William’s PoV

“Will, where are we?” One of my classmates, Alliana asked me, she’s the tenth of my classmates who asked me the question that even I don’t know the answer.

“I don’t know, from what I gathered by questioning our classmates they answered that all they remember is a bright light then next to that nobody knows.” I answered her nonetheless, and added “ Don’t worry, just try to calm down and enter a group of your friends, I’m finding a way to get out of the forest.

“Un” She nodded and went to her friends, as Alliana leave me I sigh tiredly.

“Will, even though your the representative of our class you don’t have to push yourself hard, your still a student I bet your scared right now aren’t you?” I feel a hand touched my shoulder, I didn’t turn back and I answered.

“I know Jane, but they need something to lean on.” I heard Jane sigh, but I didn’t pay attention to it, Its my responsibility as a representative of the class, why cant she understand that? William Ace Grey, my family or the Grey family has a lot of expectation to me as the son of my father since he had done some great things like becoming the best doctor or a Neurosurgeon if your not familiar with it, this is the definition:

A Neurosurgeons operate on the human brain and body to treat and cure diseases affecting the nervous system and brain stem. They work to alleviate symptoms from serious brain illnesses that cause patients a great deal of physical and emotional pain.

And my family expect me to follow my father’s footsteps or even exceed him, and it is hard as going to heaven itself.

That’s why I enrolled in our school, it has a STEM curriculum, meaning our priorities in learning are Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

All of our us are geniuses well most are I don’t know about Antonio, his stupid sometimes and sometimes not, his grade are all 85% it doesn’t increase nor decrease. He has a dark and lustrous hair, like a fine hardwood. But that comparison isn't entirely fair, I suppose. Hardwood doesn't swish gently like his hair does, swaying with the words he speaks. A shiny varnish catches merely light around it, but the depths of that deep chestnut brown reflected all the radiance of his smile.

The smartest of all our class is Angel Pledge Baker, while I am the representative for the boy, Angel is representative for the girls, her appearance? She has silky-black, shoulder-length hair slightly reveals a worried yet confused face. Glistening gemstone green eyes, set buried within their sockets, as she watch cautiously around the forest, there's something wonderful about her, perhaps it's her attitude or perhaps it's simply her good will. But nonetheless, people tend to become her friend, while secretly admiring her.

Speaking of her, she’s coming here with Antonio…

“Antonio, Angel everything okay?” I called out to them, they walked closer to me.

“Yes William we’re okay, how about our classmates? Are all of us here?” Antonio answered, to be honest I was expecting he would say something sarcastic or stupid or laugh like an idiot. We’re not enemies nor I’m angry at him I always…no we, our classmates always thought that Antonio can’t be serious or reliable because in class he seems to be an air headed and an easy going guy but it seems we were wrong.

“Our classmates are okay, all of us here. Antonio any ideas how we came here?” I asked hoping to get an answer.

“We were abducted by aliens.” He answered, and there goes my respect for him, it seems we were right about him being an idiot. I heard Angel giggled and said.

“I see, so we know now where the bright light comes from.” Angel decided to play along with him. Veins popped at my forehead as they speak.

“Maybe we were experimented and our memories were erased.” Antonio said nodding and smiling like a had a great breakthrough.

Another veins popped at my forehead.

“Un-hun and then they threw us at the forest when they were finished.” Angel added as soon as Antonio finished.

I had enough of it!

“You guys! Be serious we don’t know where in the world are we and you two keep talking about aliens!” I shouted at them angrily.

“H-hey c-calm down William, The first thing to do when your in an unknown place is to calm down, I thought you knew that as the representative of our class.” Antonio said innocently while smiling. Is he trying rile me up because its working perfectly!

“Yeah, yeah! Anton’s right Will, you need to calm down.” Angel said supporting Antonio, I think Antonio is a bad influence to Angel what happened to girl who is reliable and serious when Antonio was not in our class she seems to distance herself but when Antonio transferred into our class, she had change big time, I don’t know what their history though, they don’t really tell about themselves.

“Its very amusing to watch get annoyed you know?” I feel a hand cling over my shoulder. I swatted the hand away looked at the person beside me. He has a blonde, short hair. Pure hazel eyes looking at me with mischief while smirking at me.

“Don’t touch me, Nick.” I glared at him, but he ignored me and he walked to his group. “How rude.” I mumbled as I looked at Antonio I was about to say something when we heard a sound of the leaves being stepped on.

Scratch!

“What’s that? Did you hear it?” Antonio said, while looking around for the cause of the sound. “Angel, step back.”

“Um.” She nodded and she followed Antonio’s instruction.

“What do you think it is?” I asked him.

“An animal I think?” Antonio answered uncertainly he was on guard if something bad would happen. “Since we are in a forest, its safe to assume that there are wild animals. Right?”

I nodded, trying to figure out what kind of animal is it, there’s a high possibility that the animal is a bear or a wolf, based on the sound of the leaves being crushed it should be a big and heavy animal.

