The next day, my parents and I were over at the Fenton's house when suddenly the ground begins to shake. I stood up and ran to the door and saw The dome above our heads begins to crack. Pieces of it fall near people on the street, who run screaming. I run over to the door to get a better look and see not only has the dome trapped the town, it has transported us into the Ghost Zone! "(Y/N)!" I heard my mother scream as The Skeleton Armies, spring to life and march down the streets. I gasp as Mr and Mrs Fenton run out and see what was going on. "(Y/N)! Come back inside!" Mom and Mrs Fenton shout and I run inside as one of the skeletons run at me.

The Fentons run down to the basement, my parents, Mr Gray, Valerie and I not far behind them, where they set up a camera and Mr Gray and Dad run over to panel with a giant screen. "Citizens of Amity Park! This is Jack and Maddie Fenton!" Mr Fenton announced. "Hi everybody!" Mrs Fenton greeted cheerfully, but she turns back into serious mode when Mr Fenton continues.

"Malevolent spirits have pulled our entire town into dimension known to us humans as--the Ghost Zone." Mr Gray turns to them and said. "I'm launching the Ghost Zone probe now." Then he presses a red button while my dad places a hand over a lever. "I'm increasing the Ghost Shield's radius to protect the city." He said as he moves the lever upwards.

"The fact that we are currently in an alternate form of reality would be a lot cooler if it weren't for the fact that we are all in mortal danger." Mr Fenton said to the camera while my parents and Mr Gray look over the computer screen and radar. "The Ghost Shield's cranked to capacity, and our probe of the Ghost Zone is operational." Dad said as Valerie runs out of the room.

Suspicious, I follow her and see her go outside and go to the side of the Fenton's house. "Valerie?" I said as she starts to pull out her hunting gear. "(Y/N)! What are you doing?" She asked, angrily. "Wondering what you're doing. It's very dangerous out here and your...." I said as I gesture towards her gear. "Look, you need to get back inside where you're safe." Valerie said before she doubles over and groans.

"Are you crazy? You're no fit to fight, I'm coming with you." I said.

"What do you know about ghost hunting?" Val asked me.

"Hello! My boyfriend's parents are ghost hunters, you didn't think I would've pick up a few tips and tricks from them, did ya?" I said and Val rolled her eyes but she looks off to the side for a moment. "Come on, Val. Let me help you." I plead. She looks over at me then smiles and nods. She puts on her suit then clicks her heels and a jet glider appears. She reaches out to me and I take her hand and the two of us fly over the city Amity Park.

"For your own safety, please run under the Fenton Anti-Ghost Shield--Where our daughter Jazz will be serving tea and cookies! And boys--She's single!" I hear Mrs Fenton say over the public TV speakers. "Mom!" Jazz groaned.

"But more than anything, know this: This is not my fault! I repeat, this is not my fault!" Mr Fenton shouted as we fly across the city and see, over at the football field, a tall ghost wearing black armor, an eye patch, horns, and a red cape. I have a hunch that this is the Ghost King. He was holding up his fist and I noticed there was two people clenched in his fist. "Val! He has Danny and Mr Masters!" I gasped and Val picks up her huge ecto-gun and aims it at the ghost.

"Hey Stoneface! Surprise!" She shouts and fires the gun, a pink ecto goo lands on his face. I pull out and aim my gun and started firing at the Fright Knight, who was blown backwards. "Nice shot!" Val complimented as The Ghost King drops Danny and Vlad.

We fly in as Pariah wipes the ectoplasm from his face and shoots a laser at us from his working eye. Val drops the gun to avoid the laser, and almost looses her balance. I raise the ecto gun and fire back at the Ghost King until we crash into a pole. We fall on the ground. I groan in pain as I sit up and Valerie prepares a missile which was on her wrist...but it shorts out.

"Oww!" She screamed and she pulls her glove off and holds her hand, which was the hand that had the ring. "The Ring! Give that to the King NOW!" the Fright Knight ordered. Val looks up at him then she takes the ring off, takes out a bazooka, and puts the ring on the tip of the missile. "If you want it, then go get it!" She shouts as she powers up and fires the missile, It goes somewhere real far away. The Ghost King flies after it.

"That can't be good." I said as Valerie drops the weapon, while I stand up and kept firing at the Knight and we run. We get on her hoverboard and fly off, grabbing Vlad and Danny and narrowly missing getting Soul Shredded on the way.

The Knight follows us, firing beams from his sword at her, which we dodge. One beam hits one of her hoverboard's boosters, and we go down.

