*DANNY'S POV*

I was walking to a table in the cafeteria, feeling proud of myself for acing that science test, when I see Dash standing in front of Tucker. "Oh no! Dash is going to destroy Tucker." I said to myself and make my way over to them. "Guys, wait! Violence is never the answer!" I said.

"Well, look who showed up!" Dash said as he turns to face me. "I've been waiting for you, Fenton!" He said and I closed my eyes waiting for the punches.....but they never came.

"No, seriously, we've been saving your seat for like ten minutes! Where you been, buddy?" Dash asked and I look up at him confused. Then I look over at Tucker, who was smiling, as some of the jocks come up to me and cheer. I look down at the table and see a newspaper that had my picture on it. The picture showed me in a football jersey and helmet, holding the football, and the words was under the picture.

"Throws? Winning? Fenton?" I said, shocked and confused.

"Three seconds left in the game and you called a reverse! You're the best quarterback Casper's ever had!" Dash informed me.

"I am? I-I-I mean, I am!" I said then my Ghost Sense goes off. "And speaking of comic book villians." I muttered as I turn to see the Fright Knight outside the window on his horse.

"Danny! Outside! The Fright Knight!" Dash said.

"Uh....why are you telling me?" I asked him.

"Duh...because you have ghost powers!" He replied and everyone starts to cheer for me.

"Uh....Going Ghost." I said then I transformed and and phased through the roof of the school. I fly towards the Fright Knight and said. "Hey, Fright nut! Do you know the freezing point of metal?" Then I raised my hands and freezed The Fright Knight, who turns into a block of ice and drops down. I pull out the Thermos and said. "I'm getting an A+ in my science class, so that was really a rhetorical question." I open up the Thermos and sucked the Fright Knight in then I make my way back into the school.

Everyone cheered as I turn back human and take my seat at the table. "Sweet! Must be nice, Fenton. Being a superhero and having all the girls lovesick for ya." Dash said.

"Sounds like someone's tired of taking their cousin to all the dances." Tucker teased.

"She's my mom's sister's step-daughter." Dash replied, annoyed.

"C'mon guys! You know that there's....only one girl for me." I said as I think about her, smiling.

"I hope you're talking about me." A voice said, but it wasn't (y/n)'s.

I turn around and see that it is....

"Sam?!" I exclaimed as she stands behind me. "W-w-wha--what are you doing here?" I asked.

"Uh, hello? I'm your girlfriend." She said.

"No, you're not! Where's (y/n)?" I asked.

"Who's (y/n)? There's no one here by that name." She said. "Don't you remember, Danny? You gave me this!" And she holds up her hand to reveal she was wearing a ring. The ring I gave to (y/n) that I got from her future-self. And I start to panic...No this can't be! This...

Suddenly, I wake up and take a few deep breathes. "Huh? It was just a dream?" I asked as I look around and saw that I was in the Ghost Zone. "Whoa, more like a nightmare." I said as I look around. "How did I get all the way here into the Ghost Zone?" I asked.

I bend down and see shattered pieces of a helmet and then I started having flashes of green ghosts flying towards me and then a tall, dark shape. "I remember a tall shape, dark. A Ghost?" I said. I pick up the pieces and said. "Something tells me that I'm not gonna like what I'm going to find out there."

Once I arrived at the lab, I transformed, looked around then head up the stairs. "Mom? Dad?" I called out as I make my way upstairs. "It's quiet. Too quiet." I said as I approach my parents bedroom and find my parents asleep with the weird helmets on their heads. I run over to the side and reach out towards them but the thing shocks me. "What are these stupid things, anyway? They look like space tiara's for a princess." I said then I gasped. "Jazz!" I said and I go to run to her room and found her asleep on her desk.

I run up to her and try to touch her but then the helmet shocks me. "Going Ghost." I said and I go ghost. "Going to the video tapes." I said and I fly up to the Ops Center.

I sit in a chair and start to bring up the security cameras. A video comes on and shows the front door of the the house when suddenly a group of green ghosts phase through the door. "Whoa! Rewind! What was that?" I asked as I rewind the tape and stop the tape when the Ghosts appears. "Hello? Looks like breaking and entering to me. Or well, phasing and entering." I said.

I flip through the other cameras and the first one showed mom working on something in the lab but this ghosts comes up and puts her to sleep and a shadowy hand appears and places the helmet on her head. I gasped as they do the same to Jazz in her room. And dad....well he was eating some food out of the fridge. I switch to the fridge camera and see Dad eating as the ghost comes up behind him and puts him to sleep and the shadowy hand comes down and places the helmet on his head.

