(A/N: I know Valerie got the suit upgrade from Technus but I didn't do Flirting with Disater, for reason, so in my story she got the upgrade from Vlad and she's convinced her dad to continue her Ghost Hunting. Anyway on with the story.)

*DANI'S POV*

"Finally, I'm back." I said as I emerge from a group of boxes. Then I look in window, and see my reflection. "Uh-oh. Whoa, that's one scary ghost. I got to get to Danny and (y/n) fast." I said then start flying, slowly. "Or slow, slow’s good. Or slower, even slower's better." I said, sarcastically and I stop flying. Then my feet start to dissolve. "Ahh! I just hope Danny and (y/n) can help me!" I muttered then I re-absorb my feet. "I can't let him find me!" I said as I look around the alleyway. "Okay, pull yourself together Danielle. Vlad is all the way in Colorado. There's no way he can know you here." I said to myself as I fly up and fly over the town.

I land on a nearby alleyway next to an apple stand. I step to the side and turn back human. "If I wanna reach Danny and (y/n), I’ve gotta keep up my strength!" I said as I look at the nice delicious looking apple's. I turn out both pockets of my shorts, but I don't have any money. I sighed and I turn to the stand and hold up my hands. "I hate to do this, but…" I muttered and I turn my hands intangible, then reach into the apple stand to grab some apples.

The man turns to me and said, angrily. "Alright, let me see your hands!!" I raise my arms, my sleeves empty as if I had no hands. "Aaaah!" The man screamed and he runs away while I walk around the corner, into the alley, taking out the two apples I nabbed and bite into one.

Suddenly I heard an alarm and I spit out the apple and drop them as I look up and see a suited up figure, hovering up above me. Uh oh a Hunter! "Don’t worry, kid! I’m not gonna let some little ghost freak get ya! Hold on!" She said and I begin to run away and into an abandoned building.

I run behind a white clothed table just as the huntet enters, using a light on her helmet to see as she walks foward. "Listen, kid. I know you’re in here. And I know something evil is hunting you!" she said as she looks around the building. "Yeah, no kidding!" I muttered as I duck from the light. "But I can protect you if you just trust me and come out!" she said as she walks deeper into the room then the beam falls down.

Sand trickles down as the building begins falling apart. I let out a small yelp then I get up and transform into my ghost form as I rush towards the hunter. I grab her before turning us intangible just as two huge wooden planks fall where we were standing. I fly us through the wooden wall of the collapsing house and landed safely outside.

She recoils from me, staring at my ghost form in shock. "Huh? You’re—you’re a girl and a ghost?!" She asked, shocked. "And you’re welcome." I said with a smile. "The ghost girl!" The hunter exclaimed as she stands up. "Yeah, but you can just call me Dani!" I said as I stand up and hold my hand out to her. "Oh, I will." she growls then she takes out a red, glowing instrument that traps my hands together in it's red glow. "Dani Phantom!" she said and I stare at her in fear.

"Let me go!" I shouted. "Not on your afterlife, ghost girl!" the hunter said. I struggle in my restraints and my hands start to melt. "That’s what I’m afraid of...What are you going to do with me?!" I asked her. "Me? I’m not doing anything with you. I’ve got you all bundled up for delivery to Vlad Masters." she said.

"You’re working for Vlad?! He’ll destroy me!" I exclaimed. "Ha! That’s a good one! He told me the only reason you came out of the Ghost Zone was to destroy him!" she said to me, angrily. "What?! No! He’s lying!" I said.

"Vlad Masters is a good man! He has never lied to me!" the hunter said as she holds up her phone.

"Are you crazy?! Look at me. Do I look like I could destroy anything?" I asked her and she turns her back on me. "Vlad is evil! And even though I knew he was hunting me, I chanced coming here because I’m dissolving into nothing! Only two people can help me: Danny Phantom and Shadow Girl." I said.

Then she turns to face me and smiles. "You know the ghost kids?!" She asked. "Yes! Do you?" I asked her. "Of course! Everybody in Amity Park knows of the amazing ghost heros Danny Phantom and Shadow Girl! But I’ve never had the honor of meeting them…." She said as she smiles and turns her back at me as she looks at me over her shoulder. "I’ll introduce you! Just set me free so I can see them!" I said as I hold up my hands. "Oh, I’ll let you see them." She said and she takes the restraints off and I take her with me to find Danny and (y/n).

