《Red Moon: The Beginning》Chapter 2 Part 1

It was already noon and Roxanne decide to go to lunch with Dawn and Michael. She plans on telling them about her decision even though it is her choice. They are still important to her. Once she was there, she found at the usual table they sit at.
"Hey guys," Roxanne said in a tried expression. They repeat the greeting and went back to eating their lunch. However, both of them did not notice that Roxanne was still standing.
Roxanne was hesitant to tell them at first, but she should know that they know each other for a while now.
"I'm going to Dulore," She said finally getting things out of her chest. Both Dawn and Michael snap their heads towards Roxanne like she got two heads.
"Are you crazy I thought you not going to Dulore," Dawn exclaimed. Roxanne tilts her head in confusion.
"Dawn you the one that gives advice and encourages me yesterday to go to Dulore," Roxanne explain trying to help Dawn recall what happened last night.
"Roxanne lets are honesty here," Dawn responded while pointing at Roxanne. "You don't usually listen to me nor do you care so that's why I think you would not go. And besides no witch/mage like yourself cannot fool every Immugus and human in that academy. It would take a lot of work and effort to make them trust you and believe you fully."
Roxanne does not know what to say because Dawn was always there for her and accepts most of her decisions. She never thought Dawn would think that she would not do this even if it means for peace. Dawn always the one that was always positive about world peace.
"I never thought that you will be the person not supporting me for this opportunity, Roxanne said slightly disappointed but accept the fact that Dawn is her own opinions.
"Roxanne this is Dangerous and even more with you being a mage, not a witch," Dawn whispers to not get attention towards them. "You are not going to survive, nor would you last long. You are going to end up right back here or dead if the council founds out that you are not what you seem. You should stay here and go through life with your own people and we will prosper one day.
Dawn stands up and puts a hand on Roxanne's shoulders. Roxanne scoffed in disbelief and brush off the gesture. No matter what, she going to end back here or died by the hands of the council is true in many ways. But what Roxanne understands is that Dawn peaceful about all life, but only the life of magic beings matters more than the Immugus and the human race.

"Dawn I think there are somethings that you don't understand," Roxanne said to walk up close to Dawn. Even when Roxanne is slightly shorter than Dawn. Both of them stare straight to each other eyes. "The headmistress chose me to do this for the magical beings to be an off part of the Immugus and human society. As you know we are both races and the headmistress wants me to go there and restore unity them and us, so we can prosper."
Roxanne smacks her hand on Dawn's shoulder and smiled. This type of smile is not something to simile back to, but Dawn does so even when she is slightly afraid of Roxanne.
"I never thought that you would be this way, Roxanne said putting her hand off her shoulders and walk away from Dawn. Dawn sits down watching Roxanne walk away. Nobody saw their fight, but Michael saw the whole thing and wonders why they forgot he was even there.
When Roxanne walks away from the cafeteria. She heard sharp heels clack on the floor. The only person who wears heels in this school is obvious. Roxanne turns around and sees the headmistress. Roxanne rolled her eyes and scoffed and turns around and went back to walking.
"I guess you heard us talking," Roxanne said as she is looking off at the school's landscape.
"I heard a lot of things between you and Dawn, but I never thought that you two having different thoughts would cause an argument, the headmistress chuckled and then she stops, " To be honest I knew she would show her true colors sooner than later."
Roxanne stops walking and turns towards the headmistress.
"So you know that I am going to Dulore," Roxanne asked already knows the answer.
"Yes, I already know that you were going and I know that how Dawn would react," the headmistress respond, " Dawn had this thought that you and her against the world, but when it is just you and not her with you. She feels threaten."
"Why she feels threaten," Roxanne asked while tilting her head slightly. She thought that she knows Dawn well, but apparently, she has secrets that she can not tell which is similar to Roxanne with Dawn.
" Dawn was threatened by other people who are close to you and she feels that they would take you away from her, the headmistress smiled, " She loves you like no other ... like a little sister who does not like to see her big sister go."

