still miss you" again as his tears fell from his eyes dripping down his face, he was remembering his very daughter.
He could hear footsteps on the grass coming from behind him.
"Uncle? what's wrong?" the little girl he had taken care of in this world had approached him and grabbed his hand.
She had looked at him with pure innocence, he knelt down to hug her and said: "Nothing my dear, just thinking with my heart, about the stories I've told you about".
In response to this, she closed her eyes and wrapped her arms around his head.
"Don't worry uncle, I'm always here to help you"
The sky was slowly turning blue as the wind picked up, swaying the tall grassy hills and swinging the leaves within the air. The pristine time was slowly turning this world around, darkening the skies. Soon enough it would be night, and by that time, the two would have headed inside their little home.

8 174(Un)Paralleled
Based on the novel by MGHT, Unparalleled. Things are not as they were. In this alternate story, follow our Hero(?) as he traverses the world. But, is this world really the one we know? I will be using MGHT's original story as a guideline, and applying my own touch to it. Due to there being a lack of information on the wider scope of things, I'll be throwing in things that may not adhere to the original author's plans. Then again, what fun is there in reading something that has already been done? Tags and genres stated are subject to change without notice, be it the addition or removal of tags. Cover art is a fanart I found online a long time ago. Character is Gyuki from Nurarihyon No Mago.