"Whoa, but why attack the Fenton's?" I asked, outloud. "Unless they were putting the whole town asleep!" I said as I look out the window then I let out a gasp. "(Y/N)!"

I fly over to (y/n)'s house and into her room to see that she was wearing the same helmet, asleep. I walk up to her, reaching out toward her and get shocked for the third time. "I've got to stop doing that! (Y/N), I promise I will get that thing off of you. Let's see if Tucker can shed some light on this." I said and I head over to Tucker's.

Once there, I type on Tucker's computer and said. "Okay, let's see what's going on in Tucker vision." Next to the computer, a hologram of Tucker appears as he sits and starts to type on his computer until a tall shadow figure pops up, scaring Tucker. Then the figure places the helmet on his head and he falls asleep. "A whole new ghost. And yet, he seems kinda familiar." I said as I stands up then I take off.

I fly over Amity Park and see everyone has fallen asleep while wearing those helmets. "The whole town's asleep." I remarked then my ghost sense goes off and I look down to see two green ghost hovering over a couple of people. They turn around and see me. "Uh oh." I said and fire some ecto-beams at them but they dodge them then they fly up and grab me. "Let me go! Where are you taking me?" I asked but the Ghosts say nothing.

"Strong silent types, huh? Okay, let's see how strong." I said and I close my eyes and I freeze the Ghost carrying me. "I don't know where you're taking me but I'm pretty sure we're not going to like it." I said when the weight of the iced up ghosts pulls me down. I let out a small yelp before I break free from the grip. "Ha! Not that strong after all." I said and fly back down into the deserted streets.

I land down in an alleyway and start to walk out into the streets until I saw a group of those ghosts float towards me. I move away and begin to hide then go intangible. The Ghosts float past me without a problem. "A whole new freaky ghost army run by a new freaky ghost?" I said. "Why do I get the feeling Vlad is somehow behind this?"

I head over to Vlad's house but it looked like the Ghosts got to him too as he was wearing the helmet too. "Well this is definitely a good news, bad news moment." I said as I turn tangible and float over Vlad's bed. "But if Vlad's not behind this, who is?"

Then I heard something behind me and see a group of those ghost, hovering over me. "Hey, guys! Love your individuality!" I said before I start blasting them, taking out a couple. They fire their own ecto-beams at me but I move out of the way as they begin to surround me. "Luckily, I know all your creepy ghost moves." I said when suddenly I felt hands grab my wrists and ankles. "Pay attention, guys. You'll see why I'm not even scared." I said until I heard someone laughing.

Then there was a purple mist that formed into a large figure whose body looked like it was made out of the night sky and he had purple horns on top of his head and red eyes. "Ah, but you should be, ghost boy. And if you were smart, you would be." The Ghost said. "You!" I said as the Ghosts carried us down into Vlad's lab.

"You were the one who sent me into the Ghost Zone!" Danny said as they strapped us down into surgical tables. "Yes, and I'm about to do it again." The Ghost said.

"Who are you? What do you want?" I asked him.

"I am Nocturne, the Ghost of Sleep. And what I want, I already have, your dreams. The dreams of everyone in this town! I travel from town to town, absorbing the energy from dreams. With billions of people in your relam, imagine the energy there is to harvest." Nocturne said.

"Oh, okay, I get the point." I said. "But do you get that I won't let that happen!" I ice up my restraints and bust out of them. "All that beauty sleep left me rested and stronger! Not a good idea." I said and I go intangible and sink down into the table before I raise back up and blast Nocturne into the air against some equipment. He lets out a yell as he falls back down to the ground.

"That'll teach ya for stealing people's dreams!" I said.

"Stealing is such an ugly word. I prefer the term harvest....for energy." Nocturne said as he raises his hand but nothing happens. "Looks like you need it, you're running out of steam." I remarked then he gets up and blasts me away. Then he levitates me in the air and slams me against the wall. "My army will keep the world asleep. So that I may remain all powerful!" He boasts.

"That's all you do? Put people to sleep? You sure you're not a teacher?" I asked then I raise my glowing hand and fly through the air as I slice him in half, which worked for about a second. He formed back and smiles at me. This isn't good! I thought.

