《[Kengkla x Techno] Unfinished Business (Love by Chance Fanfic)》Chapter 6 - Part 2

Techno's plan was to wait for Kengkla to leave the bus when they stopped halfway, but ten minutes before they come to a stop, his plan flies out the window. He didn't exactly plan to need to use the bathroom so terribly. But by the time the bus pulls into the rest stop, Techno's already gripping the back of Can and Good's seat with white knuckles. He still has his headphones on but can see Kengkla talking. Thankfully, the other left him alone for the entire ride over. When Techno dared to glance at him a few times, Kengkla was either staring out the window or playing on his phone. This is the first time he's tried to talk.
Techno rips out his earphones. "What?" He asks and shoves the chords into his pants pocket.
"I asked if you were okay, P'No," Kengkla repeats with a concerned expression.
He really doesn't want to deal with the junior's constant questions right now. "I just need to use the damn bathroom," Techno grumbles as the bus came to a stop, and he jumps out of his seat, waiting to see if anyone else would exit.
"Please return to the bus in fifteen minutes," The driver instructs over the intercom. Techno lets out of a groan while the passengers in the front begin filing out of the bus. He sees Type stand up, but Champ remains in his eat.
"You heading inside?" Techno asks, pointing at the exit.
"I'm staying," Champ speaks up, leaning over his seat a bit to meet his gaze.
Techno nods, looking away from Type and Champ to watch the passengers a few seats ahead stand up and walk toward the exit. "I've had to piss for like fifteen minutes already. I'm dying here," He complains, slamming a fist to the back of Can's seat.
Can quickly stands up to face him with a frown. "P'No, don't hit my sit," He snapped. "You could've hit my head!" Techno ignores him.
It's then Type's row can finally exit, and Techno glances briefly at Kengkla before it's his turn. "I'm coming too, P'," Kengkla informs him once they make eye contact. With the same smile, he stands up next to Techno, thigh brushing together from the movement. The touch surprises Techno, and he feels himself stiffen. He doesn't know what Kengkla wants to do inside the rest stop, but Techno was hoping for at least a few minutes of alone time.

"All right, well, see ya'," Techno tells Kengkla, shrugging his shoulders, willing himself not to think on it further. Turning back to face forward, he sees Type and Can exiting the bus and follows after them, leaving Kengkla behind.
The rest stop is composed of two bathrooms, a small convenience store, two quick dining restaurants, and a large waiting area. It only took Techno a few minutes to use the restroom, so once he exited, there was still around ten minutes left of waiting.
He spots Type and Can right away. They're entering the convenience store when Techno catches up to them. "Hey, Ai' Can, Ai' Type," Techno calls out, and the two turn around to face him. Can is smiling while Type just stares at him blankly. "We only have a few minutes left, you know?"
"Duh," Type says, tearing his gaze from Techno to glance up and down a wall of snacks.
Can crosses his arms. "We know, P'. It's enough time to buy food, right? P'Type?" He says, smiling growing to a grin. When Can turns away from Techno, he walks up behind Type and pokes him. "Right, P'Type? You said you'd buy me something."
Type doesn't react to the touch, doesn't look at Can as he grabs two bags of snacks off the wall. "Yes, Ai' Can," He sighs.
Techno laughs loudly. "A' Type, really? Why are you buying this Ai' Monkey snacks? I swear he's not as broke as he acts. Just look at his fancy new phone," He teases the two, following Type and Can as they head toward the cash register.
Type and Can stop behind a line of people. "Leave my phone alone, P'No. I'm on a payment plan," Can whines, shaking his head. "Stop reminding me of shit." Techno wishes Can made sense, but he never does, even when Techno tries to understand. He gives up on asking what Can's talking about and just rolls his eyes.
"Ai' Can cried until I gave in," Type chuckled, tossling Can's hair. "He's so whiny."
Can immediately makes an annoyed sound and tries to step away from Type's touching, slapping at his hands. "I didn't cry, Ai' jerk," He says loud enough that the few people in front of them glance in their direction.

Techno quickly puts a hand on Can's shoulder and pulls him closer. How embarrassing. "All right, you didn't cry," He soothes, slipping his free hand over Can's mouth. "Just don't yell, Ai' Can. We have to ride a bus with these people. Jeesh." He pulls his hand away from Can's mouth, not willing to risk the other won't bite.
"I'll shout if I want to," Can cried, voice just as loud as before while he pushes at Techno until there's space between them.
Type laughs and shakes his head, stepping up to the counter. "Not if you want me to buy snacks," Type tells Can and shakes the bag of snacks in front of him, hovering the bag just above the counter.
The girl behind the cash register seems amused, smiling at the display. Techno feels slightly less humiliated, but the people behind them start snickering, causing Can's cheeks to flush red. "Fine," Can pouts, looking away from Type toward the door. "I'll wait in the bus quietly. But you better bring me snacks, P'Type."
Can leaves them to stomp toward the exit, and Type's shaking his head, waiting as the cashier rings up the snacks when Techno turns to look at him. "Why is he on our team again?" Techno jokes once Can is far enough away.
"He's actually a decent player," Type sighs and digs into his pocket, pulling out his wallet. "Just doesn't know when to shut his mouth."
"Two hundred baht please," The cashier interrupts with a smile.
Type nods politely, swiping his credit card through the machine and handing one of the snacks to Techno. He plucks it from Type's hands and examines the packaging. He lets his mind wander about how many calories are in the snacks while Type finishes the transaction. It's only when Type begins to walk away that Techno looks up and shouts, "Hey," then follows him.
"What's up with you today, Ai' No?" Type asks once Techno falls in line with his stride toward the door. The question catches Techno by surprise. When Techno looks over, Techno's offering him a raised brow and a frown. "You're being weirder than normal."
Techno snorts. "Weirder than normal, my ass," He mumbles under his breath as he turns away from Type's gaze, watching the door as they approach.
But Type doesn't drop it. Once they walk through the doors to the outside, he grabs Techno by the arm and stops him from heading to the bus. Techno glances up at him with wide eyes until Type let's go, frowning with concerned eyes. "Come on, tell me," Type insists.
There's no way he was telling Type the reason he's acting so weird. That conversation won't go well. He could just picture it now. "Hey, you know that kid who always hangs out with my brother? Yeah, the good looking one with tons of money who's way younger than me. Turns out, I took advantage of him that night we got wasted. Then he told me I had to take responsibility, so now I'm his damn boyfriend. You know, I've never liked guys, right? And the damn kid won't stop following me around. He keeps trying to kiss me and touch me. He's the first person I've done anything with, but he's a guy! And the worst part is that my body responds to it! He actually makes me feel-" He's having this fake speech in his head when Type grabs him by the shoulder, shaking him back to reality.
"Ai' No, stop staring into space and answer me," Type sighs and takes his hand back.
