Sacrificing to the ancestral guardian

The seven star demon sect

After having his child the sect leader and creator of the sect, WeiFeng Li, had the sect elders build a sacrificial alter to to conducts ceremony of joining the demonic path for his child.

Ceremony’s like this weren’t that hard to do but based on what you sacrifice and what you build the alters out of you can earn bigger and better things.

The person going trough with the ceremony wasn’t any random demonic path cultivator but the sect leaders child, so the elders cut no corners with the alter they built. The alter was built fully from a level eight devil beast called the four tailed muskrat.

Devil beast are monster in the Funshi world that are born with sentient minds. From birth they know how to cultivate and are born with strong bloodlines that boost their powers in different ways.

The four tailed muskrat has a unique bloodline that helps it better see the world and travel to places normal people can not. The bloodline secret art it cultivated is called void transference art.

By using the blood and bones of this devil beast you could better connect with other planes and get better rewards. After the elders built the alter and while the blood was still wet the sect leader started the ceremony.

The entity the sect was sacrificing to is called the Ancestral guardian. The guardian is a huge monster that lives in another plane. It only comes down in spirit form and takes sacrifices from those who believe in it and gives moderate to equal rewards based on its mood.

Before every sacrifice to entice the people the entity sends down a list of items they could earn based on how much and what they sacrifice but always at the end of the list there are ungodly things you could earn for things that are impossible to get.

The sect after years of searching it ahold of one of the things the ancestral guardian was looking for. In one of the seven danger zones of the Funshi world, the gloomy forest. In this forest is where most of the devil beast of the world roam.

During a expedition one of the elders spotted a monster that looked like the fabled Phoenix. The devil beast that was found was one of the beasts that were direct descendants of the Phoenix, the burning pheasant.

On the list the third item says anyone who sacrificed a direct descendent of the Phoenix to the ancestral guardian would get to make one request under strict conditions.

After canting for what seemed like forever the sect leader stopped and greeted the guardian.

“Great guardian of endless blood, we have earned a great merit. We have found one of the top three sacrifices you have asked for.”

Said the sect leader in a great voice.

Afterwards the elder brought out the live burning pheasant. Normally a beast with a noble bloodline is that strong to be sealed but this pheasant was already Injured. It looked like it just came out of a great battle and was barley holding onto its life. Sealing it was just for precaution.

After setting the pheasant on the alter, something really odd happened. Instead of like a normal sacrifice, witch you let blood run on the alter. This time after putting the burning pheasant on the alter looked like it melted into the alter no blood, no screams.

It was very odd for the situation. after the pheasant disappeared, they didn’t have much time to think. The ancestral guardian who never talked before finally said something after this sacrifice.

In a hoarse voice the guardian said” GOOD! IF YOU CAN KEEP FINDING SACRIFICES LIKE THIS, I BOUNDLESS BLOOD WILL GIVE YOU MUCH BETTER THINGS. SPEAK WHAT DO YOU WANT, THINK CAREFULLY!”

normally it is really hard to find out the true names of ancestral guardians. Without waiting even a second the sect leader with a smile in his face said what him and the elders picked before.

“Boundless blood I would like for you to give my child your bloodline art blood slave.” This was a smart choice because even though it sounded like he’s making one request,but that’s not true. In reality he’s asking for boundless bloods bloodline and the art.

In this world one cannot use a bloodline without the art and a art without the bloodline. Even if the guardian noticed this he has to follow trough because he already took the sacrifice without asking first.
