Ezra noticed the ball of light too, at first, he wants to move away and dodge this tiny thing but when his instincts told him that it meant no harm, he abandoned this thought and allow it to go near him. He watched in shock as the ball of light slowly submerge inside till it enters his chest completely.

Ezra hurriedly touched his chest but he didn't find anything strange. He also didn't feel anything. A second later, he found himself glowing with a faint light causing him to feel amazed.

'Wait? I should've been bloody because of the way i killed the zombie, But, how comes there is no blood in me anymore?'

Ezra looked at his arms and found it clean. One would know that from the earthquake earlier lots of dust came into his body, then it was multiplied when he traveled all the way to cafeteria passing a lot of fallen walls and dirty rocks along the way. Lastly, the blood of zombie that sprayed into him covers his whole body so the amount of impure substances that sticks to him was something indescribable. But now, every dirt in his body, as well as his clothes were gone, instead he looked like he just took a bath and change into a new uniform.

Everyone is also looking at him this time. The changes in his body didn't go unnoticed specially if he glows like that. So everyone saw that the moment he glows, the blood and other dirts was slowly being cleansed until none was left.

Instead of being afraid, several student's eyes shined when an absurd thought came into them when they saw how he glows up.

Unnoticed by everyone, the class monitor Hikaru slowly went beside Leo and whisper something that only the two of them could hear.

Leo's face suddenly turned dark and gloomy after he heard what Hikaru told him. He roamed his gaze at everyone and found them admiring Ezra. The more he realized this the more angry he become, specially when he found that even Qingyue who usually is colder than ice, is now expressing an expression of respect and praise with a light in her eyes. He clenched his fist very hard and his eyes exert a slight killing intent.

'How dare you! Little bastard!'

When Hikaru noticed his reactions he said something that only the two of them could hear again. The next second Leo who was seething in anger slowly calmed down but his eyes was still staring at Ezra with such hatred.

Hikaru stepped back after this, he fixed his glasses while his mouth was grinning widely and cruelty flashed in his eyes.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"

While everyone is still holding on their own thoughts, a loud scream startled them. The source of the scream wasn't hard to find, not because they became silent when na amazing thing happened in front of them, but because the scream came from the center of attention that they were looking for a long time already.

Ezra, who is still glowing suddenly felt his head ache, like it was being stabbed by a hundreds of needles. He couldn't help but hold his temples and bend down from the pain. The pain intensified after a few seconds causing him to scream loudly even more. Suddenly, he felt that there was something that is being inserted into his brain. A knowledge that he never encountered or never think of in the past, was now forcefully instilling itself onto him.

This process took about a minute before the light subsided and the pain vanished.

When Ezra became aware of his surroundings again, he found himself in an awkard position, his left knee was kneeling in the ground and his head bended in its lowest making it hit the ground while both of his hands were holding onto his head. He was still sweating really hard and was catching his breath, when he remembers the pain that he just suffered his eyes and hands started to shake. It was his first time suffering that kind of torment, he wasn't even used to pain so that feeling was very terrifying for him.

With the help of the knowledge that came into his mind, he observe the changes in his body. His external appearance didn't change at all but he knew, that his strength and speed was increased. He also realized that the slight pain from the injury that was caused by the earthquake earlier magically vanished like he wasn't injured at all, He also found out that he isn't hungry anymore and everything in he was in a best condition. Ezra doesn't know if his reflexes and so on was strengthened and he was eager to test it so he stood up, he jumped a few times and was about to look for a heavy rock when----

"EZRAAAAAAAAAAAAA"

The very first one to react after what he just suffered was Alice, she instantly run towards him to check if he is okay.

"What happened? Hey answer me? Whats wrong with you? EZRAA?"

"Sto-Stop! How the hell would I answer you if you shaked me like that!"

Hearing his words, Alice who was holding both of his shoulders and shaking him hard suddenly realized that what he said is true. She cutely removed her hands and hid it behind her back and pouts a little bit to see how wronged she was even though its her fault to begin with.