Fortunately, we land inside the Ghost Shield. The Knight tries to follow us in, but crashes into the Shield. As we get up, he tries to hack at the shield, but with no avail. "This...Is...Not...Over!" He screams at as Val picks up Vlad and I pick Danny up and we walk over to her glider. We jump on the glider and fly back towards Danny's house.

We fly straight into Danny's room. She drops Vlad into a chair, I drop Danny on his bed, and then Val retracts her outfit and hoverboard. She now seems more beat than before. "Val? You okay?" I asked as I land next to Danny's bed. She stumbles and falls against the wall and slides down to the floor. "Yeah, I just....Maybe I'll just rest...for a second." She said and she faints.

I nod as I start to feel very tired and sore. I fall back on Danny's bed and I fall asleep next to him.

*DANNY'S POV*

I wake up and gasped when I realized I was in my room. How long have I been out? I thought as I look over and see Valerie on the floor, passed out and beaten. I gasped until I look next to me and see (y/n) passed out as well and she had a few bruises on her face. I place my hand on her cheek and look her over her bruised face. I kiss her forehead as I felt tears in my eyes. I get up from the bed and check on Valerie.

"Danny! You're okay!" Sam exclaimed as she and Tucker rush into the room. "Whoa. What happened to them?" She asked. "You name it. Fright Knight, Ghost King, Vlad--All of my enemies. Everything I thought I could handle, but couldn't." I replied as I look over Valerie then walked over to (y/n). I sit on the edge of my bed and cradle her head up and hold her close to my chest. "Dude, you can't blame yourself for this. It's not your fault." Tucker said, reassuring me. "Maybe not. But it is my responsibility." I said, firmly, and I set (y/n) back on my pillow. I stand up and transform. I grab my friends, turn all of us intangible, and phase through the floor into the basement.

Down there, many 'authority' figures are gathered, including Sam's parents, Mr. Foley, (y/n)'s parents, the Mayor, and the police, among others. My parents were standing by some big thing covered in a tarp. "And while the Ecto-Skeleton can enhance your natural abilities one-hundred fold--Using it could be fatal." Mom said as she pulls the tarp to reveal the finished Ecto-Skeleton. "Which is exactly why I'll be using it. Because if the suit's going to be killing anyone, it's gonna be me." Dad said until mom slaps the back of his head, knocking him down.

"You're already weak from the first time you used the suit. I'll be going in." she said until Jazz comes up and slaps her down as well. "Forget it, Mom. Danny needs both of you. I'm doing this." Jazz said then she was knocked down by Sam's dad then he was knocked down by (y/n)'s dad then he was knocked down and so on and so forth. "I thought I was going to have to blast everybody with a ghost ray, but this is much more efficient." I said. Sam looks at me with concern and said. "What? Danny, no, you can't!"

"I'm the only one who has a chance to save our lives." I replied as we land on the ground. "Somebody oughta tell her that." Tucker said as he points ahead. I look and see Valerie, in her hunting suit, standing over the knocked out adults. "I'm afraid I'm gonna hafta ask you to step away from the suit!" I ordered. "Back off, spook. I don't know how you got inside the Fenton's Ghost Shield--But this is my fight!" Valerie replied as she looks over at me. "No, it's not. Not anymore." I said.

Suddenly, Mr. Gray walks in, holding some tools. He drops them and gasps as the scene sinks in. "Hey! What's going on in here?" he asked as I see Sam and Tucker sneak out of the basement behind him, leaving me and Valerie to deal with this ourselves. "You're not the boss of me!" Valerie shouted at me. Then I grabbed her hood and snatched it off to reveal herself to her dad. She screams in fear as I said. "Nope. But he is."

"Valerie?" Mr Gray asked, shocked. "AAAAHH! You're dead for this, you hear me? DEAD!" Valerie shouted at me then she whips out some ectoguns. But her dad grabs her away and tries to hold her down. I fly up, grab the suit, intangifies, and fly the suit through the roof, leaving father and daughter to themselves.

*YOUR POV*

I wake up and groan as I look around to see the room was empty. "Danny? Valerie?" I said as I get up and walk out of Danny's room. "Hello?" I called out until I see Sam and Tucker walking towards me. "Guys!" I said. "(Y/N)!" They shouted as they run to me and hug me. "You're okay!" Tucker said as I smile at them. "Where's Valerie? And Danny?" I asked.

