Chapter 6, fields and complications

The next day, however, the fever was already settled, Nero was asleep when Maria went to check it. She felt strangely guilty entering as they slept, she went to see Sig silently anyway. Krista had placed the sheet back and stood right next to the patient, Maria wasn't sure but she had the impression that Krista blushed slightly.

"- Maria you're here early" , she whispered as if nothing had happened.

"- Yes I wanted to check the status of Sig and see if Nero was not tired " , she looked in the direction of this one, and added:
