"When you say to kill something, what do you mean??.." asked Valdezie
"You see, my girls are mine and only mine no lowlife can even put a hand on them, but this disgusting cockroach and his men have fed me up really good, come look at this" said Charlotte making a sign with her hand to Valdezie to come with her, Valdezie follows her to a room in the first floor which doesnt look a room of love it looks more a room where workers would sleep, in bed a female cat demi-human is gravely punched, her face is almost just a piece of red and purple mince meat.
"I understand....tell me where to find him" -Valdezie
"You wont ask about payment??"
"I drunk for the entire last night besides I don't know how the currency works, so I will leave to my companion"
"You are going to go alone??"
"If is just scum I wont need much help"
"Oh right then, you must go to the port where the houses are, you are looking the third house to the right but be careful he is not alone.."
"What a cliché line, you don't have any better tips?"
"The writer isn't very creative so hurry up"
Valdezie glares at his great axe, a thick single bladed axe's head on the top of a dark wooden staff with leather straps to make handling easier, it isn't a light weapon but every swing will cut thought flesh and bone.
Valdezie found the place after getting lost in the city, the place was just and old wooden house corroded by the sea salty breeze, Valdezie took a deep breath and open the door with a kick.
"Who the hell would break my precious door???" Shouted a man without an ear and with an a eyepatch on his right eye, a black beard so filthy as a dying dog, wearing a long leather robe with multiple belts and a cutlass on his hip.

"whatever, kill him and...blargh, you know the damn rest" said the filthy beard to his equally disgusting subordinates.
"!!!COME AT ME, IM WAITING HERE, I WILL NOT ESCAPE BUT I WILL BEHEAD YOU AND IMPALE YOUR BLOODY HEADS IN A STICK TO HONOR THE FORGOTTEN GODS!!!!" Shouted Valdezie with all his might, a shout so frightening that no one on that room dare to make a single noise.
"The sea will swallow you all" said filthy beard to his subordinates that are frozen in terror.
"Mmm...do you even dare me oppose me demi-human???....!!!!!!!¡¡¡?....you are a goat man???? Hahaha I thought I have had kill you all, that doesnt matter no more, I will finish the job" said filthy beard while unsheating his sword and pointing to Valdezie.
Both run to each other but filthy beard's cutlass was nothing compared to the heavy axe of valdezie breaking it into thousands of pieces.
"Damn you, you were always a plague making the living of honoured people like me a living hell with your poisonous existence"
Valdezie slowly approached him lifting his great axe into the air with no expression on his face.
"You fool, taste the new technology of gunpowder" exclaimed filthy bear taking out of his robe a gun and shooting into valdezie chest.
"What happened??" Asked Rah to Charlotte
"You had a wild night, that's all" replied with a smile Charlotte.
Rah had just waked up and Charlotte offer her some breakfast, both of them got to the bar where they were served some sweet honey bread, butter and coffee.
"Mmmm this is so good" Stated Rah while eating with twitching ears and energy the honey bread.
"I'm glad you like it"-Charlotte
"Did Valdezie taste it??"
"Well, right now he is doing a job"
"A job?"
"A simple one, he said to ask you how much for the reward"
"He is alone?"
"He insisted"
"Mmmm.....so the reward...what about 4 silver coins for taking the trash out???"
"The trash??"
"Yes....wait what type of job did Valdezie take???"
"The one you got paid in gold coins..."
"What???"
In that moment the bar door opened with a loud noise, a face appeared wearing an a eyepatch and a with disgusting beard, leaving a trail of blood as his beheaded head got toss to Charlotte.
"Done" said a bloody Valdezie with the gun wound on his chest still spilling blood everywhere.