Sam and Tucker look at me with concern and they take my hand and we head upstairs. We make it to the roof and opened the door and see Danny inside of the Ecto-Skeleton suit. "I can see you over there, you know." Danny said as he looks over his shoulder.

The three of us walk over to him. "Danny, please." Sam pleaded. "C'mon, guys. You didn't think it was always going to be as easy as shoving the Box Ghost into the Fenton Thermos, did you? I'll be back." Danny reassures. "Your mom used the word fatal." Tucker said, looking down sadly, while my eyes widen and look up at Danny.

"Guys, I'll be back." Danny reassures again while I look up at him. "Danny, don't." I plead but he kneels next to me. "I promise (y/n), I'll come back." He said. I look down at my feet and then I see the giant robotic hand of the suit reach out towards me and tilts my head up to face Danny. He smiles at me and I just smile back at him. "I love you, (y/n)." Danny said. "I love you too, Danny." I said just as the wind picks up and the Ghost King's face appears in the sky. "Humans! Hear my decree!" he screams.

"Well, that's my cue. Tuck, I'll need you to drop the Ghost Shield on my way out, okay?" Danny ordered. "Okay. Be careful, dude." Tucker said and he runs off to the side. Danny nods then he looks at me while I give him a smile. Sam nods at him then the two of us move out of the way as not only does Danny transforms but the suit transforms with him as well. Then he bends his knees and flies upwards.

*3RD PERSON POV*

Danny takes off, going faster that he could before, blowing his friends back. As he flies over Amity Park, hears cheers from the people. "Go get 'im, Inviso-Bill!" Paulina cheered. " It's not Inviso-Bill! It's Phantom! DANNY PHANTOM!" Danny shouted, annoyed as he flies close to the Ghost Shield Tucker uses the PDA to temporarily knock out the shield, Danny flies through. He is now out of the safety of town, ready to kick some butt.

As he flies out, he looks back on the town and think about his friends, family and especially you, hoping that this wouldn't be the last time he would see you guys. He turns back ahead and grts shock as he sees thousands upon thousands of Skeletons blocking the way to the Keep, they look armed and ready. The ones closest to the Keep are riding skeletal dragons. Together, they look like more than a match for Danny. "Maybe if I tried to pick these guys off one at a time..." Danny said as the finger of the battlesuit opens up, pushing out a tiny blue ectoplasmic ball. It lands in front of some of the ghosts, then explodes, sending up a huge blast, getting rid of many Skeletons. They look up at Danny, angrily, as Danny exclaims. "Ha ha! One hundred fold, huh? THAT doesn't reek!"

Danny, happy with his newfound power, forms a full-sized blast on his hand and fires it, making all the little skeletons fly up in the air. However, the effort weakens him considerably. His battery is down to 98%, but it goes right back up. "Whoa. Okay. Gotta be smart about how much of my own power I use at once." He says to himself as He looks down. Some Skeletons are preparing to shoot arrows at him. He puts up a blue ghost shield to deflect the arrows. "STILL NOT REEKING!" He shouts.

He fires more blasts at the Skeletons. Finally, as he lands on the land, a bunch of Skeletons tackle him, forming a very large pile. But, with effort, he makes all the Skeletons on top of him explode. He is weakened even more, however. Before the Skeletons can take him again, an anonymous ectoblast shoots down, annihilating some of the Skeletons. It came from the Specter Speeder, driven by you, Sam and Tuck.

"In general, I'm pretty opposed to violence, but I'm willing to make an exception in this case." Sam said while Danny looks up at you three in horror.

"Get out of here, guys! It's too dangerous for you to be here!" Danny said.

"We're not staying. We're just making a delivery." You say as every ghost Danny knows, and a few he doesn't, come out of the bottom of the Speeder. Then you, Sam and Tucker fly away.

"How did they cram all of you into the Specter Speeder?" Danny asked them. "Hey! Ever been inside your stupid Thermos? Compared to that, it was the Taj Mahal in there!" Ember replied while Skulker raises his fist. "Less talking, more FIGHTING!" He said as weapons pop up from every conceivable place on his body.

"Beware! For my place of employment has given me a new weapon! The Bubble Wrap--OF DEATH!" Box Ghost shouted as Klemper uses his ice breath on some of the Skeletons, freezing them, and the Box Ghost wraps them in his Bubble Wrap, and Klemper pushes them off the land. "Now will you be my friend?" Klemper asked him. "NEVER!" Box Ghost shouts.

