《[Kengkla x Techno] Unfinished Business (Love by Chance Fanfic)》Chapter 3 - Part 3

Kengkla doesn't reply. With no sign of Type, he follows in Techno's trail to the dressing rooms, walking around the wall blocking the rest of the store. There's a line of doors that lead to a smaller room inside each, and a girl in uniform stands at the front of the hallway, near a rack of returned clothes.
He has to reach for the smile that uncurls itself across his face. "Excuse me," He says softly, and the girl's head snaps up to stare at him, red flushing across her cheeks.
"Swadee, P. Would you like a room?" She asks politely.
"No, thank you," He answers with a purr and reaches into his pocket, taking out his phone. "Just your number."
She gasps, covering the smile on her face with her hand, and Kengkla looked past her to see if Techno left. After quickly exchanging numbers and fake flirting on his hand, he takes a few steps closer to her. "My brother just went in one of those rooms. I want to make sure he's okay since he was feeling sick. If he's trying on clothes, it may take a bit," He lies.
The saleswoman nods. "Number five," She answers with a smile, pointing at one of the doors.
Kengkla nods a thank you and walks right past her to the door that has a large five above it. There's a shuffling noise coming from the inside and feet visible from the space between the floor and the door. "P'No," He calls out softly, knocking on the door with his knuckles. "Are you okay?"
"Ai' Kla?" Techno squeaks then there's the sound of something falling. When Kengkla glances down, Techno 's phone was on the floor, but it's not shattered. Kengkla quickly bends down to swipe it off the floor where it slid under the door.
Techno chuckles awkwardly. "I'm okay," He says, making more noise as his feet shuffle. "Did you just–" He cuts himself off and laughs again. "Ai'Kla, can you hand me my phone? I think it just fell."
When Kengkla speaks, it's soft, coated with sugar. "Open the door, and I'll give it to you, P'."
There is a long pause, and Kengkla can feel his patience slipping until he hears the knob unlocking. His heart thrums hard inside of his chest when the door swings open, revealing Techno standing in his jeans and a white tee shirt.
His gaze trails down Techno's face to the side of his neck, and he stares at the motion of the other's throat work when he swallows, can see the faint suggestion of bruised-in color from his own teeth pressed hard into Techno's skin. Kengkla can all but feel his mouth water.

There's satisfaction in the view of it, an unsubtle reminder of last night's activities. But there's annoyance there too. The marks aren't dark enough, not big enough to peak through when Techno has his sweatshirt on. He can't help but want to mark the other up for everyone to see, for everyone to know he's unavailable.
But Techno's stares at Kengkla as if he has no idea of how he looks, of the picture he makes Then again, he really might not; it wouldn't be the first time. "Hey, Ai' Kla," Techno says and lifts his hand in an awkward wave. "My phone?
"I have it, P'," Kengkla says, stepping forward until he has one foot in the room. "Are you okay?" He holds out his hand with the phone.
Techno looks away, over Kengkla's shoulder to view the hallway. There's no one coming, Kengkla knows. He made sure of it. "Yeah, I'm fine," He answers, but his words say the exact opposite. He reaches out to grab the phone from Kengkla, but Kengkla snatches his hand away, holding it to the side. This gets him a laugh from Techno, but it's likely forced.
"You said you were sick," Kengkla says lowly, stepping in closer than he probably should with the door open.
The sudden proximity makes Techno draws back, taking a half-step away. "Well, I was, but I'm good now," Techno says and offers him a thumbs up.
Kengkla's laughter is soft. "You're so cute, P'No," He offers. His voice is low, purring in the back of his throat.
A shade of pink colors across Techno's face and a shocked expression settles in place, doesn't waver when Kengkla reaches behind himself to grab the doorknob. "Ai' Kla," Techno says, his voice resonant with panic, but he doesn't move fast enough to stop Kengkla.
The door shuts with a quiet click. Techno blinks, looking more shocked than upset. "What're you doing?"
"P'No," Kengkla says, dragging the words as he steps closer again until they're almost touching. "You're taking a while just to try on a jacket."
Techno swallows audibly. "Well, I got a bit distracted?" He answers, but it sounds more like a question.
"Why didn't you try it on out there?" Kengkla wants to know. He reaches down to set Techno's phone on the bench behind him, and when he leans back up, he's closer to the Techno than before. From this distance, Kengkla can smell Techno's body wash, but there's another scent there too. "Are you hiding from me, P'?" He offers his best pout despite a knot of tension in his chest from the unfamiliar aftershave.

