"A dance huh?" Law mutters, raising an eyebrow.
"Nope," You huff, opening the closet.
"What are you doing?" He asks you start to move your blankets and pillows onto the closet floor.
"I'm gonna be hiding in the closet to avoid awkward situations since I'm not going to the dance," You respond. He blinks at your back as you add more blankets before testing the softness.
"You're not?" He asks.
"Nope," You answer, before setting down on the makeshift bed. "Peace," You add before closing the door. Law frowns at the door. You were obviously against it for some reason, but he wasn't going to pry.
"Are you-" A knock on the other door cuts him off. "Yes?" He asks. Kid pops his head in and they both frown at eachother. "If it's about the dance she refuses to speak of it," Law informs him. Kid's frown deepens.
"Alright... Where is she?" He asks. Law looks toward the closet.
"I believe she intends to stay in there until the dance is over," Law sighs. Kid comes in and closes the door before locking it.
"I locked the door ___, you can come out." Kid tells you.
"Nope! I'm staying in here! Bad things don't happen in locked closets!" You say stubbornly. They sweatdrop.
"Who the hell told you that?" Kid huffs.
"I know that's not true! But on this end it is!!... I have my bat," You inform him. He blinks and frowns with Law.
"___, what's wrong?" Kid asks. There's a pause.
"Nothing..." You huff grumpily. The two exchange a look before going and sitting in front of the door.
"___," Law murmurs.
"N-nothing's wrong, I just don't want to be hassled about some stupid dance," You grumble, turning away from the door.

"Then we won't bring it up, will you come out?" Kid asks.
"No," You answer stubbornly. They look at eachother.
"Why not?" Law inquires. You go silent for a bit.
"It's nothing..." You murmur. Kid shifts, and Law frowns.
"Did you see that bruise on Sabo's neck?" Kid says randomly, trying to cheer you up somehow. Law chuckles.
"Yes, apparently ___ is responsible for it," Law informs him. Kid looks at him in surprise, rubbing his neck.
"Ouch, did he piss you off or something?" He questions.
"N-no! I... We.... We were sparring! I didn't mean to kick him that hard..." You gasp.
"She still doesn't know how strong she is," Law comments.
"I'm not strong!" You object.
"Who told you that one?" Kid huffs. You shift, these two made quite the team.
"S-stop ganging up on me!" You tell them. They chuckle at that.
"Then come out," Law says.
"Never!" You declare. They sweatdrop at that.
"But they're serving your favorite pie," Kid tells you. You pause.
"No more pie! I'm getting chubby!" You grumble.
"No you're not!" They object in unison.
"Still not coming out," You scoff. Before either of them can say anything, there's a knock on the door. Law sighs and goes to see who it is. He opens the door to find Sabo.
"___ isn't here Sabo-ya," He lies easily. The blond frowns a bit.
"Well where is she? I thought she'd like to spar again..." He says.
"She's... I don't know..." Law tells him.
"Don't lie to him," Kid scolds. Law gives him a look before sighing, feeling Sabo's questioning gaze.
"She has locked herself in the closet and refuses to come out," Law informs him.

"Really? Why?" Luffy asks, coming in through the hole behind the mirror, followed by Zoro.
"Can't you guys enter the room like normal people?" Kid questions.
"No," They answer. Luffy sits in front of the closet while Zoro looks to Law for answers.
"I honestly don't know," Law tells Zoro and Sabo.
"___! Come out and party with us!" Luffy says, getting down and trying to peer into the dark closet. "It's so dark in there!" He grumbles, reaching a rubbery arm through the break between the door and floor. You jump, feeling his hand graze over your bum. You squeak and turn around, grabbing the hand.
"Luffy!? I don't want to!" You tell him as his hand holds on to yours.
"Why not?" He asks and you could just hear the pout in his voice.
"Because I hate dances... They... They make me remember things...." You admit, bringing his hand to your cheek. Luffy blinks, brushing his fingers over your cheek. The other guys frown at the closet door a bit sadly. They knew who it was you were referring to. Law had mad the mistake of asking about your ex fiance, and you withdrew to a place where he couldn't find you.
"Then... We'll make you new memories to cover up the bad ones!" Luffy declares, blindly cupping your cheek, running his thumb over it. You smile a bit.
"Thanks Luffy, but I'm still not coming out," You tell him.
"Damn!" He sighs.
~The Day Of~
You were still in the closet, (occasionally snuck out for potty breaks and showers). They guys were all in your room socializing since none of them didn't intend to leave you in the closet alone during the party. The door to your room suddenly flings open and all the guys pause in surprise at sight of Ms. Hancock. Nami and Vivi swiftly go to the closet and unlock it.
"Eh? What the hell?" You huff when the closet door is suddenly ripped open. Nami and Vivi give you mischievous grins before dragging you out. "H-Hey! Let me go! Guys help!" You gasp, struggling as the two drag you out.
"Sorry, we don't fight girls," Law says.
"Dammit! Let me go! What's the meaning of this!?" You demand.
"Silence! Behave like a lady! You are going to that dance whether you like it or not!" Ms. Hancock scolds following as you're dragged down the hall.
"And who the hell are you!?"

A Castle in a Teacup
One might say that to anger forces beyond the ken of fragile breakable mortals is a bad idea, others might say that meddling in dark forces with little chance of gain is also a bad idea, they would both be right by on all counts but they forget to mention also how incredibly stupid combining both of those things are. Stupid people don’t last so long on the mystic side of things, normal folks who wander over to the other side have a tendency to do one of two things, either A. figure out that the best thing to do is keep their head down and not draw attention from any entity that refers to humanity as “you mortals” , or B. something horrifying happens to them. As you may have guessed I fell into the second category, mostly because I thought there was a third option. See I though there must be an option C, an option where I got to end up not as some shitty back ally wizard cowering at the chance of discovery, praying that one of my wards or spells wouldn’t be noticed by something that goes bump in the night. No I would be the one who rose above all that. I would never have to be afraid. Well I made a good attempt at it that’s for damn sure, but unfortunately for me it turns out there is not an option C. At least not for me…

Looking forward to any constructive criticism, however, i already have in mind, the entire plot and tone of the story, any revisions based on feedback will likely only be considered upon completion. As of now starting out, i haven't really settled on a timeline for regular updates But I aiming for at least two chapters a week at about 2000 words each. I will promise at least one chapter of that size at least once a week, until completion. I'm rather determined to put this story on paper ( or web page i guess).