But when Alice realized what just happened she suddenly became angry with her hands on her hips she gazed angrily at Ezra while walking nearer stopping only when there is about 3 inches between their face.

"WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU? WHY DID YOU DO THAT? DO YOU KNOW HOW WORRIED I WAS? WHAT IF THAT THING KILLED YOU? WHAT IF SOMETHING BAD HAPPENED?"

Ezra couldn't help but look away guiltily at her scolding. He doesn't have a way to explain himself, would it work if he said the truth that it was his intuition that tells him that he should fight and kill the scary zombie? NO IT WON'T. She won't believe it for sure.

"He-Hey its okay, Aren't I fine---"

Before he could finish what he want to say, he was shocked when several students specially males were running towards him with eager and expectant eyes.

"He-hey! What was that?"

"Yeah right! How did you glow?"

"We're friends right? Come on tell us."

"Maybe he levelled up or something?"

"Did you get stronger? Is there a stats somewhere?"

They were really eager to know what happened to Ezra was the shine in their eyes glows brighter every question asked. Maybe it was because of the influence of some novels, anime or manga that they dream to become a hero after being transferred to another world.

Facing their enthusiasm, He sighed and decided to answer them.

"Alright guys calm down! Like everyone else, I also don't know what happened but I think that i really became stronger, There was something that was inserted in my head and I felt that my strength and speed was increased. I also felt full, and the injuries that i recieve from the chandelier that fell from me during the earthquake earlier vanished."

"Wha-whaaat? So its really like you leveled up something?"

"No, its more like he ranked up! He told us that there is no system and stats so ranking up would be better than levelling up"

"What about skills or spells? Would we be able to get them?"

"Yeah right I want to have a fire magic."

"Maybe there is a system but we still isn't able to unlock it because of the following whatsoever requirements?"

"Or maybe there is a word that should be pronounce like show status or something?"

"Status Open!"

"Show status!"

Ezra didn't tell one important thing, when he was being tortured by the pain earlier, he learned a shocking thing that could destroy their current situation, a so called ability. If he expose it now that their enthusiasm and expectancy reach the top, they might become impulsive and go downwards to try to kill a zombie in the third floor.

Ezra didn't stopped them from fantasizing things and allow them to test it. Although he is sure that systems doesn't exist from the knowledge that came out of nowhere, a system that could show every progress in detail wasn't bad either.

Seeing that a very important part was ignored, Qingyue claps to get everyone's attention. It wasn't that hard with the help of her beauty, they instantly became silent and gave her the attention that she needs.

"According to you, Ezra, You felt full instantly after you killed that zombie? Also the bloods that sprayed onto you vanished was also because of that light that entered you right?"

Qingyue and every females eyes shined when this was emphasized, being clean was one of the most important thing for them so hearing this makes them excited. But Ezra was oblivious to this fact so he shrugged that part carelessly and instead, answered the question about him being full.

"Yeah, thats right. So the answer lies within those monsters, Maybe the more we kill and obtain those lights the less we would feel hungry."

Ezra nodded at her question instantly and emphasizes how important it is to learn how to face their fears. After that, he went to a secluded place and sat down, seeing that he won't entertain any questions anymore, the students gave up bothering him and discussed within themselves, while Ezra, noticed something amiss, the attention seeker bastard who is taking the credits for everything is now behaving at the very back of the students together with the class president. He stared at them for a while but doesn't found anything wrong so he just shaked his head and close his eyes and take a rest, he still need to stabilize his mentality after a ton of pressure that occurred.

Alice, who is scratching her cheeks with a finger in a corner, murmured.

"I think, a made a mistake, I should've cried earlier while scolding him and not acted like an angry girlfriend, That would make my act more realistic by then. Hmmmm. well good thing he didn't noticed! Hehe~"

Alice who recognize her mistakes, instantly blushed after he mumbled those words. Even though it wasn't true, the word 'girlfriend' still makes her heart flutter.

Alice covers her face with both of her hands and sat down.
