Antonio’s PoV

It seems my classmates doesn’t notice my wound when that thing hit me, that’s good. I don’t want them to be worried about me, but still it quite hurts. I sigh as I thought, ‘this day is probably the worst day I have since…’ I shook my head trying not to think about it.

“Hey, Anton?”

Angel looked at me with concern, it seems she didn’t forget I had gotten hit in my stomach. “Hmmm?” I hummed in response.

“Are you oka--” I cut her off by laughing and gave a peace sign.

“I’m alright, don’t need to worry about me missy.” She squinted her eyes at me, oh boy, she was not convinced. I’m I really that easy to read? I tried so hard so that she wouldn’t notice. Besides what can she do about it? We don’t have first aid kits.

Her eyes flashed as she looked at me, “Okay.” I sigh in relief, whew I’m safe.

Then she suddenly poked where the goblin hit me, I winced and take a sharp inhale.

“Alright…you say?” Angel asked displeased knowing I lied to her, “Liar.” She looked away at me and pouted like a child.

“Come on, Angel. I didn’t tell you because I don’t want you to worry about me.” I said to pacify her, She stopped pouting and looked at me.

“Stupid, when you hide your wounds when it hurts worry me the most!”

“Look the lovebirds are fighting, Nick.” Phillip said as he slung his arms around Nick’s neck.

Nick chuckled as his eyes twinkled with mischief, he looked at Phillip and said, “No, looked at them do they look like they are fighting? Its pretty obvious, they are flirting.” Then he acted like Angel around Phillip teasing Angel.

“Stop it guys, we are in the middle of a forest and some thing attacked us! How can you act like nothing is going on!?” William looked at us angrily, then he pointed at me, “And you! Antonio, you keep joking around with aliens when we are in a serious situation. Don’t think I didn’t notice you holding your chest for some time now it was obvious your hurt! Can you just be mature and stop acting like an idiot!?”

“Will…”Angel tried to speak but she was cut off by William as he point at her.

“You too Angel, you played along with Antonio and I thought you would be serious about this!”

Angel lowered her head shamefully.

“Savage!” Nick praised William.

William gritted his teeth, “Don’t get me started Nick!”

“Whatever, come Daniel, Phillip. Lets go there is a hothead around here.”

We walked towards Faye silently since William broke the mood with his anger, I mean I understand him, he was worried since he thought we didn’t take this seriously we might harm ourselves but still by joking around we can take our mind away from panicking.

Damn, that goblin hit me really hard. It still hurt.

William seems to notice it and said, “One our classmates has a first aid kit.”

“Yeah.” Angel was looking at me with worry, I smiled at her while giving her a thumbs up to stop her from worrying.

“You know you need to worry about yourself more.” William whispered at me, “You worry to much for Angel and Angel worry to much for you. I’m envious with your friendship.” Without waiting for me to reply he walked faster leaving me and Angel behind.

When we arrive I saw my classmates looking curiously at the knights, Faye was infront of the knight who was the leader. William walked towards Faye.

“I never heard of this language Will, do you think they can understand us?” Faye asked William, she was confused she was sure even she doesn’t understand what they are saying she would have known what language it is but it seems the language they are speaking is so different from earth. “It is true Will, that we are not on Earth?”

“It seems so, We were attacked by some species that didn’t exist on Earth.” William face turned grim as he thought of something. “The question is, can we go back to our home? If this isnt Earth then.” When our classmates heard William some of our classmates paled and some didn’t believe we are in another world muttering ‘impossible’.

“Don’t worry, lets ask him.” I said as I pointed at the knight who was looking at us. I looked at him and said, “Hey Knight with shinning armor, can you understand me?”

“Anton.” William hissed, “Be serious.”

“I’m just trying to lighten up the mood of our classmates William.” I said while shrugging.

The knight smiled, he said to the man beside him who was wearing a robe. The man who wore the robe nodded and he wave a stick?

“Great, we met some cucoos in the forest.” Muttered Nick as he watched the man waving a stick while saying something we can’t understand.

