My God is it hot out! I thought to myself as Danny, Sam, Tucker and I were standing outside of City Hall, waiting for Vlad to make a speech. The past few days have just brutal with the heat. It was so hot, Tucker was able to make a fried egg on a good of a car. "Man, I can't ever remember being this hot for so long, can you Danny?" Tucker said as he looks over at Danny, who was extremely angry and annoyed. "Uh oh, looks like Commander Crab is off fighting the happies again!" I said, teasingly, as I placed my fingers on each corner of his mouth, forcing a smile on his face. I removed my fingers from his face and he glares at me while I just stick my tongue out at him.

Tucker begins to dig in his backpack and pulls out a helmet, that looked like his beret, and said. "No worries, my Foley Mood Medler, Paton pending, will clear that up in a flash!" He places the Mood Medler on Danny's head. The thing beeps then dings but Danny still looked angry. "Will you get this thing off of me!" Danny said, annoyed. Tucker takes the helmet off and said. "Must still have some bugs to work out."

"Yeah, in your head!" shouted Danny. "Danny!" I growled just as Vlad comes out and said. "My dearest citizens! Our current heatwave and subsequent water shortage has Amity Park in a state of Emergency! Being as I am your Mayor, and many of you are undoubtedly questioning why or even how you voted for me, I vow that the fortunes of Amity Park are about to change with this!" Vlad said and he pulls out some devixe that looked like an over-sized thermometer. "My very own Rain Machine!" He finished.

"There's no way Vlad's going to make it rain with that thing!" Tucker said in disbelief. "So, why are we even wasting our time here?!" Danny asked. "Because your dad is Vlad's biggest supporter?" I replied, questionably, as we look over and see Mr Fenton in a Vlad mascot suit, shouting at the people.

Danny scoffs. "He's probably going to keep this up until Vlad isn't the mayor anymore!" He said. "Will we have to put up with your cruddy attitude too?" Sam asked him annoyed. "Yeah, seriously." I muttered as I cross my arms across my chest. "I'm sorry guys. I can't help but be embarrassed...and annoyed. It's not like I can turn off my emotions." Danny said. "If only Vlad's machine could change your mood swings, he'd be on to something." Tucker said just as Vlad walks up behind him. "Well, I'll have to work on that, won't I? But for now, my loyal constituents will have to settle for alittle change of weather!" Vlad said and he aims the device into the sky and a purple beam shoots up into the sky.

Seconds go by and nothing happened. "Sorry V-Man! Looks like your weather machines a total---" said Danny but then we heard thunder and I felt a few rains drops before it suddenly started to pour rain. I look up in the sky in shock as the people cheered. Then I look over and see that Vlad has a smug look on his face as one of his guards come up and put an umbrella, which had his face on it, over his head. Soon his guards started handing out umbrellas to everyone as they cheered for the mayor. "Whenever I think Vlad's crazy, I forget to add like a fox!" Sam said. "Seriously, there's no way he actually made it rain!" I said as Vlad's limo drives by and splash a huge puddle of water at me and Danny. I groan as Danny glares after the limo.

There's just no ducking the rain here in Amity Park. And that's the best news in weeks! The drought is over and we have our super neato mayor, Vlad Masters, to thank. We owe you a debt a gratitude and feel free to send us the bill.

I groan as we watch the Lance Thunder have his finger be bitten by a duck. He runs and screams. That's what you get for making a bad pun! I thought as I head up to my room and finish my homework. Afterwhile, the rain was coming down harder and the wind was blowing even faster. "(Y/N)! Get in here, sweetheart!" Dad hollered and I run down the stairs and in to the living room. "Dad, what's going on? The wind sounds alot stronger than it did awhile ago." I said as he points at the TV which had a Breaking News title on it and, once again Lance Thunder appeared on screen.

All residents are advised by Mayor Masters, who is totally to blame for this mess by the way, to board your windows and baton down your hatches. This is Lancer Thunder saying.....

Lance screamed as he was blown away. "This is awful!" Mom exclaimed. "I know and it seems Masters can't catch a break! His approval ratings are like the Stock Market. Keeps going up then it goes down!" Dad said. "He's ruined everything with that weather machine of his!" I said just as our windows break open and the wind and rain blows through. All of us let out a yelp as Dad runs over and grabs wooden boards and we begin to board up the window.

