《The Ninth Eeveelution》Rocks

I proceeded to stay in the state of limbo between being awake and asleep in the pokeball for multiple days. I never needed to get out of the pokeball, and from the small ball, I watched Ash battle the rock specialist gym leader, who had these weird colored rocks in his hair.
Ash, after defeating one of his pokemon, with one of his own down, had to switch his pokemon. He reached his hand over and lifted me off his belt.
Alright then. I could use a stretch.
I heard Ash shouting my name as I materialized onto the hard rock battle field.
I gained feeling in my body once again and I stared at my opponent, a Tyrunt. The beast stood on two strong legs with claws with a slightly scaly brown backside that ran all the way up it's dinosaur-like body to it's oversized mouth.
"Some fancy new pokemon isn't gonna beat me." The gym leader declared. His name was Grant, apparently. "Use Draco meteor!"
Tyrunt faced upward before roaring violently, making my ear ring a little. Falling rocks heated with colored flame dropped from above, right toward me.
"Ghasteon! Use Ghost Chain and catch those meteors!"
I stepped into a stance, but it took me a while to properly process his request. He wanted me to catch them with what? I could just use psychic.
Usually, I would have just acted on my own, but I'm technically his pokemon now, so I can't do that anymore.
I sighed silently and a dozen purple translucent chains shot forth. I had to use all my concentration to maneuver the chains into the path of each rock, and wrap them around it.
Suddenly, a meteor slipped from one of my chains, and it hit me dead on in the side. I flew backward towards Ash, kicking up dust and I landed.

I grimaced in pain. It didn't do much damage, but I wouldn't like to tank that again.
As I recovered, I heard steps behind me. Shoot. I should've paid more attention. The Tyrunt charged at me from behind, but I was too slow to respond.
"Use tackle!" I heard Grant shout. Tyrunt leaped toward me, his moves confident.
The pokemon phased through me, ruining it's face into one of pure shock. Ash yelled behind me.
"Use shadow claw, then hit it with those rocks!"
Rocks? What rocks-
Oh, the meteors. Could have been more clear, Ash.
I used shadow claw point blank and sent the pokemon flying into the ground, forming a small crater.
Without even thinking, I commanded my chains, which were still slightly wiggling in the air, to throw the projectiles at Tyrunt.
The meteors blew air past me, flicking my tail all over the place as they blazed past me. But just as they were about to hit, the Tyrunt jumped and over the rocks, landing a bit farther from me. The dust kicked up from the rocks clouded a border between us.
These guys are better than I thought.
"Use shadow ball and chain Tyrunt up!" Ash shouted.
Not knowing where to aim, I fired a couple dozen orbs through the smoke. Each made a small hole through the dust, momentarily letting me see through. My eyes darted around the battle field, without blinking. I caught a glimpse of a shadow through the cloud.
Gotcha.
I caged the entire area with chains, making sure Tyrunt didn't escape. The dust cleared away as a net of purple chains surrounded the pokemon.
It jumped up and it's tail glowed pink, before it smashed it against the top of the cage, whipping the chains up, leaving a gaping hole in the net. It casually jumped up and over the barrier.

As my move sank back into the ground, Tyrunt and I stood across from each other, flinching in anticipation.
I attempted to charge psychic to stun, but I realized I didn't have any energy left to do it. Ash drained my energy earlier by spamming those chains. I only have shadow claw and shadow ball.
I clinched my teeth. Screw it. I'm taking control now.
I rushed forward straight at the Tyrunt without warning. This predictably made him flinch a little, bringing it's jaw down on me. The attack went through me and I used shadow claw to send them flying again. I jumped at the pokemon, not leaving a single inch of leg room, and sliced them again with shadow claw, aimed downwards. The dinosaur pokemon was hurtled into the rocky battlefield within moments of my advance.
As I landed, Tyrunt came to it's feet, charging rock tomb. Several large rocks appeared above me as they crashed down like missiles. I was quick to dodge the first volley, but more boulders rolled past me. I jumped over a stone and rolled past a bigger rock, before jumping on two midair rocks, sending me above the Tyrunt.
I charged a shadow ball beneath me and let gravity do the rest. I fell directly on the terrified pokemon, knocking it down with my shadow ball. However, I poured my energy in the move to keep the ball intact without exploding. The ball constantly hit the Tyrunt deeper and deeper into the ground, forming a crater. So much dust was put in the air that I couldn't see the pokemon anymore, but I heard the painful yelps it emitted as my move pummeled it over and over.
At first, I thought it was enough. But when I considered stopping the attack, my mind seemed to revolt. I just couldn't bring myself to stop.
The sounds of pain from the pokemon made me... happy. It brought me joy to hear it.
Wait, what am I thinking? I shouldn't be hurting anything this much!
I jumped from the spot and landed just past the crater. The Tyrunt was long fainted, scratched and bruises covered it's whole body.
The dust cleared around me, exposing the scene. The trainers were speechless.
"T-Tyrunt it unable to battle!" The referee shouted. "The winner is the challenger Ash Ketchum!"
Pikachu bounded from Ash's shoulder, pacing towards me.
"That was overkill." He stated. "Like, way too much."
I scoffed.
"I get they're your opponent, but you don't need to break their bones."
Ash walked up to us, smiling.
"Great job, Ghasteon!" He congratulated. He pet me on the top of my crown before he returned me to a pokeball.
I mentally closed my eyes. I just wanted to be alone.
