Natalia recollected the scene she just watched and thoroughly engraved the battle in her mind. The ability to lure in addition to isolating enemy troops then flanking them while making yourself seem like your losing is astounding.
"Xia Fang, please explain this ranking system to me? " Natalia looked eager to learn more.
"Well you have witnessed the power of just 2 cohorts a tribune, and finally a Legion Legate. "
"The Demigod Realm has the basis of 7 Mortal Ranks and 3 God Ranks. Techniques learned here are also sorted into these ranks." Xia Fang replied.
"They follow the order of
Rank 1 Cadet
Rank 2 Legion
Rank 3 Centurion
Rank 4 Prefect
Rank 5 Tribune
Rank 6 Legate
Rank 7 Imperial
Rank 1 Celestial
Rank 2 Emperor
Rank 3 Divine.
Titan
The gods themselves are ranked 3 Divines. As for passing that you are the rank of Titan with capabilities of producing other Titans as children. Rank 3 is the average rank for most of us. This is when you are officially a soldier, though most of the time you might only be participating in skirmishes. The Legate rank is capable of commanding the 150,000 man legion, most of them are the commanders of our legions. Only the Imperials command more then 2 legions but that is only on rare occasions, as for God Ranks they are with a separate division so we'll very likely die before meeting anyone in their ranks. "
"Legate Mikael is an Anomaly in just 20 years he's taken the rank of Legate. Tribune Alexie is rank 5 in just over 40 years which is normal. Most of us average at rank 4 after 30 years and wait awhile to break through rank 5." Sighed Xia Fang.
Upon hearing this Natalia thought Demigods have Exceptional life spans for 40 years old plus to look 18 is insane.

Natalia then asked "how will I rise up ranks Prefect Xia Fang? "
"Easy next year shall be the recruitment of the 1st legions trails. Battle experience outranks everything Natalia. Join war games as often as you can, discipline is key in success." smiled Xia Fang
"Come us prepare for tonight's feast a new legionarie has joined us"
...
Hours later Natalia was sitting on her bunk observing the barracks. On the front of the door around 40 armor racks were arranged and some were empty indicating patrol time. This covered both sides of the door. As for the sleeping area it was divided into ten two level bunks for 20 people while upstairs held the other 20. Of course the elites were stationed at the ground floor to ensure they wouldn't be caught off guard. Then the left side of the barrack was filled with chests and storage lockers each with a name inscribed belonging to the demigod. As for the right a small Mess hall had been setup with tables neatly arranged in rows.
The barracks were empty though it was a common occurrence since all either participated in war games, went to patrol or headed out for the feast.
The double doors of the barracks creaked open followed Xia Fang stepping through. Dressed in black robes her eyes were dazzling while the black seemed to absorb every other color.
"Natalia. Come let's go to the feast the legion is waiting to welcome you. " said Xia Fang
Xia Fang then took Natalia by the hand then waved her off to the courtyard.
The courtyard was blazing with life. An enormous fire around 20 meters was blazing in intense light which bathed the entire campgrounds. Hundred of long tables were neatly arranged in a circle, the campfire in the middle. Thousands of demigods were lining up at the nearly endless rows of food located at the entrance of the campground. The atmosphere itself was blazing with life one could even feel as if the God Dionysus was there. Apart from the tables the surrounding barracks were filled by demigods laughing and cheering. Upon seeing Xia Fang holding Natalia at the entrance the courtyard soon quieted down. All stares look at Natalia with a sort of fear with a trace acceptance.

