《Danny Phantom x Female!Reader》Chapter 36: Pirate Radio

Danny and I were laying on top of the Fenton Works emergency ops center, looking up at the starry sky. The both of us just finished eating our dinner and just laid down to relax. It had been awhile since Danny and I had any alone time that didn't involve ghosts. "Clear skies and no moon. A perfect night for stargazing." I said, dreamily, as I laid my head on Danny's chest and he wrapped his left arm around my shoulder and the both of us were looking up at the sky.
"You know what? I actually miss this. Just you and me, alone, with no interruptions." Danny said as I look up at him. He looks down at me then places his hand on my cheek. I smile and the two of us lean in and kiss each other, which slowly turned into a make-out session.
Until the music, from the radio Danny brought up, starts to play a very new age dull sounding music. "Although, This music is putting me to sleep. Can't we listen to something else?" Danny asked me as we looked over at the radio. I sit up and turn over to the radio and start to mess with the dials but every station was playing the same song. "Survey says no." I replied.
Suddenly, a pirate ship appears in the sky, making us jump. Then a few pirate ghosts throw ropes down and they jumped down in front of us. "Survey says going ghost!" Danny shouts and he transforms as he stands up and gets into a fighting stance. Then a figure appears on the ship then flies towards us to reveal a small kid in a pirate captain's clothes and a skeletal parrot on his shoulder. "Avast ye...Aw man, what's the word?" he asked his parrot.
"Scurvey dogs." the parrot replied.
"Right. Avast ye scurvey dogs! Prepare to be boarded by Captain Youngblood and his skeleton crew." the kid, Youngblood, said. Danny flies up to him and asked. "Hey isn't it past your bedtime, kid?"
That seemed to be the wrong thing to say as Youngblood pulls out a sling shot and aims it at Danny. At the end of the string, appeared a ball of energy and it hits Danny, sending him flying back. "Don't call me kid! I'm mature beyond me years!" Youngblood shouted at him while his crew starts to head for some of the equipment. "Hey!" I shouted as I pull out the Jack-O-Nines-Tails and swing it at the pirates. I was able to hit a couple but one of then grabbed the middle of the rope and pulled it, making me tumble to the side.
I miss the side for me to grab on and fall off the side of the house. I screamed as I see the Fenton Works emergency ops center go higher and higher while I fall to the ground. "(Y/N)!" I hear Danny exclaim and he flies towards me and catches me before I hit the ground.

He flies us back up towards the tower just as the pirates took away an equipment and start to load it on their ship. "Oh no! They're stealing my dad's ghost shield generator!" Danny exclaimed as they board their ship and then disappear into thin air. "Well, so much for a quite night." I muttered as Danny sets me down on the tower then looks over the tower. "Dad's gonna be really ticked once he sees that this is gone." Danny said. "I'm sorry, Danny. I tried to stop them." I said but Danny waved his hand. "You don't need to apologize, (y/n). It's not your fault." He said. "I'm just glad you're safe."
I smile at him and kissed his cheek. I move away and look down at my watch and see the time. "Oh my gosh! I need to get home." I said as I began to head towards the door to enter the house. Danny grabs my shoulder and said. "Here, I'll take you home." Then he picks me up, carries me in his arms and flies me home
Once we make it to my house, I kiss him goodnight and head inside to get ready for bed.
The next day, I walk down to the kitchen and see my parents listening to that weird music from the portable radio we have on the kitchen counter. Both of them looked like they were really relaxed and really spaced out. I roll my eyes and go over and make a bowl of cereal as I listened to the stupid music. The beat sounded vaguely familiar but I couldn't place it as I sat down at the table, next to my folks, and ate breakfast.
Afterwhile, I couldn't take it anymore and I go over to the counter and reach for the dial on the radio.
"(Y/N)!" My parents shouted, angrily, at me.
I jumped and look over at them to see they have a disapproving look on their face. "Mom, dad, fyi when you're fourteen easy listening isn't that easy. Could I please turn this off?" I begged them.
"No!" they shouted in unison.
"You can't possibly like this music that much." I said, gesturing towards the radio. "I do, dear. It relaxes me." Mom said in a relaxed tone. "Same here." Dad said in the same tone. "Seriously?" I said, annoyed, but they don't respond to me as they sit there at the table in a daze. I scowl and pick up my backpack and head to school.
"I don't get it. The ghost shield's gone and it barely registers a blip on the parental radar." Danny said as all four of us walk down the halls of Casper High.
"My parents have been acting kinda flaky, too. All they do is listen to that new age vapor drone that's playing on every station." Sam replied.