The Dragon Ghost, ridden by Poindexter, spews flame at the skeletons. Ember takes out a skeletal dragon with a power chord. She misses the next one, which is smashed by Skulker a second later. He turns around to face Danny and Ember. "Now, go! Defeat him! So I will be free to hunt you another day!" He said to Danny. "Guy really knows how to motivate ya." Danny said to Ember, who just smiles. Danny flies into the Keep and reaches the doors to the throne room. "Well, this is it." He mutters to himself and he blows the doors open.

Standing right there is Pariah Dark. Danny growls angrily. "A little ragged round the edges, eh, child?" Pariah asked, a smirk forming on his face. "Whaddya say...We ditch the snappy patter and get right to the part where I kick your butt!" Danny said as he flies closer to Pariah. "Very well, I accept your challenge!" Pariah shouted and the battle was on!

He flies towards Danny. Danny puts up a shield to stop him. His power is now at 40%, and his strength is limited, he becomes very tired. He fires ectoplasm at Pariah, which knocks him into his throne. He is now weaker than ever. Pariah gets up. "Having that much power, it's a burden, isn't it, child?" Pariah asked as

He throws his mace at Danny. He jumps up to dodge it, but it just comes back around. It hits him in the back and comes back to its owner's hand. Once that's over with, Pariah kicks Danny. Danny flies into the wall. He gets up, sweating. "The power isn't the burden. The burden is in how I use it. And I've been using it poorly lately." Danny replied and focuses very, very hard.

After a bit of focusing, for the first time, he is able to generate clones. Danny now has 25% power. The Dannies then fly at Pariah. The Dannies hit Pariah with beams from all directions. Angered, Pariah swings his mace at one of the Danny clones, making him disappear. One of the Dannies gets Pariah in the back, knocking him over. The three remaining Dannies walk up to him. "Now leave my town ALONE!" they scream and they begin to beat up Pariah.

That is until Pariah aims a beam at one of the clones, making him disappear. "Surrender, child! You can't possibly win!" Pariah said. "I don't have to win." Danny remarked as his other clone fires his blasts at the wall, revealing the Sarcophagus of Forever Sleep. "I just have to make sure that you lose!" Danny shouted as the other clone flies up and holds the Sarcophagus open for Pariah then turns a d fires a bit of ectoplasm, knocking off the Crown of Fire. Danny catches it.

"No! NO!" Pariah screams, realizing that he's losing.

Danny throws the crown aside, then flies up and, with extreme difficulty, pushes Pariah into the Sarcophagus. The first clone closes it. The second clone, all worn out, retracts back into Danny.

A whitish-blue oval of light surrounds both the Sarcophagus and Amity Park. The Sarcophagus of Forever Sleep shakes violently. Danny groans, almost at his limit.

10%...9%...8%...

Pariah still doesn't wanna sleep.

7%...6%...5%...

Danny is now sweating from exhaustion. He slumps down. Just as he is about to die and Pariah is about to break loose, unleashing all heck on both worlds, an anonymous black-gloved hand turns the Skeleton Key in the lock, sealing Pariah back in.

"No! Nooo!" Pariah screams one last time before he is sealed in the Sarcophagus, forever.

After he is locked in, the Ghost Zone sky over Amity Park reverts back to a normal sky. The residents cheer. The Skeletons, still in town, turn brown and crumple to dust.

Back at the Keep, Danny looks over and saw that he black-gloved hand belonged to Vlad Plasmius, who is standing with the Fright Knight and all the other ghosts. "I don't understand..." Danny said. "What? That I used two 14-year-old pawns to turn a knight, and topple a king? It's chess, Daniel. Of course you don't understand, but-but then you never really did." Vlad replied as Danny's vision begins to waver then he loses consciousness completely.

*DANNY'S POV*

"Danny?"

"Danny?"

I groan as I open my eyes to see who was calling my name. Turned out that the voice I heard was (y/n), who was the first person I couls see. "Huh, huh...what?" I said, subconsciously. I look around and ses I'm in his room, on his bed. Standing around me are my family, Sam, Tucker, Valerie and her father, and (y/n) and her parents. Valerie is in bandages, including a cast on her left arm. Vlad comes out from behind Mr. Gray. I look down and noticed that I'm in human form.

"You gave us quite a scare there, little badger." Vlad said to me. "Vladdie said he'd found you just outside the dump after the town flickered back to reality. He saved your life." said Dad. "Things might have been weird there for a while, but if Vlad saved your life then I say, bygones." Mom said as she waves a hand, plaintively. "And you will always be welcome in our home, V-man. You can stay in Danny's room!" Dad exclaimed, excitedly.