After we finished boarding up the window, Dad and Mom start to talk about what the next plan is until I felt a hand around my ankle and I was pulled down. I was intangible as I look around and see I was heading to the Fenton's then whatever grabbed me stops then pulls something and we fly down into the Fenton lab and I was thrown down face first. Then I heard a groan next to me and I look over to see it was Danny. We look at each other for a moment before we turned to see Vlad Plasmius was the one who grabbed us.

"Plasmius, nice weather we're having!" Danny said, sarcastically, as we get up and face him. "Ah, yes the obligatory weather pun. How original! But I have no time to take exception, I must resort to humiliated desperate measures." Vlad said and he lands on his feet and walks towards us while Danny pushes me behind him, protectively. "Daniel. (Y/N)." Vlad said and we could tell something was bothering him as he gives us a frown and said. "I need your help."

Later, after explaining himself, Danny and I go ghost and we fly toward towards a giant green cloud that was in the shape of a skull with lightening coming out of its eyes. "Nice move, Plasmius." Danny said, sarcastic. "Yeah, unleashing a weather ghost just so you could look good for the voters?!" I said.

"I don't expect for you two to understand my reasons. The important thing is if we're going to defeat Vortex, we're going to have to do it together." Vlad said to us as we make it up the skull. The skull's mouth opens and the tongue unfurls to reveal, who I assume is Vortex. "Come to admire my greatness up close?" He asked Vlad. "Uh, no. I just wanted to introduce you to two friends. Danny and (y/n), Vortex. Vortex, Danny and (y/n). Well gotta fly, ta!" Vlad said and he flies away from us. "My hero." I said, sarcastic, and Danny just rolls his eyes.

"A Ghost Boy and a Ghost Girl." Vortex said as he forms into a green cloud. "So, you two are the ones they call Danny Phantom and Shadow Girl." He said, while taking a breath in between every few words, then duplicates into four clouds, surrounding us.

"Actually, you'll find that we're more than one these days." Danny said then he turns to me. "Just like we practice." He mutters and he and I close our eyes. "Come one, come on." I muttered and I was able to make duplicates of myself. I open my eyes and see Danny was able to as well. "We did!" We said and we begin to fire some ecto-beams at the Vortex clouds. But Vortex just laughs and he opens his mouth and swallows the beams then he takes a deep breath and blows very strong winds at us and our duplicates disappear.

I shake my head and look up to see Vortex forms in a huge version of himself then he make a huge snowball and throws it us, turning us into a huge icicle. We fall but we use our energy and breaking out of the ice and fly straight back up towards Vortex and we try to give him all we got.

Vortex then starts to shoot lightening beams at us about we fly up and over and around to avoid the beams but then we were knocked by a shockwave that was caused when one of the beams hit the side of a building.

We fall down against the pavement, making a crater. I groan as Danny gets up and helps me up. "You okay?" He asked me. "Yeah, I thinks so." I groaned as Vortex floats down towards us and said. "Your deary efforts bore me, ghost kids. I was expecting alittle more....eletricfying performance from you two." He raises his arms at us and shoots out electrical beams at us but we block it with our shield.

Then I fly toward him, my hands glowing with ecto energy when Vortex let's out a wail, similar to Danny's Ghostly Wail, and I was blown back as I tumble back. "(Y/N)!" I hear Danny shout then I look up to see him fly towards Vortex as well but Vortex uses the same wail in him. He tries to fight it bit it was too strong and he was blown back and lands right next to me.

Then suddenly we were picked up in the air as Vortex laughs and and shoots out a beam from his eyes at us and I felt like I was being electrocuted. Danny and I screamed as Vortex threw another ball of electrical energy at us and we were blown back and slammed into a building, causing it to fall on top of us.

I don't know how long I was out, but I groan as I look and see that I was a human again and start to push some of the rubble off of me. Danny starts to help and we pop out to see that the rain stopped and the sun was out, finally. We look out to see Tucker and Sam down at the foot of the rubble and a bunch of other people as well. Then the people begin to laugh at us. I look at them confused when I look over and see Danny was wearing a vest, a bra and a giraffe floaty and a helmet with a snorkel. I look down at myself and see I'm wearing the same floaty, shoulder pads, and a helmet.

