~Magnolia~
"Mags ? Is that really you ?" Gab says, confusion laiced in his voice. He is one of the only one who knows me with my real name and who also knows what MJ stands for. "Where are you ? Are you okay...You have been gone for at least five days and nobody has heard from you..." he trails off, waiting for me to answer his questions.
"I am okay Gab. I... I had to move out, so I live somewhere else now. I am sorry." I respond as guilt for leaving him without any goodbye fills me up. " I don't have much time... but do you have any idea how I could get Rage ? I can't leave her Gab... J-Jace gave her to me before..." My voice breaks at the end which makes it impossible for me to finish my sentence. Fortunately Gab knows exactly what I am talking about and jumps to my rescue.
"Don't worry Mags, I know how much this car means to you. If you can find out where the nearest race track is, I will get Rage to you. I am glad you are okay."He responds and I sight in relief to know that I will get my car back. I knew I could count on him. He was Jace's best friend, so he introduced him to me and he became one of only friends. I have to mention that he turned out to be the best mechanic I have ever had, became my mechanic after I got to know about cars.
Suddenly the door to my hospital room opened and the small head of the nurse peaked through the door.
"I am sorry dear, but I need you to end the call. You need to rest." She said with a soft smile, before coming into my room completely. Fear was visible in her eyes, but I could see that she was trying really hard to hide it.
I nodded my head to her and said some last words to Gab, as for my location and I didn't forget to ask him how he was holding up. The loss of his best friend destroyed him along with me.
I finished the call to give the nurse her phone back and watched her leave my room without an other word.
I heavily sighted as tiredness washed over me, which made me give up the fight against sleep.
Everything hurt after one of the famous beatings of Daniel Campbell. I breath heavily as I slowly walk up the stairs to go to my room and give my body some rest. Once I reach my room I think about laying down on my mattress, but my gut tells me something else. I feel the need to go outside, get fresh air instead of inhaling this toxic air again. So with all the power and I will I have left I open my bedroom window and look down to find a way to get on the ground safely.

I find a few edges were I can rest my feet, so I do so after climbing out my window. My body is begging and screaming me to stop, but I can't. Before jumping down to close the distance between me and the ground I take a deep breath and count to three.
One.
Two.
Three.
The impact leaves me breathless, but I don't give myself time to recover before standing up again and limping towards the darkness where the Campbells couldn't see me.
At this point I am just heading towards an unknown route, tears streaming down my face as I ask myself what I did to deserve all this hatred. I stop walking, or more limping, when I reach an empty and huge parking lot. I look up and expect to see a bright sky, but only end up seeing dark clouds covering the stars I wanted to see so bad.
Suddenly my attention switches towards a loud roaring sound of multiple car engins that seem to be dangerously approaching this parking lot. Fuck me.
And as I expected a few beautiful cars storm in the parking lot, a black Bugatti Centodieci in the front, leading the others. I slowly back away to the shadows of the trees without to try and get myself unnoticed. Thankfully I have a black hoodie to help me in this case.
Doors open to reveal multiple young and scary guys coming out of their cars.
"I told you that you couldn't mess with me Thommy boy." The guy that was leading the cars with his Bugatti smirked attractively. I am telling you my jaw was on the ground at that moment. His black leather jacket hugged his muscular body perfectly. Even though it was dark you could see his tonned figure.
"I still gave it a try though. But jeez you are hell of a racer man." A man who looked a couple of years older than him said, before tossing him a stack of money. A big stack of money may I add. "It hurts to see my money fly away like that." He chucked and gave him a fair play hand shake, before disapearing in his orange sports car. His friends follows along, which only left two cars. The Bugatti and a dark grey M5 BMW.
"And that's another easy win for you man. 2 thousand bucks in the pocket." A blond haired guy smiled and leaned himself on the winners car, which earned him a death glare from the owner of the car.

" Get your ass of my car Gab. I know you made this engin devilish, but I swear if you don't move now, I will use my fist to..."
"Calm down man. You clearly still need to work on your anger issues." The blond called Gab chuckled before standing up again.
I watched quietly the discussion of the two boys and felt a pinch of jalousie. They looked like having their best time of their life's and I was here, alone, hurt with no one to trust. I think about how often they could just go out in the middle of the night to do fun stuff like this. Feel alive. That's only a dream.
I was too deep in my thoughts, that I didn't even notice their piercing eyes on me, as silence fell in this previous crowed parking lot. It took me for one of them to stand in front of me to realise that I wasn't undercover anymore. Well shit.
"Are you okay ? You shouldn't be here alone in the dark at this hour." The deep voice of the black haired guy with the leather jacket popped the bubble I was in and made me jump back. I looked up only to meet with a pair of dark eyes that looked into mine to find an explanation to why I was here. "What are you doing here ?" He asked in a more severe voice now, which automatically set me on a defence mode.
"I am sorry I shouldn't be here." I whispered and slowly stood up only to come face to face with the chest of this tall boy. I didn't dare to look up, so I slowly started to walk to the side to get out of his way, but I didn't get very far.
His large hand had already gently gripped my wrist.
"You shouldn't be out here alone." He said in such a soft and caring way that it made me look up to him. Wrong move. His expression turned from soft to worried and angry in a second. That's when I realised the cut on my lip was very visible to him even in the night.
"Did someone hurt you ?" He exclaimed rather then asked. His hand slowly made its way to my face to find my cheek, which made me back up against a tree.
"I am not going to hurt you." He said, frustration laiced in his voice.
"I know. But I don't need you to worry, nothing happened. I just received a football in the middle of my face. That's all."
He said nothing after that. He just stared at me with curious eyes which made me look away in discomfort. My eyes found his car and his friend that looked at our exchange with crossed arms.
" That's a nice Bugatti Centodieci you have there." I point to his car with a small smile. I know only 10 of this model were produced in the world, which obviously means that this car is worth a very very good amount of money.
The boy raises his eyebrows in shock for a second and turns his shock in nothing else than proud. "Indeed."
He turns around to look in the same direction as me which made his friend notice and give us a funny wave with his hand.
I slightly chuckled and made the pain in my stomach grow, which I immediately regretted.
"So you like cars ?" He concluded to my earlier statement.
"Indeed." I copy his words and earn a smile on his face.
" What if I tell you, you can have a ride in this beautiful object of mine and in return I get your name ?"
I hesitate a moment to balance the pours and cons, which will obviously lead the pours to win and reply. "Deal"
The boy grins and indicates me to follow him. "I am Jace just so you know who this handsome man is." He exclaimed whiles pointing to his own body.
"Nice to meet you Jace." I chuckled. " and just so you know, I would have given you my name even without the deal." I joked.
"Trust me I know, it was just funnier this way, shortcake."

Now finding himself lost in a realm rich in previously-limited Transcendental Essences, however, does he truly even want to return back to his old world? If nothing else, plagiarising - ahem, learning new spell structures by observing the local mages should prove entertaining. Sure, there were new dangers in this foreign world, but they wouldn't be anything a fancy bit of spellwork couldn't solve. Though, he would appreciate it greatly if someone could explain to him just what this 'cultivation' business was, why the local Mages were all muscle-brained freaks obsessed with immortality, and why they all seemed to lack any appreciation for the finer details of Essence manipulation. That would be nice.
