At the left side of the main hall, Selena passed a hallway with 3 portraits hanging on the wall. The end of the hallway looks like a dead end, but at the side Selena pushed the wall and a secret door slid open. A dark and narrow staircase appeared and Selena went down. After a few steps of the dark stairway, Selena raised her legs and kicked something in front of her. It was a door. It opened so suddenly that a girl squeal in shock.
The girl with gentle face and eyes, and have a wavy brown hair. Her bangs hide half of her face and she dresses in a black robe. Her name is Azul Drach Aguilles. A Half vampire and a witch, she is a high tier magician who uses dark magic but also have an affinity for nature magic. Her personality is as gentle as her face, she loves dark places and is one of the great generals of the demon lord. She is also a former healer, because of her nature magic when people back then don't know her identity.
"Aguilles..." Selena's face can't be seen through darkness because there is no single light in the room.
"Eek! S-Selena!" Aguilles turned the lights in panic by flicking her fingers. The lights that illuminate the room are torches flying near the wall, and are a few feets apart from each other.
"I told you to always open the light didn't I?" Selena shows an annoyed face while trying to tell her to always open the lights.
Aguilles hunched back, Selena saw that and sighed. Due to Aguilles' past she can't just trust anyone not even the demon lord.
Selena, the former demon lord, and his wife are the only ones she trusts.
She knows how loyal Selena is and how she protects her friends.

Selena put Grim's body at one of the beds that are near the walls and went beside Aguilles. She patted Aguilles' back.
"Come on Aguilles, I'm not mad, just annoyed. Don't slouch be confident!" She smiled at her while encouraging her.
Aguilles was so happy but also made a worried face.
Selena asked her what's the problem after seeing her making that face.
"Y-you're hands... my head... blood..." Aguilles shyly said.
Selena forgot that he held Grim's body and his guts. Though his body was found at the beach making his body wet from the ocean. The body is still fresh and is still secreting little blood.
"O-oh, you're right sorry my bad." Selena laughs while putting her hand away.
Aguilles turned her eyes to Grim's body and asked:
"What happened. Do you know him?"
Selena shook his head as saying no to Aguilles' question.
"I just found him at the beach near the Whiteshore border with that weird necklace. Also, Gabriel said to stitch him up." Selena said.
"Oh, okay." Aguilles answered. She went to her table at the back corner of the room and grabbed some supplies at the drawer. She also grabbed a chair and sit beside Grim's bed.
Selena gave a puzzled look at Aguilles. "Won't you just use magic to stitch this guy?"
Aguilles smiled while looking at Grim's face and pulled the thread and needle and started stitching while answering Selena's question.
"I felt like I shouldn't. It feels like I know him."
A few moments later Aguilles is almost at the end of stitching when someone yelled and kicked the door.
"Heya! Aguilles! You saw my honey?! Gabe said she came back. Huh? There are lights. That's weir- Ah! My honey!"
A guy with white hair and blue eyes. He is wearing a leather sleeveless clothes, his nails where unclipped, and one of his fangs were showing also one of his ears are also pierced.

"How many times should I tell you that I'm not your honey? Grey." Selena said while making a poker face at the guy who entered.
Grey is a member of Selena's pack he wasn't part of Selena's expedition before due to some injury.
"Hi, Grey! Are your injuries alright now?" Aguilles asked.
Grey gave her a wide smile and nodded he also saw Grim's body at the bed.
"What's that? Tonight's Dinner?" He asked.
Aguilles panicked at what she heard and covered Grim's body like she was protecting Grim while Selena smacked the back of his head.
"You don't have any dinner today you idiot. I told you to rest, look you're spilling at your side. Still doing training even though I told you to lay down!" Selena pointed out the side of Grey's waist spilling blood.
"Also, we still don't know anything about this body it looks like it's half alive." She continued.
"He is alive though, but also dead." Aguilles said, making the other two do a confused face.
"I can feel his soul still clinging to the body. It's a complete and successful resurrection." Aguilles continued while making a mixed sad and relieved face.
"Resurrection?! Are you sure?!" Selena shockingly asked Aguilles and looked at Grim's pale face.
"Then why is he dead? Shouldn't he be alive?" Selena asked again.
"He is alive and also dead. The body is dead, but the soul is still there allowing him to continue walking in this world while having his own will. One thing I want to know is how and who did it. I have been studying dark magic for ages but..." Aguilles stopped.
Selena saw her making a lonely face and hugged her without saying anything.
Grey did not interrupt them. He also knows how hurt Aguilles is right now. He might be an annoying guy but he is considerate and is a good guy.
The three of them stayed like that for a few seconds and left the room.

