Chapter 4 - Sagittarius, Scorpio, and Libra
It was the next day after the first game was announced. Today was the day, it will be announced who will be the secret cardholder. I decided to get off the bed early today since I wanted to try out a few things and few more important things to do before the announcement.
I got out and saw Yukio standing outside, locking his dorm door. He looked at me gritting his teeth, I sighed and locked my own door. I thought that it would be rude to ignore him so I looked at him and greeted him...
"Morning, Yukio."
"Save your morning. I am still not done with you. I am going to win over Okura-san you get it?"
"I keep telling you it's just a misunderstanding."
Yeah, he is still upset about that whole first name incident. I sighed again as he was about to pass by me but I decided to stop him. I grabbed his hand which probably surprised him as he turned around to look at me.
"Yukio come with me for a second."
"Wait why!? I don't want anything to do with you."
"I have something to do with you. Just butter up and come with me.''
"What if I refuse?"
"I'll tell Kurumi."
"Scumbag."
"Whatever you say."
With that short exchange, Yukio decided to follow me. I grabbed my phone from the pocket and decided to call a person. And then we both left for the place I talked about...
The place was isolated with no one other than me and Yukio. It was the same place Hayakawa-Sensei took me last time. I had taken a liking to this place. It had fresh wind flowing through with a huge area of grass which gives you a really pleasant and relaxing feeling. Yukio was still confused as to what I am going to do and asked me...
"What are we doing here?''
"A bit of a discussion so that a certain person won't bug me anymore."
"You mean me?"
"No. Just watch."
After a while, 3 imposing figures were seen coming towards us. Those three had different auras themselves. It's like they were in their own magical world though magic does not mean much here in Zemuria. I had called out the leaders of Sagittarius, Scorpio, and Libra. There was a very important and special reason I called them out here but talking to all three of them would be a huge pain in the ass.

As far as I heard, all these three belonged to different classes in the same school, and that they were always competing with each other in competitions. After I heard this, I decided to use this opportunity to get rid of a very risky yet dangerous opponent...
''I am glad you three came."
"What do you want with us? I would have been enough why did you have to call those two."
"Hey, Eichiro! What do you mean by that? You want to get beaten?''
"Try me."
"That is why I hate boys."
"Shut up you bitch."
"What did you just say to me you assholes?"
And I also heard that when this three meetup. A fight is bound to happen. I saw Yukio look disappointed. It seems like he thought that the leaders or people above our sign would be well versed and dignified people but it turned out to be the complete opposite. I sighed and used my Wind Elemental magic to rouse the grass a bit and catch their attention.
"Sorry for calling you this early but let's introduce ourselves first. I am Arata Akihiro of Gemini. Nice to meet you."
"I am Nakayama Yukio of Gemini. Pleasure meeting you all."
"The name's Homura Eichiro of Libra."
"I am Kaba Renjiro of Sagittarius. Likewise."
"My name is Asato Masumi of Scorpio. I still refuse to believe that I am lower than Eichiro..."
"Fuck that, Kaba is lower than both of us lol!"
"Shut up! You want me to crush your balls?"
"Didn't I say that try me?"
"I hate boys..."
"SHUT UP!"
And there they go again. I am surprised that a girl was chosen as the class leader. Not like I can say much cause to me it feels like she is the most sensible one out of those three. And also I am curious about this trio.
Homura Eichiro is the leader of Libra Sign. This tan-skinned guy has a very aggressive feel about him. A particularly notable feature is his eye patch, and he has a blemish on his right thigh which resembles the shape of an animal. I don't think he has lost is his eye, maybe it's just an aggressive look or something. He has mid-back length, azure hair which is wavy when allowed to grow.