"Sleepwalkers, form!" He said and four more of those Sleepwalkers pop up. "As you will see, dreams also fuel my Sleepwalkers! We are unstoppable!" Nocturne said. "This is where I say dream on!" I said and I raise my hands and ecto-blast the Sleepwalkers, disintegrating them.

"Sleepwalkers, form!" Nocturne said and they form and pile right on top of me, pinning me down into the ground. But I struggled as I pick them up and used my ice vision on them and punched them. "With the entire town dreaming, I can do this all day?" Nocturne said.

"Yeah, me too." I said.

"Really? I believe this is where I say, dream on!" He said and a bunch of those Sleepwalkers grab my ankles and my arms then they start to surround me.

"Times up, Danny Phantom! I promise your sleep will be much deeper this time! And by deeper, I mean permanent nap time!" Nocturne said as he forms a blue ball in his hand. "Must be nice getting others to fight your battles, not so nice when they lose." I said and I freeze all of the Sleepwalkers and blast them away.

"Time to hibernate!" I said and I charge at Nocturne, who charges at me as well, but I flip over him and kick him. He backs up as I raise my hand and shoved my fist in his chest then I freeze him up. Then I blast him away with ecto-energy. "Haha, sweet dreams! Now to take out those Sleepwalkers. To battle an army, I'll need one of my own." I muttered to myself as I phase out of the lab and head over to (y/n)'s house.

Once there, I enter her room and stand at the edge of her bed. She looks so peaceful sleeping....ugh, focus, Fenton, you need to figure out how to wake her up. I thought as I shake my head. "Ok, how do I get that headset off without lighting myself up like a Christmas tree?" I asked myself then I thought of something. "Wait a minute! Something obviously woke me up and knocked this thing off my head. The question is....what?" I said then I remembered the dream I had. The shock of Sam being my girlfriend and not (y/n) did it.

"Whoa, yeah, that'll do it. Okay I don't need to risk getting shocked to remove this thing, I just need to shock (y/n) inside her dream. No big deal. Look out, (y/n)! I'm coming in!" I said as I turn intangible and fly right into (y/n).

Next thing I knew, I appeared at the park. "Huh, odd choice for a dream." I muttered as I look around to find (y/n). Finally I see her sitting by a tree with me, both of us cuddled up to each other. "Why couldn't this have been the dream I had?" I muttered to myself just as (y/n) and the dream me started to kiss. "Now, I just need something to scare her awake." I said and I look up to see Skulker flying above. "A-ha! That'll do! I'm sorry to do this to you, (y/n)." I said and I fly up and overshadow Skulker. Then I fly down and land in front of dream me and (y/n).

"Hello, ghost child!" I said and I raised the gun and blasted the other me away. "Danny!" She shouted at him and then she looks up at me in fear. I raise the ecto-gun and fire at her....

The next thing I knew, I was back in (y/n)'s room and she was sitting up in her bed, screaming. "Wha-what...what happened? That was some nightmare!" She said. "Actually, you're in a worse one." I said to her and she looks up at me. "Danny!" She exclaimed and goes to hug me. I smile as I hold her tight and she looks up at me then over to her bed and see the broken pieces of the helmets. "What the heck?" She said. "It's a long story!" I said and I begin to explain it to her.

*YOUR POV*

"So this....Nocturne has put everyone to sleep with these helmets just so he can harvest the energy off of our dreams to become powerful?" I asked as I transform into ghost form. "Yes, as of right now, I think I've weakened him but I need everyone's help to take down his army, or Sleepwalkers as they're called and the only way to wake everyone up is to enter in their dreams and scare them awake." Danny replied. "Ok, how about we split up, that way we can get done faster. You go over to Tucker's and wake him up and I'll go over to Sam's." I said. "Sounds like a plan!" Danny said with a smile. "Just be careful, okay?"

"I will." I said and we kissed each other before we go our seperate ways.

I make it over to Sam's house and see that she had on one of those helmets. "Okay, here goes nothing." I muttered and I go intangible and overshadow Sam. Then I appeared at the school's cafeteria. "The cafeteria? C'mon, Sam! I expected better dreams from...." I started to say until I heard Sam's voice. "Can you make room for your girlfriend?"

I look over and see Sam walk up to a table where Dash, Tucker and Danny were sitting in. She goes and sits next to Danny as she said this. "Girlfriend? What?" I said, confused, as Danny places an arm around her. "Sam? H-H-How..?" I stammered as Danny and Sam begin to lean in towards each other and were about to kiss. I gasped as I had to think fast then I look over at Dash and go to overshadow him. "Uh, Sam! I have a confession to make." I made Dash say as I make him stand up, Sam looks up at me in confusion. "I'm Danny Phantom! Going Ghost." And I make Dash transform.