Rise
20 years have passed since the Chaos Energy Quake rippled through the Milky Way Galaxy. During the year-long Quake, Chaos Energy became unusable, rendering much of the galaxy’s technology useless, and preventing Chaotics – beings who possess supernatural abilities – from using their powers. The galaxy has since moved on from the Quake, but to this day no one knows what could have caused it. The only broadly possible hints lie with the woefully few Chaotics born during the Quake, such as the seven Chaotics born on the world of Nimalia, homeworld of the Nimalian Territories. The other galactic civilizations see little correlation between the Quake and those born during it, but now that the seven have reached the age of 20, some Nimalians think they may be able to finally learn exactly what caused the galactic disruption two decades ago…

The Last Journey
A slice of life litrpg story... or is it? It's burning slow, though. Moving on: War comes with a great cost. Lives and time wasted for most part. One could either be run with sword, be poisoned, be bowed, and sometimes meet their end with just a tiny speck of wood. With magic, it becomes even more colorful. From lightning, to worse poison, to hovering rocks, to weird bladed leaves, to whipping roots, and to a lot more odd things easily reasoned with magic. A wonderful creation. But once used to something more than wonder, more than tricks to gather laughs, it becomes worse. War becomes worse. For there is not only blood to be spilled. A particular town almost met the same end. Soldiers geared with swrords and bows came with mounts. Horses burning lush grasses as it cracked boulders and the soil alike with every step. The kind that only war ones could ever do. Even strange wheeled creations that oozed danger were towed, loaded with something meant to destroy. But not once had they acted upon what such devices should've done, nor what an an army is supposed to do. Siege never occurred, as much as a command to war. No. Magic existed so a simple little fire is all the worth the town has. No sword drawn, no arrows nocked, nothing. Just some mana spent and through the ash they march. That was how Nudius saw her end. It came not even as a surprise. She didn't have the moment to fully register what occurred before she found herself in an empty dark space. Life lost, time spent. All from a fire that had not even touched her. But she knew very well that it was magic. Something she wished to have and strived for to have. Yet it seemed that none of it would matter now. Nudius was well aware of what the color around meant, of the odd situation, of the unfeeling state of her being. It was death and that was it. She didn't have to worry or dream further. Although there wasn't what she truly wanted in what death to her is, but at least, Nudius was comforted to what she believed death is. Rest. But little did she know there's something more than that empty space. It wasn't only the promise of rest, but was also more than she could ever hope for. Another chance at life. Another chance to dream. ***Tags are there just in case. You never know! Umm... HI-MI-TSU. Story blurb+: This is slow burn, quite slice of life story about a girl learning magic. All the while as she fatten herself up. So yeah, progression fantasy. But there's Litrpg! Numbers! Magic! Spells! And of course! There's something more. But read on ahead, please. Oh yes. Plot! There is, too. Disclaimer: The cover isn't made by me. Just layered it with a text. I got it from a free website, if I correctly recall. I'll see to it. (Haven't worked on it.)

Theomancer
My very own first book: I know it won't be perfect, so any constructive criticism would be appreciated. A peculiar reject from modern society ends up as one of the summoned people in another world, but will the premise hold up to the reality of things? only one way to find out! Follow an irascible Darwin's adventures while he pioneers his class in a whole new world, where colors and willpower are two of the most important things, besides respecting the Gods (and avoiding stronger pricks that are just waiting for an excuse to trample someone). -first-person, portal fantasy, litrpg -the cover is my crude attempt with Paint
