《Their Shattered Angel》A Tipsy night

~Magnolia Knight~

"Get in the car dumbass" I laugh as I am already seated in Rage, waiting patiently for the freaked out Gab to get in. He is clearly scared to drive in the same car as me, but I don't think he would ever admit that as the right hand of one of the most powerful mafia bosses. Never.

"No, no go ahead. I-I" he clears his voice and rubs his neck. "I'll just wait for you to come back. Right here is good." I smile widely at him and to finally see him again after such a long time. I really missed him. But suddenly it's like he something came in his mind and he shockingly starts to climb into the passenger seat. Okay ?

"What was that about ?" I mock and push him slightly, but he completely ignores me and rolls his eyes.

"Go on now Mags." he indicated the road in front of us and I don't hesitate to let the engin roar, before pushing my foot on the pedal, so we both feel as the vehicle shoots forward.

"You can't believe how much I missed racing this baby." I chuckle as we gain speed in the corners and in the corner of my eyes, I even see a small smile appear on Gab's lips.

After an hour of catching up with him and my car, it's time for me to go home. Grey already send me a text saying that he knew I left the house and that he was waiting for me to come immediately and to be ready with an explanation. I told Gab about my brothers and he didn't look surprised at all. No shit Magnolia of course he knows about his rivals.

When I park the car inside the truck again, we both get out and I take that as my cue to ask him a question.

"Did you know that they were my brothers all along and didn't want to tell me ?" I confront him, because I knew by the look on his face that he was hiding something from me. I just didn't know what.

"What do you mean Mags." He gives me a confused look and I can't help myself but to scoff.

"Maybe it doesn't look like it Gab, but I know you. I know when you are hiding something and it is bothering you. Since we got in the car you haven't stopped shaking your leg so what the hell is going on ?"

" First of all why do you attack me like that ?" He chuckles, but I keep an emotionless face, dead serious, which makes him sight. "No I didn't know about your brothers Mags. I knew them, because we are in reality allies. The Knight Brothers ship us all the guns and bullets and other stuff we need, in exchange we protect them and pay them. That's how it works. I heard about their dead sister, but I never knew she was alive and even less that she was right in front of my nose. So no, I didn't know Mags. But if I knew, I would have got you out of that Hell hole." He pauses and looks at me with a clenched fist. " Things with the gang have been quite hectic these past few days, that's why I am not serene. You should be careful too, because it not only concerns us, but your brothers too."

I was about to ask him what is was about, but my mouth falls right back close, when I see the look on his face that says "I am not going to tell you." I sight.

"I have to go... but I will see you Sunday night at the race right ?" I asks him and he nods slowly. "Cool." I give him a tight hug, before walking in the direction of the car I came with, time was ticking and I needed to get my ass home. And fast.

Just like I expected, Greyson was waiting in the garage, his arms crossed over his torso, with a deadly look on his face, as soon as I park the stolen car.

"Where the fuck were you Magnolia ? No. Actually what the fuck were you doing at an abandoned warehouse? I tracked your phone so don't even think of lying to me." Greyson's voice booms, as soon as I get out of the car. I stop myself from flinching at his angered tone, but keep a straight and calm face when I come face to face with him.

"Why were you tracking my phone in the first place Greyson ?" I attack him right back, something he probably didn't anticipate. " I thought you guys were supposed to respect me, like I am supposed to respect you. It goes both ways Greyson, so learn to respect my privacy."

"No. No. No. That is not how it should go. I agree that respect goes both ways, but I do not agree, on the fact that you can leave without telling us. Do you know how fucking dangerous it can get ? Especially these days."

"No I don't Greyson, maybe if you would tell me what the hell has been going on these days, I could make up my own mind about it." I state, anger flushing through my vains.

"We are not going to do this now Mags. Let's go upstairs and talk about this tomorrow, after the party." He sights and gently grabs my arm, and for the first time I actually see how tired he looks. "I won't tell the others that you left so please don't cut your own eye out on this one by telling them."

I agree, because I know it was not the right moment to talk. I needed them all to be there and tell them how I actually know about the whole mafia story. Sooner or later they will know anyway. So we both walk back upstairs, and I am surprised to see that a lot of fragile things have been put away carefully, probably to avoid breaking anything, which would definitely be suspicious for Damon and Leo.

"The house is cleaned up nicely" I state, but Greyson ignores me completely by going upstairs, probably to his room. "it was nice to talk to you" I sarcastically mumble, before following his steps, but to go to my own room. The twins are currently nowhere to be seen, probably getting the supplies for the party, but I really don't mind, because I just hope that they are not aware that I left the house earlier.

Sooner then I though, people stared to fill up the house and the music slowly got louder and louder. Not that I mind. It takes me some time to go downstairs, just making sure that I am ready to have my first real party, brothers included. At first I didn't really know what to do, but soon enough I find myself playing beer pong with half of the football team and I am surprisingly not bad at all. I had to chug two cups already and I was about to do my third one, when a hand tightly grips my shoulder, making me wince. I turn around to face the one that made the boys around me move away, just to let him pass.

"You shouldn't be drinking princess." Elijah leans in to say those words in my ear, but I struggle to hear it over the loud music. He doesn't look to pleased that I am drinking, but I shrug it off, before taking the cup to my lips to down the drink. I smirk at him, before turning back around to the ping pong table, but to my utter disappointment, Elijah scared them all away. I turn back around to see an annoyed Elijah.

"I don't need you to babysit me Elijah, I already have five brothers and I definitely don't need an extra one right now." I comment, which makes him playfully roll his eyes. "But now, if you would excuse me, I want to enjoy my night." I make my way around him and I see a small hesitation in his moves, as if he was debating to let me leave or not. He chose to leave it. I think about why Blake would want to invite him to the party, I mean he is the boss of the Death's Head, so why loose his time here

A few hours later, I am stuck on the couch, having fun by playing stupid cards with some people. I didn't even realise that the time passed by so fast, I did so many things in one night that I can't even remember half of them. I am not drunk, but I am tipsy, just the perfect amount of alcohol in my system to make me happy and relaxed. Ethan didn't really mind me drinking and so does Grey, but Ethan told me that I shouldn't come across his twin, because that would be bad news for me if he saw me drinking. Luckily I he was somewhere else in the house, doing god knows what with a girl. But for now, a lot of people already went home, and I feel as the intense gaze of Elijah bores into the back of my head as I continue playing the game. After a little I stand up to go refill my drink and surprise... I come across Elijah ! Yay...

"Having fun ?" he chuckles lightly and I can't stop myself from giving him an annoyed look.

"Can't say the same with you, bad boy" I remark to which he fakes to be offended by putting his hand on his heart.

"I am Princess. Look I am very happy with this perfect glass of whiskey in my hands." he shows me his glass, with a very unsteady movement, which makes me think that he is probably not as sober as I though. "We didn't get much time to talk did we ?"

"Indeed." I state. It was my intention all night long, I tried to avoid him as much as possible, but it seems like can't really get rid of him. We always seem to bump into each other, and sometimes I wonder if he does it on purpose.

I feel as his dark eyes stare into mine and I kind of feel like I am mesmerised by them, unable to look away. At that moment it feels like the alcohol kicks in just a little bit more and seconds later, without really having any control of my body, I find myself kissing Elijah Wood.
