《The Diamond Of Eve》Chapter 4: I Have a Dream

I Took in notice that this person was a farmer, by what he was wearing was a straw hat, overalls, and crappy farm clothing (Very new generation like for me to say, real sorry about that).
In that the farmer sees us and is suprised, I'm pretty sure its by our clothing, we look like we are from a different place in comparison to them.
"?" I couldn't understand him from what he said, it sounded absolutely like a different toungue.
Alissa (which I have been ignoring this whole time) finnally speaks up though and things get interesting.
"Can you speak english?" rough and tough and everything puffed out of those lungs as she spoke the magic words.
"???? ???? ??????" Of course a different response but still no perfect communication.
"The hell, I asked if you-" I grabbed her shoulder before she kept on going, I know she would have another outburst simply due to the stress and all that but I don't want to make things worse then the already are.
With a bit of a suprise she brushed my hand away negatively, andI moved forward.
I looked around on the ground for a small stick, and grabbing one I grabbed the attention of the farmer. As an attempt to communicate I took the stick and tried to draw onto the ground the events that had happened, it wasn't easy as it took us a few minutes to get him to understand.
However as more than 40 minutes flew by and time is precious, the farmer still stood around to try to understand what happened.
By the end he started using the stick and drew down something like a map, but I think he also is offering that if we wouldn't mind staying at the farmhouse or his house for a bit, so I tried using my hands to communicate more and agreed with him.

Stupid but it's whatever am I right?
Upon agreeing towards his request, the farmer then signed to both of us to follow him, and as we did, we saw the farmlands or the vast plains that had different people in their homes. It was calm and sunny for the moment, but in a while I feel like the sun would go down.
I noticed the farmer had a bit of a ragged way of walking, he was limping but I think its not a recent pain, he doesn't show any expression with pain or any sudden movement, he was chill as I would say.
While we are following the farmer, somehow i've been recieving the glare stare from our little friend Alissa. She had been doing that ever since I had stopped her from further speaking with the man the way she did.
I stared back for only a few seconds and she had turned her head away like she wanted me to notice it, this girl is just too much sometimes, shit.
Instead of listening to her or even having the chance to look at her I decided to put all my attention towards the farmer.
He was quiet and all and he seemed steady, but of course this farmer was a bit elderly.
.... Anyways fast fowarding towards the farmlands, we had arrived soon enough, it wasn't that far off from where we had gotten to, but how could this place be near a dragon? Do they even know something like that is over there? or not?
I wish I could ask these people these questions but it was probably the biggest barrier yet.
Also, I Hadn't noticed before but Alisson although trailing along she seemed awfully quiet. She must have slightly calmed down.

Back onto track, while we got closer to what appeared to be a house, which I'm guessing is his home a girl had ran up towards the elderly farmer and jumped into his arms, I supposed that she was either his daughter or grandaughter, she was a small red-haired little girl. I guess by around the age of 10?
Anyways, moving on I took into notice that most of the other houses weren't as big as this farmers house, and in the background I could hear the girl talking to the old farmer as he held her, but not knowing what she was saying I simply stared back with a smile.
The little girl however, game me a horrified look, I didn't get why, but it somehow seemed as if I looked like something evil.
As this happened I heard laughter randomly from behind, me.
It was alissa who was laughing, and somehow I'm pretty sure it has something to do with me.
"Hahaha, she just took one look at your face and boom, she's terrified" She laughed loud.
I turned around and Fakely winced. "Ouch it hurts so much that I'm being laughed at, please laugh at me more" of course I was being sarcastic but she didn't seem to care and kept laughing. Whatever not like I cared.
When I turned my head back though I saw the old man started to slightly chuckle as well while the girl still looking at me negatively. What the hell old man!
I'm not even going to bother, anyways, I kept looking at the old man with my 'Not-giving-a-shit' and he looked like he wanted to tell me something, so he put the girl down from his arms and signaled me to look up at the sky, the sun was going down bit by bit, time seemed to have gone by real quickly.
Right afterwards the Old farmer had somehow asked me with his signs if I had wanted to stay, and upon that I nodded with a smile, Alissa's laughter had died down already, and she had also understood from where she was standing that we were going to stay the night.
Soon after by the end of the day we were in separate rooms preparing to go to bed... However, this as the first day in a new world, I had a dream, and it explained everything.
This dream, is where I had recieved my "Gift" and I'm sure alissa had recieved hers too.