Daniel chuckled as he watched the man, “I wonder what mental hospital he escaped from.”

Then a blue light came from out of from the stick and covered us, we watched shocked.

“M-magic!” One of our classmates shouted in amazement. The man waving the stick smiled as he looked at our reactions to magic.

The man coughed lightly, “ Do you understand us now?”

William nodded, “We do, Where are we?”

“First things first, my name is Serf Reynfred. We are in the forest of Ethylicus.”

“What is the name of this planet?” William asked, Our classmates listened.

“Planet? What is that?” Serf looks confused, he looked at the man beside him, “Do you know what is it? Keyrs.”

Keyrs shook his head, “Ask them.”

William sighed, “Nevermind, what is the name of this world?”

“Thera.” Serf answered and he added, “We are in the continent of Fippine.”

“Thera? An annagram of earth?” Alice muttered, She looked at Serf, “Um, sir?”

“Yes miss?” Serf said as he looked at her.

“How many worlds are there?” She asked, William looked at her confused to why she asked this question.

William was about to ask her but I whispered to him, “Just listen, you know Alice has knack for mysteries and what not.”

“Is this is a mystery to you?” He whispered back at me, I smiled wryly as I thought, ‘Oh, William you should trust your classmate more since they aren’t stupid.’

Keyrs looked at Alice at amazement, “How did you know about the other worlds Lass?”

Alice smiled shyly, “I guessed.”

“How humble.” Keyrs looked at Alice with appreciation, “I will answer your question lass, This muscle brain right here can’t answer it.” He pointed at Serf while chuckling. “There are nine worlds, Thera is the third one.”

“I see.” Alice nodded her expression was unreadable as if she was answering a problem with no solution.

I walked towards her, “What is it?”

“I know where we are.”

“Really?!?” I looked at her with astonishment, “Are you sure?”

“Not really, it is more like a theory.” She said as she looked at me, “I think we are in a parallel universe. This place, Thera is earth. Remember what he said there are nine worlds? In our solar system has eight planets and a dwarf planet.”

“Well it sounded far-fetched but I believe ya.” I smiled, “ So what’s the problem then if your theory is correct?”

“Us existing here.” She answered, “There can be only one exinstance of our selves so the parallel version of us in this parallel world will cease to exist.”

“That means?”

“We have an identity here, we replaced them.” She said, “But they knew that we are not in this world, they must have been the one who summoned us with a great price since it is particularly impossible to transfer us from Earth.”

She gestured me to wait, I nodded.

She looked at Serf and asked him a question in Spanish. “Can you understand me?”

Serf looked at her, “Keyrs is the magic wearing off?”

“No, it should be permanent. Why is something wrong?” Keyrs answered.

“Then why is--” Alice cut him off while smiling.

“Its still working sir.”

“Nevermind Keyrs the magic worked again.” Serf chuckled as he looked at Alice with interest.

“It seems the language they translated is only English, speak in Spanish.” She said with a grim expression.

“Okay, got it.” Seeing her expression made me serious since this is the first time I saw her like this.

“Cover your mouth, with your hand. Keyrs has magic it is possible for them to listen to our conversation without us knowing”

I followed her instructions but I was confused, why do we need to cover our mouths? Alice noticed my confusion, “The magic of Keyrs is not perfect since they need to know how we move our mouth to pronounce a word in a language. I noticed it, if they could translate a language so easily, they didn’t need to observe us Keyrs would have wave his wand and be done with it.”

“Your smart.” I praised her.

She rolled her eyes, “Oh please, some of our classsmates would have noticed it if they weren’t confused from being transported into an another world.” She pointed at Angel who was looking at Serf, she was frowning. “Look at her, she noticed it too.”

“Anyway, don’t trust them. When our classmates calm down we need to tell them.”

I nodded. All of a sudden I spat a mouthfull of blood, “Ugghh!….”

The last thing I heard is Angel and Alice shouting my name as I lost my conciousness. Damn, it hurts. Fuck that goblin.
