《[Kengkla x Techno] Unfinished Business (Love by Chance Fanfic)》Chapter 9 - Part 1

Kengkla doesn't like people.
It's nothing personal. If it were personal, he could muster up something more specific. But he learned years ago that individual relationships aren't worth his time, don't offer enough amusement or value to be worth the frustration of trying to sustain them.
There's no need to form a relationship. Yet, he's willing to do anything to win Techno's heart. It may take months, might even take a year, but it doesn't matter. But Kengkla is willing to wait. He's willing to pretend he cares about Techno's friends. He puts up with Can, ignores Good, and talks with Champ, but pretending to be nice to Type is almost impossible. Everything about him annoys Kengkla.
He had to stop himself from cheering when the other fell and twisted his ankle. It's was wrong to be so happy about someone's misery, but he never thought of himself as a nice guy in the first place. Yet, he played his part well, pouting and frowning until Techno took pity on him.
Type's ankle was sprained. Kengkla was familiar with first aid, considering his family's pharmaceutical business, but Techno was the one to confirm it with his experience as a captain. It was torture for Kengkla to sit through Techno wrapping up Type's ankle and helping him get comfortable on the couch, but he pushed through it, plotting what to do.
He's putting his plan into motion when he walks into Techno's room, glancing around at the generic beach-themed decor. The door is open to the bedroom, which he shuts behind him, but the connected bathroom is locked. The sound of spraying water can be heard behind the locked door, and Kengkla smirks to himself as he takes a seat on the bed. His eyes scan the room, and he notes Techno's clothes and backpack scattered across the room.
Once everyone calmed down about Type's ankle, Techno ordered Champ and Can to go get pizza a few blocks away while Good kept Type company. Technic was nowhere to be found, but Kengkla gave Techno the excuse, "He mentioned something about getting dessert" then quickly texted Technic to pick up snacks on his way back.
Then Techno said he wanted to take a shower to get rid of the sand and water, and Kengkla agreed. But his shower only took a few seconds in the guest bathroom before he snuck into Techno's room, waiting for him.
When Kengkla hears shower shut off, he looks up from the floor at the door in anticipation. There's the sound of someone moving around inside for a few minutes before the handle turns, and Techno appears through the door, toweling off his damp hair. He's dressed in a white robe that's tied securely around his waist, and when he sees Kengkla, his eyes widen and mouth flies open. "Ai' Kla," Technos gasps, and Kengkla can see embarrassment flicker crimson across the other's cheeks.
Techno glances at the closed door then back at Kengkla who looks away from him at the floor. He puts on his best beaten-puppy expression and stares down at his shorts. "P'No, I came to apologize again," Kengkla mutters, softly enough that even Techno a few feet away will barely hear him.
"Is that it?" He hears Techno mutter sarcastically. "Why did I have to wear a robe?"
Kengkla tries not to laugh and bites the inside of his mouth, keeping his expression mournful. "P'No, I am so sorry," He says and glances up to meet Techno's gaze, offering a frown. "I really didn't mean to let P'Type fall and get hurt." If it was on purpose, Type wouldn't have a clue that it was Kengkla. Instead, Kengkla was accused right away.

"Ai' Kla," Techno says, biting his lip while tightening the robe across his waist. "Can't we talk about this later? It's okay. I know you didn't mean to." He laughs awkward and forced with an expression that Kengkla thinks is almost begging. If only Techno was giving him that look in another situation.
He doesn't know how much longer he has until Type gets curious and sends Good after them, so he forces himself as hard as he can until his eyes are wet, damp with the salt of forced tears. "Please don't leave me, P'No," Kengkla says, lifting his arm to rub against the damp at his eyes.
"Ai' Kla, don't cry. Don't cry. You're practically a man—shit, why are you saying that?" Techno's voice is resonant with panic, and Kengkla blinks his vision clear to see Techno staring at him. His cheeks are flushed and eyes soft with concern when he crouches down on one knee on the floor so he's level with Kenkla on the bed.
When Techno reaches out to press his palm on Kengkla's leg, Kengkla almost loses his composure, mouth dropping open in shock. "It wasn't your fault Ai' Type hurt himself," Techno says with a soft smile, staring up at Kengkla on the bed. "Tell P' why you're crying.'