Natalia upon seeing the thousands of stares couldn't help but fear the feeling of thousands of centurions, perfects, and tribunes. This was an awesome inspiring scene when she saw them quiet down and gaze intently at her.
Xia Fang yelled "1ST LEGION OF HADES WELCOME CADET NATALIA VERGEBEN. SALUTE. "
Immediately there faces turned hardened like they were ready for battle. They all cupped their fists together, bowing to Natalia bellowing "CADET NATALIA VERGEBEN THE 1ST LEGION OF HADES SALUTES YOU. "
Afterwards shocked by the formal greetings Natalia bowed to them saying "I look forward to serving side by side and fighting until death with you. "
The demigods all shook their heads in approval and moments later continued with their parties.
Shortly after a bunch of demigods had come to the pair. Natalia was bombarded with questions about her past life. One such demigod with a scar on his left eye was asking if she had her memories back while another asked what sins she had committed. Xia Fang waved them off like a protective mother would.
"Come Natalia let's go meet your bunk mates"
They walked past the hundreds of packed demigods, in a short time numerous demigods came up asking questions. They soon walked to a table of over 50 demigods most of them woman. Natalia soon notice that each table had a gold plaque with the centuries number. She then noticed a lot of small details.
The plaque read:
1ST LEGION 2ND COHORT 15TH CENTURY
DEVILS SAVAGE HEART.
CURRENTLY 686 ALIVE
HONOR THE FALLEN 2253.
Xia Fang pointed to the plaque noticing her curiosity somberly saying "Once Legate Mikael assigns you your century you will be offering a drop of blood on these plaques. These were gifted by the 3 Fates themselves and serves to show how many of our fallen had died while the living remember them.
The 15th centuries table all looked intently at Natalia waiting for to her stop looking at the plaque. Looking up and realizing all the faces in the table were patiently waiting for her, Natalia felt their generosity towards her and in her mind vowed to always protect them.
A man who was right next to the plaque chuckled "Cadet Natalia have a seat the 15th century won't kill you" he looked like somewhere around the age of 25 or 24 , he held a face that had seen lots of combat, and sorrow but also a hint of happiness. He wore the standard black chest plate of the 1st legion but the skull patch stood out from the rest of the uniformed group. The skull looked to be not of a human but of a bull with a knife running through the eye sockets. It had a black fire surrounding it making it seem like an endless amount of hate had been symbolized.
"Go on Natalia" said Xia Fang with a smile.

Black Wind, White Lotus
In this world, there are haves and have nots. The former are pureblooded humans, some of whom are capable of manipulating qi, the mysterious energy that flows through every living creature, to miraculous results that defy the laws of nature and physics. Wen Feili was one such cultivator. However, she allied with the have nots- the anthropomorphic hybrids incapable of channeling qi-and dabbled in forbidden demonic arts, seeking to change the very composition of reality. This did not end well for her, and she was consumed by her own flames. A decade later, far in the northwestern mountains, her daughter Wen Fengli is working as a lowly servant of the minor Shuangshan sect. In between sweeping the floor and avoiding bullies, she secretly trains with a wooden sword, hoping to become a warrior cultivator at some point in the future. However, since she's part-human, part-wolf, it's just a pipe dream. ....or so she bitterly thought. However, one day a mysterious amulet that belonged to her mother falls into her hands. A deranged old master, a terrible conspiracy, a mysterious past? None of that matters to tomboyish wolfgirl, who only seeks to become stronger. She embarks on a journey of adventure and self-discovery, towards the mysterious southern lands where pure demi-humans are said to live...as spectre of war once again envelops the world of man. This is a Chinese-themed fantasy story set in a fictional world. You can classify it as xianxia, if you wish, but it's a rather low fantasy variant; the heavenly realm is silent, no one reached immortality in generations, and magical artifacts of old are locked away and feared. Magical beasts and spirits have been driven to the corners of civilisation, and "ordinary" abilities such as flying or controlling swords through telekinesis are considered spectacular feats. The main plot of this book revolves around a kemonomimi girl who seeks power, no matter the cost. This story also features multiple character pov, and will not always follow the perspective of the mc- there are two major plotlines, one connected to conspiracy and war ongoing in the political background of the presented world, and the other focusing on the main character's physical and metaphorical journey.