*YOUR POV*

Danny and I were flying over the streets as Sam and Tucker were down in the street on their scooters. "A report on Patroclus? I’m impressed!" Sam said through our techno earphones. "Thanks! I guess I really do absorb some things while I’m sleeping in class." Danny said and I roll my eyes. "Well, guys, I hate to say it, or maybe I’m glad to say it, but tonight’s ghost hunting scene is pretty much Dullsville." I said. But then Tucker said. "Unless, of course, you count the sudden appearance of Danny’s long lost ghost cousin."

"What?! My cousin?" Danny asked then we looked up and we were hit then we land on the rooftop. "Danny! (y/n)!" A voice exclaimed and we look up to see it was Danielle. "Danny? That was your cousin, right?" Sam asked. "We’ve got this one, guys!" Danny said and I walk up to Danielle.

"Danielle? Are you okay?" I asked and I take her hand but something was weird as I pull my hand back and see green goop on my hand. "You look awful." I remarked.

"What happened to you? Last time we saw you, you flew off kinda dramatically." Danny said.

"You know how hard it is to fly off dramatically?!" She asked then she grunts then reabsorbs the goop back in her hands. "That plus our last battle with Vlad left me really wiped out. As much as I’ve tried to save my strength since then, I keep getting weaker! I needed your help to see if you two can make me stay whole! But as soon as I got into town, Vlad came after me!" She informed us.

Danny and I kneeled next to her and I place my left hand on her right shoulder and Danny places his right hand on her left shoulder as Danny said. "He’s not gonna touch you, Dani. Come on, we’ll protect you." The three of us fly off until I felt something grab my ankle.

I look down and saw that Valerie had a cable attached to mine and Danny's ankle. "I knew you two would take the bait." She said a smile on her face.

"Bait?! Was this a trap?!" I asked Danielle.

"No! No! I would never do that! She saw me go ghost and she was gonna turn me over to Vlad until I told her I knew you guys!" She replied.

"It’s true, ghost kids. The little ecto-brat had no idea I was using her to get to you two!" Valerie said.

"You what?!" Dani exclaimed.

"And she actually believed that I wanted the honor of meeting Danny Phantom and Shadow Girl! When I really just wanted the honor of destroying you two!" Valerie said and she shocks me and Danny, knocking us out as we fell down into the streets.

I groan as I open my eyes and see that Danny and I were tied up by our wrist and ankles with some cables. "I finally got you where I want you two." Valerie's voice said and I look up to see her walking out of the shadows. "Now, I want answers." She said as she walks up to us.

"You’re not getting anything until you tell us what you did with Dani!" Danny shouts.

"Oh, she’s getting what’s coming to her." Valerie said.

"Just tell us you didn’t hand her over to Vlad!" I said.

"Well, that would be a lie, now, wouldn’t it?" she said with a smile.

"You didn’t seem to have any trouble lying to Dani! Listen, Valerie, I know that we’ve had our issues, and clearly, you’re not big on forgiveness. But Dani doesn’t have anything to do with you hating us!" Danny said.

"I don’t hate you, Danny, or your girlfriend. It’s because of you that I’m the most powerful ghost hunter in Amity Park." Valerie replied.

"Hey! What about the Fentons?!" Danny asked her as she walks over to a case she had laid out on the table nearby.

"Are you kidding?! They couldn’t catch a ghost if it was living under their own roof!" Valerie said, laughing. "True." I muttered as I look over at Danny. He rolls his eyes as Valerie pulls opens the cases. "But knowledge is power. And with both of your knowledge, I’ll be able to rid Amity Park of its constant ghost invasions forever!" She said.

"So you want information." Danny said, raising an eyebrow.

"Everything you two got. On the ghost portals, the ghost zone…" she said.

"And what if we don’t feel like talking?" I asked her.

"Then I’ll need to find ways to persuade you two!" She said as she pulls out an ecto-gun.

*DANI'S POV*

I struggled against the restraints as I glare over at Vlad. "What is it with you and examination tables?!" I asked as I struggled then I start to melt again. "Whoa!" I yelped as Vlad floats over to me. "Now, now, my dear, if you continue to struggle, there’ll be nothing left of you to dissect." he said and he reaches out towards me. "Don’t touch me!" I shout and he pulls his hand back, which was covered in ecto-goo.

"Eww…" he said and he snaps his finger and a scanner comes up and scans me. "Structural density?" He asked the hologram of Maddie's head. "Fifty-three percent, dumpling." She said then I relaxed. "Eighty-percent, sweetums. Oh! Love the cologne you’re wearing!" She said.

"Ectoplasmic energy readings?" he asked her.

"Unstable, cupcake." She replied.

"Clearly she is only mildly more sound than the other clones! The question is, why did she last longer than the rest?" he asked then thinks about it for a moment then said. "Then again she has both Daniel's and (y/n)'s DNA."