Kengkla's gaze drops to the white robe hugged around Techno's frame, the white of it draped over the soft tan skin underneath, no doubt still dripping wet from the shower. For a brief, insane moment, Kengkla imagines dropping the act and pushing Techno to the ground, pulling the robe open. Techno would struggle, certainly, would yell at Kengkla to stop; but Techno has never fought too hard.
Instead, he stares at Techno with a frown, lip quivering from crocodile tears still dripping down his face. "P'No will leave me just like my parents," Kengkla answers, and his voice is choked and pathetic.
"What?" Techno blurts, his eyes going wide with concern as he slips his hand off Kengkla's thigh. He sits back on thighs and pulls tighter on the robe as if he could almost read Kengkla's thoughts about taking it off.
"My parents ignore me, P'No," Kengkla says, wiping at the tears with the fabric of his shirt, digging his cheek into his shoulder. "They don't notice when I'm not there. They've never met my friends. And they don't care about my grades. They hate me."
Techno's still staring at Kengkla, his eyes still wide with shock. Then after a moment—"Ai' Kla," Techno says, blinking like he's trying to reorient himself in reality. "Don't say that. You parents don't hate you." He reaches across to grab at Kengkla's hand this time, fingers loosely wrapped around his wrist. "They're just busy --I'm sure. They have important jobs, right? Maybe you should...I don't know. Tell them, maybe?"
The fingers around Kengkla's wrist feels like a brand, heat rushing to the surface of his skin to meet the other's touch. "Yes, P'," Kengkla says, and means it, even though it's all an act. "But... my parents are getting a divorce. They're leaving me, P'No."
Techno's next movement is unexpected. He bends his head down to rest his forehead on Kengkla's hand, almost bowing down in front of him between his legs. Techno lets out a loud sigh, and Kengkla stares down at the back of the other's head. His entire body freezes. heart pounding loud in his chest. Kengkla's not sure whether it's from arousal at this sudden position or from shock.

There's a heartbeat of time where Kengkla wants to do something but doesn't. He relishes in Techno's consensual touch until the other looks up at him, mouth drawn into a frown too soft to turn his eyes to anything but with concern. "I'm sorry, Ai' Kla," Techno says, his voice catching in the back of his throat. "I don't know what to say."
His hand pulls away again, leaving Kengkla to blink in confusion while Techno pushes himself off the ground to stand. He pulls the robe tighter around his chest then sits down next to Kengkla only a few inches away on the bed. Techno's legs are crossed while his hand rests on the bed, leaning his weight to the side.
They're far closer than Kengkla thought Techno would ever sit next to him. He stares the red flush on Techno's cheeks and the droplets of water still drying across his neck. Kengkla knows he shouldn't keep looking, but he can't help himself as he watches Techno's throat flex when he swallows. "P' is here for you," Techno says, and Kengkla can hear the sincerity in his voice, can feel it when Techno reaches out with his other hand to touch Kengkla's shoulder.
The touch flickers heat into Kengkla's veins, and he reaches up to wrap his fingers around Techno's on his shoulder, clutching his hand. "As my boyfriend, right? P' will always be here to support me. Never leave me, right?" Kengkla ask, and leans in closer to Techno next to him Techno tips back immediately,
"Uh-uh," Techno stutters, sounding utterly shocked, his eyebrows arched high on his face, but he doesn't pull his hand away. "Y-yes, I guess."
Kengkla can't help the smile that tugs at his mouth. "That makes me so happy to hear, P'No," He cheers, dropping Techno's hand to slide his own down to fit his arm around against the dip of Techno's waist. He tugs Techno in closer by slipping his other arm around Techno's back, pulling him into an awkward hug. With Kengkla's face so closer to Techno's hair, resting on his shoulder, he could take in the smell of the other. It's the same scent, as usual, so he wonders briefly if Techno brought his shampoo from home.
Techno's breath rushes out of him in a shocked exhale Kengkla can hear. Even though he stiffens at first, Techno relaxes after a few seconds and even reaches up to place his hand on Kengkla's back, patting him gently. He chuckles awkwardly. "I —uh can't promise —"
Techno stops mid-sentence at the sound of a door slam shut and freezes with his hand resting on Kengkla's shoulder blade. Kengkla glances at the door and listens to the sound of muffled voices. Can is audible even down the hallway, along with Champ who's meeting the others volume to speak over him. There's the low timber of Type's voice joining them, and Techno begins pulling away, sliding his hand off Kengkla and untangling his arms. But when Techno leans back and away, Kengkla reaches between them to slyly pull on one of the ties, undoing the top of the robe.