“Phew… its gone right? I don’t hear anything.” I said but Antonio shook his head.

“Its too quiet, think about it when it was walking we heard a sound right? And it stopped near the trees, if it had walked away we would hear some leaves being crushed but there’s no sound..” Antonio answered, to be honest his answer made me scared that means the animals are looking at us. I felt a chill in my spine as I thought about it. “William, go back to where our classmates gathered and tell them to be quiet. Understand?” I nodded and walked towards my classmates.

Antonio’s Pov

As soon as William leave, I turned to face Angel behind me.

“Angel, go back to ---” Angel cut me off by glaring at me and said.

“No! I’m not going back. Besides if something happen who would be there for you?” I sigh, I knew she would say that but she is really a ‘troublesome girl’, I was about to answer her when I looked at her face as her eyes widen in fear.

“Antonio! Look out!” She shouted at me, while pointing something behind me.

I looked back and I saw burly and muscled thing… it has a height that stand a few inches shorter than the average human, and their long arms, thick torsos, and relatively short legs give them an almost apelike stature,on its hand as a wooden club it swung at me but its too late to move.

“Oh coconuts!” I felt the club hit me at my back stomach which caused me to cough up blood and I was thrown back by a few meters.

“Antonio! Are you alright?!?” She shouted at me while running towards me.

“Stop! Go back! I’m fine!” I answered her while trying to stand up.

“Ughh!” When I was about to stand up I saw it running towards Angel, without thinking I grabbed a stone and threw at the thing? The stone hit the head of the goblin or whatever that thing is,instead of being hurt it looked annoyed as it glared at me. ‘I’m screwed aren’t I?’

It ran towards me, while running it raised it’s club overhead to strike downward, its movements seems to be predictable so I waited at the right time to dodge.

Dodge!

I move left as soon as it swung down its club at me, and ran towards Angel who had frozen in fear, as soon as she sees me her expression seems to relieve. I smiled at her to make know that I’m fine.

Roooaarrr!

My smile dropped when I heard its voice, as I looked back I saw it chasing me, preparing for a horizontal slash.

“Uh-oh…” I waited for the right moment to duck, as soon as it swung the wooden club I roll on the ground and continue distract it from Angel.

“Antonio! Take this!” Angel throw a thick stick at me, I grabbed the stick in the air, I turn around and stay put as I looked at the thing running towards me as it tried to do a vertical slash I dodged it by doing a side step and I swing the stick hard as I hit its head, rendering it unconscious, I grabbed the club quickly and swung the club to the head of the goblin?

Thud.

Thud!

THUD!

I was about to hit it again when I felt someone hugging me saying.

“Its dead, please stop Anton” I felt her hands shaking as I heard her sobbing. “Please stop…”

“Haaa….haaa… Um…” I breathe heavily as I dropped the bloody club. I patted her head signaling that I’m alright, Angel let go of me as I looked at her and said. “See? When I’m around nobody could hurt you…” I smiled at her.

“Idiot, don’t do anything stupid again.” I-I-idiot? That’s what I get when I tried to save her? Haaahh….

I grinned and answered. “No promises.”

“And by the way, thanks.”

“My pleasure.”

I heard footsteps rushing towards this area, I grabbed the club and make Angel step aside.

And I heard a voice calling my name.

“Antonio, Angel are you alright?!?” I relaxed as I heard William’s voice.

“I don’t know! When your being attacked by some unknown species holding a club, would you still be alright?” I answered as I saw William running with Nick, Phillip, and Daniel.

“Touché, we were attacked too fortunately there are only two of them, Nick’s and John’s group finished them off and we have no casualties.” William answered. I sighed as I heard the news at least nobody got hurt.

“Wow, Antonio you literally crushed your enemy.” Daniel said as he looked at the goblin.

“Yeah, I did that goblin is so troublesome.” I said.

“You name that a goblin? Hmmm… it kinda fits.” Nick agreed, he added. “I don’t think this place is in Earth, I mean that thing didn’t exist at Earth!”

“So, I was right after all!” I exclaimed they looked at me and I took a deep breath and said. “We were abducted by aliens!”

“See? Me and Anton are great aren’t we?” Angel said smugly.

William looked at me and said, “Be serious Antonio! You too Angel!”

Angle and I looked at him and smiled, “We are serious.”

We laughed as William tried to reprimand us by not taking this seriously.

“William!” We heard Faye’s voice as she ran towards us, “Guys! We saw some man wearing amour, we can’t even understand what are they saying!”

“Were coming!” William replied as he looked at us and he nodded.

“What with those guys wearing amour? Did we go back in time?” Phillip asked curiously…

“No, we didn’t go back in time there is no information about the goblin that attacked us, trust me my favorite subject is history.” Daniel said proudly, his clearly happy that he got to share some information. Well done to state the obvious Sherlock.

“Faye said that they can’t understand them right? And Faye is multilingual well that’s ironic.” Nick chuckled as he said that.

“Whoever they are, I hope they aren’t enemies.” I said as we walked towards the area we woke up.”