"WHAT?" I asked, surprised. "Oh, yes, my dear. Didn't I tell you?" Vlad said.

"So....Danny and (y/n) are...?" I started to ask and Vlad talks over me.

"Yes, in a twisted sort of way you are Daniel's and (y/n)'s daughter." He said and I gasped.

"Then please tell me you’ve been working on something to stabilize me." I said.

"Oh, no. I’ve had far more important matters to tend to. My Maddie upgrade, for instance. Right, dear?" He said as he looks at the Maddie hologram. "Anything you say, my brilliant and ingenious lambchop. I love what you’ve done with your fangs!" she said and he smiles at her. "Well, Danielle, it seems the only way I’ll be able to make a perfect clone is to melt you down and study your ectoplasmic remains." Vlad said and I look up at him in shock

*YOUR POV*

"Valerie! You don’t want to do this!" Danny shouts.

"No, you two don’t want me to do this!" Valerie said as she holds up the ecto gun. "Well, yeah!" I muttered then she shocks me. "Aaaaaaah!" I screamed.

"Stop, please! I’ll tell you about the portals! I’ll give you a map to the Ghost Zone, you can become the hero ghost hunter of Amity Park! But first, you need to let us go, and we need to save Danielle!" Danny shouts at Valerie.

"Why? Because she’s one of your kind, a ghost?" Valerie asked him and she shocks him, making him scream.

"No, because she’s one of yours, a human!" I yelled. She stops as she looks over at me. "She’s not just a ghost. She’s also a girl." I said.

"But Vlad said the ghost side of her was out to get him and Amity Park." Valerie said, still in denial.

"Valerie, you saw her! Did Dani really look like she could destroy anything?" Danny asked her.

"Funny…She asked me the same thing." Valerie mutters.

"Look, the facts are, Danielle’s ghost half is unstable. Vlad is out to destroy her. And if he destroys the ghost half, the human half is destroyed with it!" I informed her.

"No…That’s not my problem! She is a ghost. And I destroy ghosts!" Valerie argued.

"Fine! Destroy ghosts! But can you really take part in destroying a human?" I asked her and she gives me a concerned look.

After She freed us, Danny takes us to the Fenton's lab. "What makes you think the Fentons would have anything to help Dani? They are ghost hunters, not ghost helpers." Valerie said, annoyed, to us. "Yes, and no. My da—Jack Fenton tends to be a little of both." Danny said as he walks over to a counter and pulls out a small device called the Ecto-Dejecto. "For the sake of all ghosts, we keep an eye on these guys and have a pretty good idea of what they’re up to." Danny said to Valerie.

"You two don’t think it’s a little dangerous flying into the lab of a family of ghost hunters?" She asked us and we look over and see a huge tank that had ghost inside of it with Mr Fenton shoved up top of it. "Something tells me we’ll be okay." I said and we phase through the roof but not before Danny turns around and helps his dad then comes back and we make our way to Vlad's house.

We enter through the front doors as we hear a voice scream. "Guys! Heeeelp!"

"Dani?" Danny and I asked. "It came from in there!" Val said as she points towards the door at the end of the hallway, where Vlad Plasmius appears. "We don’t want to fight you, Vlad. We just want to save Danielle." I said. "Sorry, not on my watch." He replied and he blasts me and Danny into a bookcase. We try to get up but the bookcase falls over on us and the two of us pass out.

I'm not sure how long we were out but as I come to, I heard a high pitched scream. "Mommy! Daddy!" I look over and see Danny, now in his human form, wakes up as well and we look towards the door. "Danielle!" We shouted.

"Wait? Why did she say mom and dad?" I asked. Danny shrugs as he looks to see that he's human. "Oh no! Did Valerie see us?" Danny asked. I also shrugged as we hear Danielle screaming again. "No time for that!" Danny said and we transform and phase through the floor and enter the lab to see Danielle tied up to a table and screaming in pain while Valerie was just standing there on her glider.

"Valerie! Why are you just standing around?" I asked her, angrily. Then we heard a knock off to the side. "Help! That horrible ghost trapped me and he’s going to destroy the girl!" A voice called out.

"Vlad?" Valerie asked.

"Hello? Vlad’s right in front of you!" Danny said ad he gestures over to Plasmius.

"Not him, Vlad Masters! This is his mansion!" Val said and she flies down to the ground and opens the door to reveal Vlad Masters falling out and lands in her arms.

"As the sweet, caring, good-natured man that I am, I beg you, don’t let him do it!" he exclaimed and Val smiles at us.