I pull off my helmet as does Danny and we glare down at the people, suddenly I felt a huge wave of anger building up into my chest. "Hey! Quit laughing at us!" Danny growled and dark clouds form and lightening strikes. "Oh, great! More weather fun." Sam said. "Calm down, everyone. Calm down. Mayor Masters is here, rest assured everything's fine." Vlad said as he walks up out of the crowd. "You! Do you have any clue what you've done!" Danny and I growled, angrily, and a huge tornado forms and chases after Vlad.

But as Vlad ran we see the Fenton's RV drives up and ends up in the way of of the tornado. "No!" Danny screamed, as I felt fear in my chest, and the tornado disappears, then RV falls on top of a tree. Danny and I remove the clothing items off of us and we run towards the tree.

"Danny! (Y/N), wait!" Sam screamed after us. We turned to face them as Danny said. "We gotta go help my parents!"

"Your parents are fine! It's you two we're worried about." Tucker said, glaring at us. "Call us nuts, but we saw the weather change three times in sync with your moods." Sam said to us. "That's preposterous!" Vlad said as he walks up to us, and I felt a wave of anger again my chest. "Back off, Masters!" I shouted and a small storm cloud forms over his head and lightening starts to shoot him. He screams in pain and starts to run away from the cloud by the cloud kept electrocuting him.

"See what we mean!" Tucker said. "I have felt alittle....tingly since that lightening bolt hit my force field." Danny replied then he turns to me. "You?" He asked. "Yeah, same here. And I've been feeling this overwhelming wave of emotions that I don't think are my own." I said. "The electricity passing through your shields must've caused you two to absorb some of Vortex's weather controlling power. And it somehow has made a connection between you two, so the emotions you are feeling are probably Daniel's emotions." Vlad said then he jumps and runs away as the small cloud chases him again.

"Meaning you need to calm down before we have another storm like the last one." Sam said to Danny. Danny takes a deep breathe and I felt a wave of calmness wash over me as the clouds disappear and the sun shines. "I've heard of sunny dispositions, but this is nuts." Danny said.

Later, Vlad took us to his office as Sam and Tucker try everything they can to keep Danny calm. "Curses! Just when I'm the verge of triumph, the roller coaster emotions of teenagers threaten my plans!" Vlad exclaimed as he paces his room and I felt a wave of annoyance at Vlad. "Hey! You brought the guy here in the first place!" I said annoyed and then a strong gust of wind blows in through the windows and almost blows Sam, Tucker and Vlad away. Sam and Tucker struggle over to me and Danny and shouted. "Calm down." I look over at Danny and the both of us take a deep breathe and the wind dissipates.

"Easy, you two. Keep it mellow!" Sam said, calmly. "The implications are serious, you two. Your anger could cause cyclones, your sadness monsoons! You two are going to have to remain here and stay calm until your friends can find Vortex and bring him back here!" Vlad said to us. "What about you?" Tucker asked, annoyed.

"Negative! The mayor's absence in the wake of disaster would create civic unease." Vlad replied to him. "Uh-huh, along with the instant end of your political career and all subsequent evil plans." Sam said, folding her arms. Vlad let's out a chuckle and said. "Touche' I'm afraid I'll have to take it upon myself to keep Danny and (y/n) safe and calm until ypu two complete the task." Then I felt a wave of anger as Danny stands up from the chair and said. "Us stay with you?!" I balled up my fist and both of us said, angrily. "Forget it!" Then a small cloud forms over Vlad's head and begins to pour down rain on top of him. "Will you two quit doing that!" Vlad shouts at us as the cloud disappears.

"Look on the bright side, you two. Until we get back, he's going to have to cater to your every whim and desire!" Tucker said to us as he smiles over at Vlad. "Yeah, he wouldn't want to make you two....angry." said Sam as she looks over at Vlad, who gives us an aww crap look. Danny look over and me and I smile. "This pleases us." We said in unison.

Later on, Vlad brought us to his house and made us lunch. I had (fav food) while Danny had a sandwhich. But as he took out a bite of it, I felt annoyance as he spits out the sandwhich and said. "Hello! I specifically said No tomato!" Vlad looks over at us from out of the kitchen, holding a sundae, when a small tornado forms and follows Vlad as he runs, casuing destruction and mayhem in his house. I gave a small chuckle when I felt a wave of happiness way over me. I look over and see Danny staring at me, smiling, the tornado gone. "Sorry, I just think you're cute when you giggle like that." He said and I blush at this while Vlad recovers from having to run around his house.