As he leans back away from Techno, Kengkla's gaze falls unavoidably to the expanse of bare skin in front of him. Techno's robe was slipping down his shoulders, revealing flushed wet skin for his hungry eyes to view. It's still drying, droplets of water falling down from Techno's chest to his exposed nipples. But what sparks Kengkla's arousal the most are the fading bruises along the bottom of Techno's neck.
Kengkla's heart skids, his breathing stalling on the memory. He's surprised no one noticed earlier when Techno was shirtless in the water. Perhaps no one was close enough, or he was mostly underwater. He doesn't really care if anyone saw or not, but Techno is very cautious. Kengkla wants Techno right now, wants to taste salt sweat and soap on his lips.
Then Techno takes a breath, and Kengkla can feel the moment evaporating even before Techno says, "Sounds like they're back," He says with a forced laugh, and Kengkla glances up to meet his gaze just as Techno look down at his undone robe. There's a gasp from Techno's lips, and he reaches down to pull it tight over his chest, but Kengkla is faster, grabbing Techno's wrists with one hand.
"P'No, please," Kengkla attempts, but he's losing what grasp he ever had on his resistance. He finds Techno's gaze and stares up at him with a pout, a stark contrast to Techno's fearful expression. He doesn't answer Kengkla, cheeks flushing dark with color, but his fingers wiggle in his grasp.
Kengkla tightens his hold around Techno's wrists and leans forward to press his face against Techno's neck, inhaling the familiar bite of the other's scent. Kengkla can't resist the draw of it, can't hold himself back.
Techno's skin is faintly slick with sweat and water as Kengkla presses his lips against the others throat. He hears the breathless rush of air from Techno and smiles. "Ai'Kla," Techno gasps, tugging his wrists. Kengkla can feel the others heart rate spike when his lips suck against the tremor of Techno's pulse. Kengkla's body is hot, skin flushing warm with satisfaction, and Techno is stiffening under his touch.
He takes this as an opportunity to linger and begins nipping at the skin with his canines up Techno's neck. This gets him a hissed, "Ai' Kla, shit, no more m-marks," in response, and Techno leans away from Kengkla, enough that Kengkla's practically leaning over him. It's inevitable when Techno's back hits the bed, eyes widening by a fraction, expression going slack with surprise. His cheeks are flushed with his plastered to his forehead.
Kengkla was ready for this maneuver. He lets his hold on Techno's wrists go so he can swing his leg up and over to straddle the others lap before Techno has a chance to react. "Ai Kla," Techno whisper-shouts, staring up at Kengkla looking vaguely disoriented from his sudden movement. "What are you doing? I thought you were —"
"P'No said he's here for me," Kengklas purrs as a response and lowers himself down closer to Techno with one hand pressed against the bed beside Techno's head to hold himself up. "Right?"
But he doesn't wait for Techno's response, dipping down to opens his mouth against Techno's bare chest, parting his lips to exhale heat against the other's skin. Above his head, Techno's lungs empty into a gasp. "Wait," Techno orders, lifting a hand behind Kengkla's head to pull at his shirt neck. But Techno's back is flexing, body trying to press itself closer to Kengkla's mouth.
Kengkla moves his head, as much as he can with Techno pulling on his shirt. He licks up to Techno's collar bone, trailing out a path across Techno's wet skin. He's surprised Techno isn't fighting harder with the possibility that his friends could be on the other side of the door; then he feels Techno's cock hardening underneath the robe. It may be slipping off his shoulders, but he's still covered below.
"P' is hard," Kengkla whispers, laughter almost breaking free in his voice. He's tilting his head up to meet Techno's gaze as he laps at the other's neck. He slides his free hand down Techno's chest, trailing his fingers down the other's torso to slide over the loosely tied robe. His fingers fit against the resistance of Tecno's cock through the fabric, his palm pressing hard against the heat.
Techno's mouth gapes open at the touch, and he slides his hand off Kengkla's neck, covering his face with his arm."Ah, shit," He blurts, but it's not loud enough for Kengkla to worry."Ai Kla, d-don't touch- the guys just-." Kengkla pushes down harder, and Techno's eyelashes flutter, and his hips jerk reflexively forward.
