ASH POV DURING BATTLE
Ash heard a thud in the battle arena. He turned around suddenly, but soon relaxed, thinking it was the pokemon fooling around. He continued going through his blue bag, until he pulled out a few boxes, packed with food.
"Got it." he said to himself. The pokemon would have a feast.
Suddenly, he heard another, stronger thud. It shook the ground and some lights fell from the ceiling. Then it clicked. This was serious.
Ash dropped the food regretfully and sprinted down the hall to the arena. He would not let Ghasteon get abducted again. The building had a weird design, even to Ash. Which made it all th much harder to navigate.
Ash spent much more time than he liked searching for the door to the arena. He found it, but it was blocked by fallen rocks and debris. He cursed under his breath and started searching and walls, trying the find another way in.
The Ash had an idea. The floodgates. He could get into the higher seats and jump down to his pokemon.
Ash rushed down the bland hall way and ran up the steep stairs. He almost tripped, but made it up safely as he heard another large explosion in the arena.
'darn it, I'm taking too long!' he thought.
He sprinted up the remaining stairs and looked around. The floodgates were pretty easy to find. But by the time he exited and looked down upon the ruined battlefield, it was too late. He saw Ghasteon and Pikachu being hauled up to the team rocket balloon.
"Curse you!" Ash shouted. But his voice only landed on deaf ears.
TIMESKIP
Ash ran down the street to their hotel. He guessed somebody was still in the room. He needed help, he had no pokemon on him and no back up.

He burst into the room and looked around. Bonnie jumped from the table.
"What was that for!" she half-yelled.
"It's team rocket!" Ash panted. Bonnie's eyes widened. "They got Pikachu and Ghasteon!"
Bonnie clinched her teeth. Ash ran to his room and found his other pokemon. He stuffed them in his pocket.
"Out of all the times Climont and Serena aren't here!" she yelled. She quickly got her shoes on and yanked Ash out the door.
"Cmon! We can't waste anytime!"
GHASTEON POV
I woke in a dark room. I was lying uncomfortably on some metal bars. I attempted to stand, but hit my head on something. My eyes adjusted and I saw the cage I was trapped in.
"Now, now." A man's voice said in the darkness. I hissed as I looked to it. A monitor blinked on behind the figure. He had a black suit on, with clean and smooth hair. A Persain lay on his lap. Beside him stood the grey haired man in the trenchcoat. "Akuma here just patched you up. We wouldn't want you hurt, would we?"
So that's his name. Curse him.
"Where are my manners?" the man in the suit said. "My name is Giovanni. The leader of team rocket. I must say, you were quite the catch. It took our best project to find you."
I looked behind me to see Geareon, sitting on guard. I clinched my teeth in anger. Giovanni clapped his hands twice. I saw the darkness shuffle, until a black and grey Hypno emerged.
How the heck did they get this? What did they even do? It had a red crystal in between it's lifeless, white, glowing eyes, and it seemed to laugh as it swung it's black pendulum. I looked away, but I still felt I was getting sleepy. How is the Hypno doing this?

Suddenly, I felt myself being dragged away from my head. I saw through my eyes, but I wasn't in control. My body moved itself.
"Good, good." Giovanni chuckled. What did that guy do to me? "We did some negotiating with other teams and got out hands on pokemon genetic editing machines, and created pokemon with powers beyond your dreams. Now, you will be a part of our mission."
I involuntarily stand as the cage around me falls apart. I try to run, but it was no use. Giovanni laughed as my body moved itself elsewhere, and into the darkness.