Roxanne smirked, "So you trying to relate with her."
"No, I am trying to say that I know what she been though," said the headmistress looking at Roxanne's eyes. "I know that this would be hard for you and for her to get through this, but things that are more important than family."
Roxanne stares back at her understanding of the purpose and goal. Roxanne nods to the headmistress and went back to her room to pack.
When Roxanne climbs the stair to her room. She opens the door and closes it behind her. Her room would always be in her memory and always consider being one of her homes.
Roxanne moves stuff under her bed and stumbles upon 2 chests. Roxanne was surprised it was here or rather she forgot it was there this whole time. Both of the chests have two crests on them. The one on Roxanne right is a black chest with two blue dragons circle around each other and the other on the left is also a black with a grey oval and two swords crossed over each other.
"Obstrepat,"
Roxanne glamour the chest so no one can notice it. She opens each chest to pack every one of her stuff. The first thing she packs is her clothes. If Dawn was here, she would complain about how many black colored clothes do Roxanne needs. Roxanne always similes and says because not everything about looks. It always about what you like. This still makes Roxanne similes, but soon after she starts to frown when she realizes how much they change over the four years of knowing each other.
Once she finishes packing her clothes. She packs the items that have value to her. Honestly, Roxanne does not have a lot of stuff to pack so it would not take her long to finish packing. The one last thing to pack is the photo that comforts her every night before bed. She carefully set it on top of her other stuff in the chest and close it real tight so no one can get to it.
When she looks up at the time, she realized she has twenty minutes left to get to her ride to Dulore. She quickly grabs the handle to each chest and runs down the stairs. She looks down so that she would not fall down however when she reaches the first floor, she saw three people waiting for her. Dawn, Michael, and the headmistress.
Roxanne stops when she saw Dawn and can't decide whether she was happy or sad to see her.
Roxanne finishes her last steps and walks towards them with a forced simile on her face. She turns to the headmistress and said, "I'm ready to go with everything packed."
The headmistress nods and hands over a rectangular black case.
Roxanne looks at and lets go of the chest handles. She reaches over and opening the case revealing a beautiful set of swords. Both are curved beautifully with a dark brown handle. Both had a symbol on the bottom of the handle. One has a wolf symbol and the other has a dragon symbol.
"Is that ...," asked Roxanne in an unsure voice.
"Yes and it's yours," said the headmistress liking the surprise on Roxanne's face, "They would've wanted you to have it."
She looks at the headmistress at disbelief when she hands Roxanne one of the swords. This sword was the wolf symbol and once it was on Roxanne's hands, she feels this overwhelming emotion. She moves the sword gracefully side to side and throw it up. All three people in front of Roxanne move back just in case, but Roxanne catches it on the handle.
"Thank you, Cassandra," Roxanne smiled while she puts back the sword in the case and closes it.
Dawn steps in front of Roxanne to get her attention and hug her tightly. Roxanne was surprised but quickly hug her back. Dawn steps back and gives Roxanne a simile. Roxanne lightly put her hands-on Dawn shoulders.
"Dawn I just want to let you know that you were a great friend over the 4 years, and I consider you as one of my sisters for life. Nothing would change that. Not even an argument can break us apart, said Roxanne giving Dawn one last hug.
As she pulls off, she hears a deep voice behind her.
"Excuse me," someone said politely. When all of them turn around a tall man white man was wearing a black striped suit that fits his tall figure. He has completely black hair and has silver eyes. No matter how Roxanne looks at him. He looks like someone that Roxanne knows in the past.
The headmistress turns to Roxanne to introduce to this man.
"Roxanne I would like you to meet your six pm rides," said the headmistress.
Roxanne turns to the headmistress and wonders what is she thinking.

Delve
Summary – Level 1: Delve is an isekai litrpg that follows an average guy who just happened to wake up in a forest one day. He wasn’t summoned to defeat the demon lord or to save the world or anything like that, at least as far as he can tell. The only creature there to greet him was a regular old squirrel. Soon enough, he meets other people, only to discover that he can’t speak the language, and that not everybody immediately trusts random pajama-wearing strangers they met in the middle of the wilderness. Things generally go downhill from there, at least until the blue boxes start appearing. Delve is a story about finding your way in a new, strange, and dangerous world. It’s about avoiding death, figuring out what the heck is going on, and trying to make some friends along the way. It’s not about getting home, so much as finding a new one. Did I mention that there will be math? Summary – Level 2: Okay, but what are you in for, really? Well, this story is supposed to be realistic, or at least, as realistic as a fantasy litrpg can be. The main character doesn’t instantly become an all-powerful god and murder-hobo his way across the universe. Delve is, at its heart, a progression fantasy, but that progression is meant to feel earned. The numbers in this story actually mean something. Everything is calculated, and if you find a rounding error, I expect you to tell me about it. That said, if math isn’t your cup of tea, there is plenty more that the story has to offer. Characters are meant to feel real, and progression isn’t only about personal power; it’s also about allies, connections, and above all, knowledge. Figuring out how the system works is a significant theme. ... What, you want more details? Okay, fine, but this is going to get a bit spoiler-y. Are you sure? Yes! Really sure? I mean, this summary is practically half as long as the first chap– Now! Okay, okay! The main character becomes a magic user, but he takes a route that is not very popular in adventurer culture, namely that of a support. There is a full magic system with various spells, skills, and abilities, but our MC decides that aura magic is the way to go, and that the only stat worth investing in is mana regeneration. Most people at the Adventurer’s Guild think that this makes him a bit of a dumbass, but he’s playing the long game. We’ll see how that works out for him, won’t we? Because of his build, the MC levels up fast, at least compared to normal people. There are no cheats, though, and he is limited in other ways. There are some clear and pretty obvious downsides to his build. That’s what makes it fun, no? Morals? Our MC has them. Again, we’ll see how that works out for him. Realism, remember? Would you be okay with killing someone and looting their body? I sure hope not. POV? The focus is on the main character, but there will be occasional varying perspectives from people around him, or involved in the events related to the main plot. It isn’t going to jump all over the place. Tech is standard medieval stasis. No smartphones, but the MC does have a technical background. Computers and their programming might be involved. There might even be a bit of uplifting down the road, who knows? Anyway, it isn’t the focus. He isn’t going to invent the gun in chapter 1 and change the face of warfare. Romance is not a major focus. Friendships are more the name of the game, though there will be some characters in romantic relationships. There is exploration, though not as much of the geographical nature as you might expect. It is more about exploration of the system and the culture. The pace is slow and detailed, sometimes verging on slice-of-life. The action is meant to be realistic and grounded in the numbers, and it is intended to have meaning beyond simply punching things until they stop moving. The general tone of the story is grey, and some parts can get quite dark. People die. Sometimes, people with names, but not anywhere near GoT level. There is plenty of light, too, though, to balance the darkness. The world is dangerous, but overcoming that danger is why we’re all here, isn’t it? Anyway, if you’ve made it this far through the summary, you clearly like words. I hope you enjoy the story! Cover by Miha Brumec Summary Updated: 2020-06-14