Later, Vlad took us to Gamer Con that was going on at the convention center and both him and Danny were playing a game while I stand next to Danny and watched. "Thanks for taking us to the Vid-Convention, Unkie Vlad." Danny said as they play the game. "Oh, don't mention it, dear boy. If this makes you two happy, then so be it. You know how much I care for you and your girlfriend." Vlad replied when suddenly his character shoots Danny's character.

"Ha! Eat that wimp!" Vlad exclaimed and at that moment I felt a wave of anger again. "Hey, no fair!" Danny growled then the room started to feel extremely hot. It was so hot that the sprinklers came on, destroying all the arcade games. I pull out the 'weather machine' and said. "Gee, looks like your rain machine works like a charm, Mister Mayor." I said as I glare at Vlad with a smile and I felt a prideful feeling as I look down towards Danny, who was smiling up at me with admiration. I wink at him while the manager of the convention center walks up and said. "Yeah, and now you're going to have to buy every ruined video game in the place, Mister Mayor." Vlad glares at him as he pulls out his checkbook and pen and begin to write out a check.

That evening, we were back at Vlad's house, along with the ruined arcade games, and Danny and i were sitting in rocking chairs as Vlad was paying the movers who brought the games to the house. "This has been a great time, Unkie Vlad. We must have to the our emotions to the weather more often." Danny said. "And I'm really looking forward to that foot massage." I said and Danny nods. "Yeah, same here." He said. "Anything for you, my dears. Keeping you two calm and happy is my motto you know." Vlad said as I close my eyes and rock back and forth as I relax.

Then suddenly I felt a hand grab my shirt and I was tossed out of the house. Danny lands next to me and we look up to see Vortex looming over us. Then he turns into two version of himself. One blue and one red then they fly off into different directions. We look up to see Vlad has now transformed into his ghost form. "Unkie Vlad?" Danny asked. "Let's go, water kids!" Vlad said and he grabs the front of our shirts and flies us towards Vortex.

"Vortex! Stop this insanity and remove the children's weather ability at once!" Vlad shouted at Vortex and throws is like a football. We fly through the air until we hit the Fenton Jet, which had Sam and Tucker inside. "Hey guys, perfect timing! We could use your help. I can't believe I'm saying this but....Tucker, I need your virtual reality helmet." Danny said and Tucker smiles at this. We phase inside the jet and go ghost.

"We need to harness your mood powers to defeat Vortex." Tucker said as Danny puts on Tucker's backpack and Sam puts the helmet inside. "No problem, maestro. Play me like a violin!" Danny said as he phases through the roof of the jet and I fly after him.

"Hey Vortex! Today's forcast: partly cloudy with a chance of pain!" I shouted at him and both Danny and I fire ecto beams at him but he raises his hand to block them. "Ha! Is that the best you two can do? I am invincible!" Vortex shouted and he fires his own ecto-beams at us but we summon up a shield to block it. Then I dig into the backpack and pull out the helmet and put it on Danny's head. "Okay Tucker! Let's do it!" Danny said as mechanical arms hold the both of us down. Unfortunately, Tucker only had one helmet which was fine since Danny and I shared a weird emotional link, our weather power would be stronger.

I see that the helmet comes on and I see Danny make a small smile then he gasps and I felt annoyed and angry as he said. "Ugh! Darn it Dash!" Then a tornado forms and grabs Vortex and slams him against a few buildings. "This is not my nature." Vortex exclaimed. Then I felt sad as Danny said. "Aww, such cute animals. They all look so...sad." I frown as I felt tears form in my eyes and its starts to rain. "The elements are mine to control!" Vortex said and he lets out a roar. Then I felt a huge wave of happiness as Danny smiles and the sun starts to shine.

Vortex screams in pain as he starts to shrink. "Okay, guys. Now!" Sam shouts over the speakers. I smile as the arms let's us go and Danny takes of the helmet and we fly towards Vortex. He looks up at us then shocks us with more electrical energy beams. But then it stopped as the Fenton jet shot Vortex and knocked him against a building.

We fly towards him and land in front of him as he glares up at us. "Very clever, ghost punks! But let's see if you two can handle this!" He shouts then he points at us then we heard something shorting out. "WHAT?! I'm....powerless?" Vortex asked confused. Danny and I raise our hands and said, in unison. "And we're not!" And we shoot him with ecto-beams.