"Same here, this morning they snapped at me for almost turning the radio off." I said.
"Tell me about it. My folks crank it 24/7. Must be a generational thing." Tucker remarked.
"And the worst part, I can't get it out of my head!" All four of us say together as we hold our hands to our ears until we heard the familiar tune.
"Wait, you hear it, too?" The four of us asked together and we make a run for it as we follow the music.
The music lead us to the gym, where Mr Lancer was sitting in the radio booth, that was atop of the bleachers. "Since we announced our new school radio station, an annonymous donor has been kind enough to provide us with these promotional, and incredibly soothing, vinyl albums." Mr Lancer said through the speakers.
"Vinyl? What is this, the stone age?" Tucker asked, appalled.
"Of course you kids should feel free to, as you might say, bust out your own freaky beats. As long as they're not too freaky or too, uh, beaty." Lancer said as the whole student body stares at him while Danny runs up to the booth and stands next to him. "Sweet! Where do I sign up to yank this crud off the air?" He asked as he turns off the music.
"Fenton a DJ? Yeah, right. Who would ever listen to you?" Dash asked him.
"I'll show you who will listen." Danny said them he moves the microphone towards his mouth and said. "What do we want?!" Nobody cheered or anything. "Um, this is the part where you say good music. What do we want?!" Danny said again. Tucker, Sam and I look at each other with uncertainty then we said, hesitantly. "Um, good music?"
Dash then shoves Danny to the side and grabs the microphone. "What do we want?" he asked.
"Good music!" the students shout.
"When do we want it?" Dash asked but instead of the studnets replying to him another voice says. "Now!" and then Youngblood and his crew appear in the gym.
Everyone screamed and ran away. "That's the Ghost that stole the Ghost shield!" I told Tucker and Sam as Youngblood says. "Avast ye bildrats!" Then he turns to his parrot and asked. "Bildrats is right isn't it?" The parrot nods at him and Youngblood smiles. "Our plunder lies afore!" He exclaimed as he points at the treadmills.
"Hate to break this to you guys, but you can't build muscle tone without muscle." Danny, now in his ghost form, said as he starts to beat up some of the pirates. When he finished, he flies towards Youngblood. "Another playdate with captain kid." He said.
Youngblood raises his hooked hand and shoots several hooks at Danny and they all attached to Danny's arms and legs and pinned him against the wall. "Get the stuff and let's go." Youngblood shouted and his crew grabs the equipment and they float up through the roof while Danny frees himself and tries to go after them.
Later, Danny informed us that they got away before he could get to them as we walked home that afternoon. "So what do ghost pirates want with exercise equipment?" Tucker asked. "I can't help thinking it has something to do with this lousy music." Danny replied as we approach his house. "We have to counteract it somehow. Send some real music out into the airwaves." Sam said. Then she gasped, she's got an idea. "We should start our own radio station!" She exclaimed. "And where would we get the equipment to do that?" I asked her. She smiles and points to the emergency ops center. Danny chuckles. "No way."
Later the four of us enter the kitchen and Danny says, firmly. "Mom, dad! I really wanna use the emergency ops center to start a radio station." The four of us look around and see that nobody was around. The only thing in the kitchen that was out of the ordinary was a brochure, with a sticky note attached to it, laying on the table. "That's a yes!" Sam said, happily, as she raises her fists.
Danny goes over to the table and picks up the brochure and reads the note. "Your mother, sister and I are on a weekend getaway fun cruise. We're sure you will take charge and act responsibly. Love mom and dad." He reads then he pulls the note off and reads the brochure. "M.Bersback Cruise Lines. Weird. They went on a fun cruise with Jazz? Who isn't fun in the least. You know what this means." Danny said.
Minutes later, Sam kicks the door to the ops center open and smiles. "Cool. They left it open for us." She said. "The music, the pirate ghosts, my parents, and now this cruise ship? Something weird's going on and we need to get to the bottom of it." Danny said. "So your family's takin' a cruise. What's the worst that could happen?" Tucker asked.

Then he met Palazar, the vampire, who showed him salvation, and turned him into a vampire. _________________________________________________________________________________________ Hello there. This is my second series, also about vampires. I've always been fascinated with vampires, since childhood, so I decided to write a few different, unique books about them. My first book, Rise of the Vampires is about just that, and how the progenitor rises to power in a world of mixed High Fantasy, and Xianxia. This book however, is different, again. This is more traditional, in the sense that it isn't high fantasy, but closer to low fantasy. It begins in a time period similar to Ancient Greece, but it will travel through time, showing various ages. The vampire world will be similar to the World of Darkness, or Vampire the Masquerade. It's not a female romance book, as it will have action and stuff. But yeah, the books will follow Parmasus as he lives through the ages, becoming older and stronger. Also Rated 18+ for violence, gore, harsh language, explicit sex, etc.