Then I was flung out on Sam's bed as she screams in terror. She looks around her room then sees me. "(Y/N)? What just happened?" She asked. "I'll explain as much as I can, we have to me up the boys over at Tucker's." I replied as I try not to look at her. I get up from the bed when Sam said. "(Y/N), did you see anything?" She asked me.

At first, I stopped at this, my back turned to her. I wanted to say yes and confront her about dreaming of wanting to be with Danny but....I decided nows not the time to argue. "No, I didn't." I said firmly, as I turned to face her and reach my hand out to her. "C'mon, we gotta go."

She takes my hand and the two of us fly out of her room and we met up with Tucker, who's awake now, and Danny in Tucker's room. "Ok, we need to make one more stop." Danny said.

Then we go over to Danny's house and up into Jazz's room. "Any objection to me waking up, Jazz?" Danny asked. "Nope, the more of us the better." Sam said. "Stay alert, I'll be right back." Danny said and he goes and overshadows Jazz. "So, what were you two dreaming about?" Tucker asked us. "Oh, nothing special." Sam said. "Nothing specific. I was just sharing a glass of chocolate milk with two friends who look just like Star." I said as I smile over at Tucker and I heard Sam sniggering. "Hey, that's what I....oh, Danny told you my dream! I'm pretty sure that violates the dude code." Tucker said, annoyed, just as Jazz sits up and screams and Danny pops back into the room.

"Did I just dream that I was a professor at Yale? And married to Dash?!" Jazz asked. "Wow, Dash has become handy lately. Like a poster boy of nightmares." I joked as the boys laugh but I happened to look over at Sam who had an upset look on her face.

Dawn was approaching as the five of us make it to the docks, Tucker holding up a device that was tracking the signal from the helmets which of course lead us to a mattress factory. "A mattress warehouse, of course!" Danny exclaimed as we look up and see an antenna on top of it. "That new antenna must be receiving the signals from all the headsets!" I said as we make our way to the door way of the factory. Danny and I were leaned up agaisnt one side of the door while Jazz, Tucker and Sam were on the other side.

"Everyone cool with the plan?" Danny asked us.

"Take put the army of Creepwalkers." Jazz said.

"Sleepwalkers." Danny corrected.

"You call them what you want, I'll call them what I want. Then use Tucker's PDA to destroy that giant antenna." Jazz said.

"And whatever it's connected to!" I said.

"And then we unleashed the Fenton Ghost Catcher!" Sam's aid as she pulls out the Thermos.

"And we nail them!" Tucker exclaimed as he takes the Thermos out of her hands and into his, only for one of the Sleepwalkers to come up and grab the Thermos, crushing it with his hands.

Suddenly, we were surrounded by Sleepwalkers. "Alright, guys! Let's do it" Danny shouts and we begin to attack the Sleepwalkers. I freeze about three Sleepwalkers then fire ecto-beams at them, Danny did the same as Sam used the ecto-bazooka to fire at a couple of them but it didn't seem to effect them.

She let's out a yell as she backs up and a couple of they grab her and pull her up in the air. Jazz tried to fire at them but Danny and I go up and took down those Sleepwalkers by freezing them and punching them, causing them to drop Sam. She screams and Danny dives down and catch her before she falls. "You okay?" Danny asked her. "Huh, oh, yeah!" She replied. "Cool!" Danny said as he flies back into battle. "Yeah, cool!" Sam said as she smiles over at Danny. I felt anger bubbling up in my chest at this as I turn around and fight some more Sleepwalkers, taking my anger out on them.

Then Danny makes a few Sleepwalkers follow him as he leads them to the others, who had Thermos's, and sucked them in. "Nice teamwork, guys!" Danny said as he and I land on the ground. "Now let's get Nocturne!" He said.

Danny and I kick the door open and enter. Once inside we saw a huge chamber with a large ghost, which I presumed it to be Nocturne, inside of it. "Oh no! No! Nocturne! He's huge!" Danny said a she flies up to the Chamber. "He's absorbing dreams and becoming more powerful! We've got to stop him!" He said and he tries to pull the lid of the Chamber off but it wouldn't budge then Danny punches it, hurting his hand, then he starts to blast it.

"Danny, you need to stay focused!" I said as I fly up next to him. "The longer he's in there...."