Beast
A threat to the galaxy has come from another, and the Union of intelligent life will go to any length to stop it. Military Quarantine has held for hundreds of thousands of cycles. Traders, merchants, colonists, and Pirates live risky lives along the fringes as the politics from the inner systems fail to see the larger threats beyond their borders. A lone human finds himself far from home with no memories to how he arrived. A failing Trade vessel plays on a desperate gamble, while a malicious parasite searches for a suitable host. ............................................. Author's note: Beast is a story that I wrote a long, long time ago. Some of you might have read it then, back when it was posted on reddit over at r/HFY. It was my first webfiction and made in the spirit of that subreddit's "genre" of humanity being awesome. But, it is also a story that has bothered me a little bit. Just like most new writers tend to do, I made mistakes and errors that feel painful to reread. A Space Opera will be a Space Opera, but I had prose that makes present-me cringe. Still, at the same time, the story is still very much a tale I've never given up on. It was my first adventure into fiction: Beast was a crazy adventure with bodysnatching aliens, galactic war, threats from across the universe... Posting this story here is a way to try and redeem myself a bit. I won't call it a complete rewrite, because it's not, but I have wanted to go through and correct some of the major issues Beast has for a long time and put it somewhere more accessible to read (instead of as posts/comments on reddit) and I figure that now is as good a time as any. Additional corrections you might notice are welcome.

In a remote town, Henry, an energetic bookworm is thrust into the world as chaos engulfs his once seemingly peaceful world. His lord has a task for him, one in which will change his life forever. Wars brew, betrayal is at each corner, shadows step into the light, a supernatural force awaits the time to strike. Awakening an ancient civilization from their past may be their only hope now. A spiraling doom awaits the world of Isulia. **************** I put the gore and traumatizing warnings not because my book is overly gory. However, there are a few moments that may be traumatizing to some people. As for the gore, it shows up fairly often but not extensively. I've always loved violence in movies and books, (The Boys, Banshee, Kingdom of heaven, Vikings, etc.) I am descriptive of the scenes with gore. So be warned :) I have multiple MC and as a nooby writer, I've had a harder time writing from a female POV. Just a heads up. Don't kill me if I make the woman in my book seem weird. After the Long Burn
After the longest exodus in human history, a terrible accident threatens to turn the salvation of humanity into its most desperate struggle for survival. From the ashes of calamity rises a new human story. A frustrated scientist dedicates her life to recreating the Earth in alien soil, while another is gunned down for his sin and sets off a chain of events culminating in a desperate escape across the void for an opportunity at redemption. Around a distant moon a deep space miner stumbles onto a secret, the key to which lies buried inside his own tortured mind. After the Long Burn is an anthology of short science fiction stories set in the distant Ionad System. Author's Note: I thought I might try something a little different with this story. Rather than one story, it is six stories of varying length, each taking a slightly different perspective to tell a larger story. Some are more actioney, others more cerebral but I hope there will be something for everyone. Stories over 7000 words, with the exception of the titular After the Long Burn, will be published in two parts. I anticipate an upload schedule of one part every other day.

Children of The Sky: Heartcore
In the realm of Yggdrasil, there exist nine worlds. Each and every world has unique stories to tell, but there was one that stood out--The Floating World of Speir. In the land of Speir, the impossible does not exist; this world has given birth to thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of tales, fables, and legends. The fight for the fate of the world is a common occurrence and the neverending stories of the people which reside in it were all, by itself, always unique and interesting. Now, after many aeons have passed, the world has changed. Not only the power of magic could shape reality, technology also has the ability to change the world with just a thought. And from the world where futuristic technology meets magic, I have chosen to tell you a story, a story picked from countless others. This is the story of a boy who recently entered the prestigious, and the most powerful academy in all of the nine worlds--Yggdrasil Academy, to fufill his dream. What is his dream, you might ask. Well, allow me to show you the life of Reynard Foxtale, one of The Children of The Sky. *Warning. For those who don't like lengthy explanations or long talks, this might not suit your taste. However, the setting of my story does not adhere to most of the main stream fantasy/sci-fi settings. So, you might find my ideas unique or a little too weird and complicated or both. Whatever opinions you might have, I truly thank all of you who are willing to spend your time to read my story. *The cover (which is a picture I do not own) is not in any way an accurate depiction of the world in the story. P/S I will post this story on FictionPress as well. P/P/S I'm relatively new to this website, so if I made any obvious (to regulars) mistakes, please tell me. P/P/P/S Will update every two weeks. *Important: In Hiatus for now. **13/7/2017 Update. Check chapter nine (and maybe ten) post-chapter note.