He leans up to hover his mouth next to Techno's ear, breathing hot against the skin there. "P' doesn't seem like he wants me to stop." Kengkla pushes in harder, tensing his fingers against the line of Techno's cock. He hears Techno gasp underneath his arm, but he can't see Techno's face with his arm in the way.
Kengkla can feel himself get harder as if his arousal is linked to the sound in Techno's throat. "We can be quiet, right?" He asks, and then, in a spill of unfettered honesty. "Please, P'No."
When Techno slowly removes his arm from his face, he looks even warmer than he feels, like the glow of heat in the room is only there to color his cheeks as pink as his mouth. Then Techno bites his lip, and it seems like he's actually considering it. Kengkla can feel his heart skip in his chest.
Then there's the sound of a knock, and Techno takes a breath as Kengkla whips his head to the side, glaring at the door adjacent to them. Getting interrupted with Techno is quickly becoming a pattern. Kengkla can feel the temptation of anger curling up his spine and draws his hand off Techno, sitting back on his thighs with a frown.
"Ai' No, you in there?" It's Champ's voice.
Kengkla's staring at the door when he hears Techno clear his throat. "Yeah, Ai' Champ. B-be out in a second. Just getting dressed." Techno's voice is raw and straining on the words.
"All...right," Champ answers, but Kengkla can hear the uncertainty in his voice. "I haven't seen Ai'Kla. Have you? He wasn't out here with Ai'Type and Ai'Good." There's a tremor that runs down Kengkla's spine in a moment of panic, and he turns to face Techno.
Techno's expression is tight with concern; his arousal has evaporated like it never existed. He meets Kengkla's gaze for a second before turning his face to the side, staring at the door. "Ai' Kla is probably around here somewhere. Big house, easy to get lost," Techno snaps, his voice gaining enough coherency that's it's convincing. "I'll find him. Just go make sure Ai'Type doesn't kill Ai'Can."
There's a bark of laughter from behind the door. "All right, all right," Champ says, and his voice trails off.
Techno lets out a sigh once Champ's footsteps get quieter and glances up at Kengkla with an awkward expression then looks away. "Uh- Ai' Kla, we should probably leave?" He suggests, tapping on the bed with his fingers. His eyes are darting around the room, everywhere but on Kengkla. "Can you..like...get off?"
Kentkla wants to kiss him, wants to shove the robe off Techno until the other is laid bare for his appreciation. But he can't have Techno right now. Soon though, his mind provides him, and he forces himself to frown. "P'No," He cries out and leans down to press his forehead against Techno's shoulder, breathing in the other's scent. "I'm so sorry. I almost got us in big trouble. I'm sorry. I can't control myself around P'."
Techno's body stiffens, his shoulder going tense like Kengkla's touch is electrifying him. For a moment, Kengkla wonders if Techno can see through his lie, but then there's a touch at Kengkla's head, the weight of fingers patting at his hair. He smirks from where Techno can't see him.
"Don't cry, Ai' Kla," Techno tells him, the statement voiced with a pure gentle tone. "No crying, okay? Just-let's go. You head out first, and I'll leave later. I'll handle the others. Don't worry." It seems Kengkla he isn't the only one capable of forming a plan. He wants to comment on Techno sudden admission of planning to lie but knows he can't.
When Techno retracts his hand from Kengkla's hair, Kengkla leans up to stare down at Techno with an unvoiced sigh, hesitant to let him go. Pretending to wipe tears from his eyes, Kengkla rubs his cheek with the back of his hand and nods his head. "Okay, P'," He replies, his tone deliberately mournful, as he pushes off of Techno and maneuvers himself onto the bed to sit beside Techno.
He watches Techno sit up and pull the robe back over his shoulders, face flushing bright red once more. His fingers pull the strands to tighten it around his waist, and he stands up, clearing his throat. Kengkla lets a grin tug at the corner of his mouth for a second until Techno glances at him. Then he's back to frowning and stands up next to the other. "I'll be okay, P'," Kengkla tells him. "I'll tell them I got lost like you said."
Techno laughs with the kind of bright amusement that sounds like music to Kengkla's ears. "Ai' Kla, it's hard to imagine you lying," He explains. "Jeez, it sounds impossible." He makes a tutting noise and crosses his arms over his chest
Kengkla fights hard not to laugh. "It's my fault, P'No. I'll be okay," He says with a nod then walks past Techno toward the door. As he's exiting the room, Kengkla doesn't look back before leaving, can't face Techno while he's smirking.
...tbc...
