Wolf
Two days later
I ignore the massive amounts of pain flooding my system as I focus all of my attention on healing myself the instant the large, scaled monster falls unmoving to the floor.
The stupid frost wyvern damn near tore my entire arm off with its claws!
And if wyverns are already this strong, then just how strong are dragons!? When I read from the forums that the wyverns were a downgraded version of the dragons, I thought that this wouldn’t be too difficult. But what the hell!
Sure dragons are one of the strongest creatures in existence when it comes to physical strength, but seriously!
System Notification
Congratulations!
You are now level 433!
I ignore the notification as I continue healing my wounds with a glance towards the large, blue mini-dragon.
Sapphire suddenly screeches from the entrance to the large cavern before I turn to find her slowly walking towards me with a frostyl in her mouth. The monster is obviously still alive, but I have my doubts that it will stay that way for long. Not considering the light blue ice spreading through its scaly, humanoid body; slowly killing it despite the wails of pain that are occasionally escaping its reptilian mouth.
“Please tell me you’re not planning on eating that,” I mutter before shaking my head and finishing up the last of my healing, finally closing the previously-large gash on my shoulder with a sigh of relief as the pain vanishes.
After rolling my shoulder a little to stretch out the lingering soreness from the wound, I send one last glance at the wyvern’s corpse – ignoring the sudden lack of frostyl screams – before walking up to the mini boss chest and touching it.

Tier 5 Enhanced Frost Wyvern Scale:
This scale can be used in forging to increase the overall physical resistance of a Tier 5 or lower set of armor by 10%, while also granting the armor a minor resistance to the ice element.

“Oh?” I mutter with some surprise.
That’s odd. The last Tier 5 crafting material I got didn’t have any magical resistances.
I turn back to study the wyvern’s corpse for a second before shrugging and turning towards the floating blue scale.
It’s probably just because the wyvern was a much stronger monster than the ones that dropped the other Tier 5 crafting materials. Both in levels, and in natural strength.

I reach out to grab the scale before focusing on the exit as I feel Sapphire begin to climb up my leg towards her usual place on my shoulder.
“Wait…” I mutter whilst sending Sapphire a strange look as she cleans the blood off of one of her legs. “Did you really eat that thing?”
Sapphire just raises her head with a slight tilt towards me before continuing her cleaning job without giving me any sort of response.
I stare at her for a few seconds before shaking my head, deciding not to ask about what happened to the monster’s body after she shrunk down to this size. It’s not like she could give me a straight answer anyways.
Putting Sapphire’s evening ‘snack’ aside for the moment, I reach out and touch the exit before closing my eyes at the bright green flash of light.
As soon as I enter the fortieth floor, a powerful wave of wind and snow knocks me slightly off balance before I regain it by digging my feet into the snow on the ground.
“Ho-” I start, only to get a mouthful of snow that I immediately begin to cough out.
Without any hesitation, I manipulate the ice element in my surroundings to force the snow away from me so that I can breathe clearly. After catching my breath, I raise the soundproofing on my headphones to block out the loud roar of the blizzard around me.
“That’s a lot of snow,” I mutter to myself as I take in my surroundings, having to resort to using the senses that come along with my ability just to see what’s in my surroundings.
A few seconds pass before I frown.
This floor has even less actual geography than the other floors of this theme! There isn’t even any mountains or hills! It’s nothing but flatland, covered in deep layers of snow for as far as my senses can reach!
I focus on the small, sharp shards of ice flying around within the blizzard before muttering, “I pity the people who don’t have my powers on this floor.”
The shards were too small for them to even scratch my armor, so I didn’t notice them while I was in the middle of the blizzard.
My attention turns towards Sapphire as I hear her let out a cute sounding screech after having regained her balance from the initial blast of wind and snow.

A smile replaces the frown on my face before I say, “Let’s go see what monsters are on this floor.”
Arcadian Live
Within the enormous stadium that makes up the Arcadian Live viewing room, ten large screens can be seen floating around, moving from place to place, with one of them being blacked out. At the same time, one larger screen remains stationary at the center of the stadium. Above each of the first ten screens is the name of one of the top ten Competitors within the Administrator Dungeon in terms of following, with several details about them right below the name.
The screen at the center of the stadium stands with a border of raging flames all along its edges, with the name and details for the current forerunner displayed above it in a deep red color.

“The Winter Wolf has finally reached the boss floor!” Mikaela shouts as he spreads both of his arms out with a large smile on his face. “Who is excited to see the boss of this theme!”
A deafening roar erupts from the millions of people within the audience.
‘Almost ten million viewers!’ Mikaela’s smile grows, stretching all the way across his face. ‘And to think that, before Wolf showed up on our show for the first time, we didn’t even have a million viewers.”
He turns around to look at the forerunner screen as the audience continues its roars of approval behind him.
‘At the rate this is going, the kid might actually gain the full support of the Arcadian Magic Association just through his occasional appearances here,’ Mikaela thinks with a light chuckle before turning to look at the various commentators spread throughout the air of the stadium as they commentate on the nine other screens.
He watches the show’s new setup for several minutes before turning his attention back onto the forerunner screen as he shouts, “Who wants to bet on whether The Winter Wolf will survive the dungeon!”
The audience grows even louder at this before millions of shouts of agreement begin to fill the entire stadium.
Mikaela grins before messing with his menus as the shouts continue to grow in number.
After a few minutes, he claps his hands, causing a loud boom to resonate throughout the entire stadium before a large menu appears in the sky.

Before Mikaela even finishes speaking, the statistics for the bet listed on the menu rises constantly as the many viewers present ignore him to join the bet.

Unfortunately for Samuel Erasi Fuller he found out that no amount of video game knowledge can prepare you for a world of skills, attributes and magic and even his top notch survival skills only go so far when there are beasts that shoot fireballs or move like a bolt of lighting. Worse yet there are no levels of skills just a name and description and a percentage display! Edit: Yes the poorly done cover is my personal work. Drawing anything using your finger and an app on your phone was not as easy as the tutorial made it look!
