《The Ninth Eeveelution》Death of an Eevee

I ran through the forest, soaking wet from the pouring rain. Thunder clapped behind me and the tree leaves hung down above me. I felt tired and heavy, but if I stayed out here, I'd be finished.

The moon illuminated a dark, rotting house just up ahead in the path. An angel's light through the dark clouds. Quickly, I sprinted to the shelter and ran through the door frame. It was colder in here than outside. It was dry, but still seemed moist and creepy.

Still, I didn't complain. An Eevee will take what they can get.

I slowly walked past the door and into a corner by the grand staircase. I laid down on my belly on beside the post. I stared into the doorway, the rocking trees and the rain. Is was somewhat mesmerising.

My gaze was cut off when a shape blocked the light. I jumped to my feet in fear. The thing swung it's fist and knocked me back into the wall. I landed against the wooden wall. My leg was at a weird angle and it hurt way more than anything I have ever felt in my life.

My attacker drew closer. I couldn't run. I backed further into the wall in desperation. But the creature stung it's fist at my small, fury head. It felt wet as blood crept into my right eye. I had only one eye to stare as my vision slowly blackened. I saw the thing disappear before my world went blank.