Kaba Renjiro is the leader of Sagittarius Sign. This buff skinned man has a stubborn feel about him and has a small burn mark on the right side of his forehead. His light green eyes are puffy, and he has thick eyebrows. His dark green hair, dip-dyed at the ends with shades of juniper, is short, wavy, and is slick, and he has an impressive beard.
Asato Masumi is the leader of Scorpion Sign. This smooth-skinned woman has a confident feel about her. Her purple eyes are round, and she has neat eyebrows. Her light blonde hair, light blonde on one side and aquamarine on the other, is shoulder length, lank, and is slick. She wears subtle eyeshadow, vivid lipstick, turquoise eyeliner, an obvious foundation to even her complexion, and natural-colored blush.
They looked a lot stronger and a bit older than us but I am not going to question since they might beat the crap out of me. Yukio looked at me frustrated and confused and I also saw the time ticking out so I gave a sigh and continued...
"Let me get straight to the point and tell you guys the reason why I called you out here."
They stopped their arguing and looked at me in serious intent. They really were called the Big Three for nothing. They certainly had different yet strong auras about themselves. Even if I took all three of them at once with my Dark Elemental I won't be able to beat them.
"What do you think of this world and it's ways of life? I am asking this of you too Yukio."
Everyone's eyes went wide upon hearing it even Yukio was surprised. They were thinking among themselves as to what I meant by it and what they would answer to it. The answer was simple. It's fake.
This world is far more complicated and different from what we have been told. But that's a topic I don't want to discuss yet since basing random things without evidence isn't my forte.
It seems like they were still thinking about what to answer my question with. I guess I asked a bit critical question first. Let me drop that...
"Never mind, tell me what do you think of the living points first?''
"Aren't they the points of our living or something?"
"Sensei told us that they were points we would need to live."
"We were told the same too."
''At first, I also thought the same but we can use our normal money for buying our necessities. Then why do we need living points for? I checked every part of the mall and saw that there were 5 cashier booths in total for transmitting money from our real worlds for us. Then why do we really need living points for?"
Everyone went silent hearing that. They were all thinking a lot of stuff but right then...Renjiro and my eyes met and I knew instantly what he was going to do.
"Fire Elemental - Sunlight Arrow" Renjiro threw a magic arrow at me.
I was prepared for this kind of development so I already used trap magic just in case.
"Wind Elemental - Afterimage"
"What the hell!?"
I created an afterimage and the arrow went through it missing me. Everyone was shocked by it. Even Yukio who was supposed to be a Wind Elemental user like me was surprised.
"When did you learn this intermediate-level defense spell!?"
"Some poking helped me that's all."
"That doesn't answer my question at all!"
"It doesn't matter. We are still in the middle of a game remember?"
Yukio snapped back to reality after hearing that and stopped shouting. The others looked at me in surprise. I'd rather not fight them but it seems like a fight was about to happen. I glanced at Yukio and he understood what was going on. And here it is, my first magic battle of this world, was about to go down.

Legends of Balarel - A Leisurely LitRPG
Glenn Redwood has longed to become an Adventurer since he was a young boy, and has focused every waking moment on that goal since turning 14. Answering the challenge of the Gods of Balarel, he has fought Monsters, Leveled, and grown stronger. Yet the day before his 16th birthday, the day he will earn his dream or lose it forever ... the Gods have made a wager. And no mere mortal wishes to draw the attention of the Gods. ***** This is my crack at writing a leisurely LitRPG. My focus is more on telling interesting stories set in a world where people live under a MMORPG-like ruleset enforced by the Gods, and less on writing another story where the MC gets massive stat boosts every chapter before heading off to wreck the world. There will be plenty of blue tables (it’s LitRPG!) but my Adventurers are just starting out. This fic is about the journey, not the destination, so expect everyone to Level ... leisurely. Updates: M-T-W-Th. I’ll post 3000-4000 words a day, or 12000-15000 words a week. If this posting pace ends up being too much for me, I reserve the right to slow posts down a bit. Inspirations: Blessed Time (Royal Road) Is It Wrong To Try To Pick Up Girls In a Dungeon? (Anime) Trails in the Sky (JRPG Series) MC: My MC is a genuinely good person who’s both a talented warrior and tactically savvy. He prefers to solve problems without violence but will resort to force if necessary to protect his friends or innocent people. I’m tired of stories starring anti-hero MCs facing endless doom and gloom, so I wanted to write a nice guy with an adventurous spirit who helps people in a thriving fantasy world. That’s all.

(TT__TT) I apologize to my readers. After I was sick with a nasty flu for 3 weeks, my life got super busy and won't be able to write anything until maybe the end of June or around mid-July. Update: May 12, 2018 The next chapter of Otherworld will be a little delayed... maybe a lot. I apologize for the wait. I'm currently down with a nasty flu for over a week now but I'm getting better and would be able to continue writting the next chapter.
