Bang!

The room door was broken, and somebody rushed in.

Held on the wrist by somebody, Shen Qingkong felt a vigorous force, pulling her down from the bed. The other people rushing here assisted with the injured Yu Youyou to leave as soon as possible.

“Stop! You stop!” Shen Qingkong struggled at full split, but was held even more tightly. She flustered and inserted her nails into his arm, “Why do you save her! She killed my dad! I have to revenge for my dad!”

“Calm down, Qingkong.” Allowing her to insert her nails into his arm, he tapped her back with his big palms. “According to my investigation, your dad died due to an accident. The court will sentence her some monetary compensation even though you insist on finding out her responsibility.”

Monetary compensation?!

Shen Qingkong could not accept that. This man had no conscience in order to shield Yu Youyou!

“Ah, ah, ah!!” Shen Qingkong screamed hysterically. She rushed over fiercely, to bite the neck of Mu Linxuan.

She hated him so much.

She could not help biting the throat of the man making her dad die unclear of a false charge.

Mu Linxuan frowned due to pains, but still restrained.

Her mouth was full of smell of blood, and her tongue tip felt the taste of fishiness and sweetness. Shen Qingkong stopped biting, which consumed all her strength.

Her body was weak and limp, curling up. Allowing him to hug her body, she cried loudly.

“It’s my fault, Mu Linxuan. It’s my fault. I shouldn’t get angry and quarrel with you. I should not intend to divorce with you. I should not get angry with Miss Yu. I’ll never do them again. I’ll be very good in the future. Please let off my dad. He is old, with heart disease. He cannot bear torment.”

Shen Qingkong’s face was as pale as a piece of paper, and her eyes were red and swollen as nuts. She prayed in a lowly and pity way, “Mu Linxuan, I’ll give my baby to you as long as you give my dad back. I swear I will never meet the baby, or make troubles to you and Miss Yu. Is that ok? Ok?”

Mu Linxuan started at her quietly, with dim eyes, “Shen Qingkong, your dad has been dead. He will never come back.”

Shen Qingkong could not help crying loudly. With grieved pains, she felt the taste of blood and the smell of tears. They were mixed together, leaving her only endless helplessness.

Lying in his arms, she kept shedding tears, as if she would shed tears of the whole life.

Mu Linxuan could not help signing, and lifted her horizontally, and sent her to the master bedroom. He held his cheek in his hands, and wiped her tears with his coarse fingers. He comforted her gently, “Do not cry. It will hurt you and our baby.”

Shen Qingkong lifted her inflamed eyes and stared at the man in front of her. He showed some withered expression in his face, but he was still as beautify and handsome as a god. Shen Qingkong asked in a hoarse voice, “Mu Linxuan, do you really care about the baby?”

“Yes, very much.” He touched her slightly raised lower abdomen with his big hands, and the softness in his eyes could melt the hardest heart, “Qingkong, you will never understand the meaning of the baby to me. See——”

Mu Linxuan took a document from the drawer, and there were bolded characters on it, i.e., the Letter of Assignment of Equity.

It was all the shares of Shen’s Company.

“It’s yours as long as you sign your name on it. I’ll make Assistant Leng deal with all the matters related to Shen’s Company. You will never worry that anybody will damage your dad’s painstaking efforts.”

“No! I don’t want it!” Shen Qingkong tapped on the hand of the man with anger, just like an angry small beast.

Mu Linxuan showed anger in his expression, and stared at her indifferently. He said unemotionally, “Qingkong, I understand that you are encountering with many bad things. I should forgive you in a bad mood as your husband. But you cannot always lose your temper. Do you know that?”