"Ha! Told you he was a good dude!" Val said and we make our way to Danielle while Valerie was fighting Plasmius.

We run up to the table and we electrocuted. Danny and I let out a yelp as we try to blast the restraints off of her. "It’s going to take more than your little plasma ray for you to cut those ties, you two." Plasmius said as he goes to fight Val.

We try and try again to shoot off the ties but it wouldn't work. "We can’t break them, Danielle. There’s only one more thing to try." Danny said as he pulls out the Ecto-Dejector. I turn to her and asked. "Feeling brave?"

"A little weak in the knees, actually. And I don’t even have knees anymore!" she shouts as I see that her feet and ankles were gone and in the little tube of ecto-goo that was under her. "Well, then, I hope my dad didn’t mend this Achilles’s heel!" Danny said as he raises the device to her and sprays her arm but nothing was happening. "I…think it’s too late…Bye, mom and dad…Thanks for…" she groans. "Danielle, what do you mean by...?" I started to ask when suddenly she was turned into a pile of ecto-goop.

"No!! No!" Danny screamed as I placed my hand over my mouth, tears forming in my eyes. "Dani…we… we failed you…" Danny said, dejectedly, as we kneel in front of the table. Tears fall down out of my eyes as I said, tearfully. "We're so sorry." Danny wraps his arm around me and I bury my face into his shoulder as I cry.

"Guys? What’s the trouble?" A voice asked. Danny and I look up at each other then over to the table to see Danielle's head poking out of the pile of goo. "Hey!" We shouted as Dani jumps in the air and over us as she forms into her normal form. "Ha! I’m me again! I knew you two wouldn’t let me down!" She exclaimed as she hugs both of us and we hug her back.

"A little help here?!" we hear Valerie ask as she flies by us, Plasmius right behind her. "With pleasure!" Dani said and she flies after Plasmius and then grabs his cape and throws him against the lab wall. "I never got to thank you for the homecoming!" She said and she throws discs of ecto-energy at Plasmius, which he dodged. "Ha! You missed me!" he gloats but then Dani comes up and punches him, hard, against the wall, knocking him out.

"Guess that’ll teach him to pick on a defenseless girl!" Dani said.

"There’s no such thing." Val said.

"Get Danielle out of here, Valerie. We’ll be right behind you." Danny said and Dani and Valerie leave the lab.

Once they are out of earshot we turn to Vlad, arms folded across our chest. "Man, you really know how to work the system, don’t you?" I asked him annoyed. Plasmius disappears as Vlad walks up a smile on his face. "It’s my specialty." He replied. "Now Valerie blames Vlad Plasmius for trying to destroy Dani, leaving Vlad Masters in the clear. If only she knew you were one and the same." Danny said, glaring at the man. "Well, you two could tell her. But I’m afraid I would have to counter your slanderous accusations by revealing your little secrets." Vlad said as he walks up to us. "Don't come near her again!" I said, angrily, and we leave him behind and fly up out of his house.

"Dani, that was awesome! Dani?" Danny said as we look and see Dani wasn't around. We fly up yo Val and asked. "Valerie, where’s Dani?" Then Dani appears in front of us and said. "Boo!" Then her and Val laugh as we jumped back in surprise. "Ha, ha. Very funny." I said, sarcastically. Then I look over at Danny then over at Val and said. "Uh, Valerie, can we have a few moments alone with Dani?" Val looks at me then she nods and flies out of earshot from us.

"Thank you both! Vlad would’ve baked me into a puddle of nothing if you hadn’t saved me!" Dani said to us.

"That’s what family’s for!" Danny said.

"Speaking of family, Dani, back there in the lab, why did you call us mom and dad?" I asked, curiously.

"Because, in a weird way, you two are my parents! Vlad used both of your DNA's to make me." She said. Danny and I look at each other then we blushed at this as Dani giggles.

"So, uh, now what? Heading off?" Danny asked her, changing the subject. "Yep! Now that this Phantom is fixed, she’s got places to go." she said, happily "Well, just be safe, okay?" Danny said and Dani smiles at him.

"Aw, Dad, nothing can hurt me now!" She said and Danny blushes at the word Dad as She kisses his cheek then kissed mine, then she puts her arms around our neck and pulls us into a group hug. We hug each other as I look over to see Valerie floating next to us, a smile on her face.

Dani pulls out of the hug and turns to Val and said. "And thanks, Valerie!" And she flies off into the sky.

We look over at Valerie and hold out our arms to her. "What’s that for?" she asked us. "Deal’s a deal. You helped us save Dani, you may now have us back as your captive." Danny said.

"Forget it." Val said.