"No," Techno blurts, but he's backing up until it's no longer possible.
If Techno is trembling with energy, Kengkla is calm and collected. "You didn't want to take off your hoodie in front of everyone," Kengkla tells him slowly. He lets his gaze wander to Techno's neck again.
"Am I right, P'No?" Kengkla looks up, and Techno's staring at him with crimson-stained cheeks.
"We should go back out, Ai' Kla," Techno breaths, ignoring his question. Kengkla sighs, reaching out for Techno's neck, and stares at the marks there. His fingers brush warm skin, hand sliding up and into Techno's hair, and Techno stiffens. When Kengkla runs his fingers through the other's hair, it's softer and finer than his own.
Techno wobbles as he tries to lean away with nowhere to go, and when he reaches out to save himself, his fingers grip at Kengkla's side, clutching his sweatshirt. "Be careful, P'," Kengkla chides, looping his other arm around Techno's waist. He pulls Techno into a hug until their chests touch and presses his face into the other's shoulder, filling his lungs with the scent there. He can smell just his body wash now.
"Why did you leave me last night?" He mumbles it into the shirt but knows it's still audible. When he says, "Are you embarrassed by me, P'No?" the fingers in Techno's hair trail down to the back of his neck.
"Uh," Techno stutters with his fingers curl into Kengkla's shirt in a way that undoes any motivation Kengkla might have had to let him go. He can't hold himself back from the temptation and ducks his head to press his nose and lips against Techno's pulse in his throat. As soon as he does, The rapid pace of Techno's heart beats under the weight of his mouth.
A sound rips from Techno's throat, something incoherent, and Kengkla removes his hand at Techno's neck to cover his mouth. As much as he wants to hear the noises, he knows it's too risky. "P'No, you're making me shy," He hushes and craned his head up to stare into the other's wide eyes.
"I want to be your good boy," Kengkla says, and he's sliding the hand at Techno's neck down to his waist. He pulls sharply at Techno's shirt to drag the other off the balance and turn him around. Techno stumbles, grabbing at the wall in an attempt to catch himself, and Kengkla wraps an arm around his waist to keep him upright, gripping his shirt tightly.
Techno makes a sound, but it's muffled with Kengkla's hand still covering his mouth. He considers making Techno face the mirror but decides against it. Instead, Kengkla slips his thumb past Techno's lips to slide against the edge of his teeth instead, and Techno lets his jaw fall open without any resistance.
Kengkla leans in close, fits his lips against Techno's skin under his ear. When he speaks, his voice is a tender whisper. "Please, P'No." He lets his thumb press in harder, weighing down against the wet slick of Techno's tongue inside his mouth, and Techno angles his head fractionally to the side until Kengkla retracts his fingers.
"Ai'Kla," Techno starts, and his breath catches again. "C-can we please talk about this?"
Kengkla sighs and tightens his grip at Techno's waist, resisting the urge to dig his fingers into his skin. Techno tenses against the pressure and ducks his head to stare at the floor. "I guess we could," He pauses like he's turning the words over into consideration. "Go to my place."
"Your place?" Techno chokes out, his head snapping up. Kengkla laughs against his hair and lets his fingers skim across Techno's stomach.
"Yes, P'No. My family home," Kengkla tells him, sliding his hand up higher so he can drag his palm across Techno's chest.
There's a moment of silence, and Techno looks sideways, out towards the glow from under door. As a few customers pass by, Techno begins wiggling out of his grip. "Okay, let's go," He blurts.
Kengkla's so surprised that he relents, letting Techno out of his grip, and the other turns around to face him, pressing his back against the wall. He's avoiding Kengkla's gaze and reaching past him to grab his phone off the bench.
"P'No will go to my house?" Kengkla enunciates the word carefully so no part of his meaning is lost
"Will your–" Techno starts, but whatever he was going to say dies in his throat. He begins texting on his phone, and Kengkla wants to rip it out of his hands. But before he can, Techno clears his throat and looks up, biting at his lip. "Um, yes, I guess. You should give me directions then...so we can meet there."
But Kengkla's already considered this possibility. He can't have Techno skipping out on him. "Actually, P'No, can you give me a ride there? I let Technic take my car to pick up a girl."
The look of shock on Techno's face is almost comical.
....
Is that a good idea, Techno? I guess we'll find out...

The system was gone and everything was like a dream to him. However, before Lucien could live a peaceful life, the river of fate began to do its job. “What!? 8 995Ocean Attuned - A timeloop LitRPG
In the mids of industrialization, Liana, a girl of almost twelve, awakens her flow and follows her newly awakened calling, the ocean, and thus the path of the last remaining god. With the advent of industry, one's status and the accompanying skills slowly grow to be secondary as people choose more recreational skills and classes. The clear exception are flow bringers. Humans with an increased affinity towards flow and attunements are the only real remnants of the age of gods and mysticism. Terrors on the battlefield, saints in hospitals, saviours during drought, are just some examples of the wonderous abilities they display. As civilization grows less dangerous so does the stress that is often associated with the awakening of the flow reduce and only the real talents remain. Please be aware that this is a first draft at best. Tag/Genre analysis: Action: A theme that will appear in the story at some point (probably 15+ chapters in) Adventure: Yes Fantasy: Yes Magic, Beasts, and other fantastical elements are totally at home here. Tragedy: Life is not always fun. For what is fun when there are no downsides. I don't know how heavily I am going to lean into this genre. I want to but don't expect too much. Loop: Yes, though I will not divulge anything else. Just be aware that there isn't nearly as much looping as in MoL for example. Female Lead: Yes, Liana is female. Dungeon: Yes, there are dungeons. Yes, they will get explored. LitRPG: Yes, read the first chapter if you want an example. Magic: most definitely because who doesn't like calling lighting down from the heavens. (Disclaimer: No actual lightning will be called down from the heavens) Mythos: There are gods. So maybe, I don't know if that is enough to qualify? Progression: yes Slice of Life: There is plot, and the story will mostly be about that plot, but there will also be downtime because there can't always be action. The first "loop" especially the first 20-30 chapters will be heavily SoL. And afterward there will be a lot less. Profanity: The ocean (see title) includes sailors and we all know how the stereotypical sailor is. Gore: Hmmm, some but I will have it be not graphic at all.
