"Awww! But boss!" Gin protests.
"No Gin, I just got off the phone with your boss, you need to go back to work," You say, holding up his phone. He gaps at it.
".... Dammit..." He sighs, taking his phone. You pat his head.
"Thanks for all your help... Now go home," You add, folding your arms. He pouts at you. "No Gin," You huff, closing your eyes.
"I'm going to miss you boss!" He says, hugging you tightly. You groan and hug him back.
"I'm gonna miss you too," You tell him. He lets you go after a bit and heads out with his head hung. You turn away from the door. "Not gonna feel guilty..." You tell yourself. Law peers at your face and you glance at him. "I'm not..." You grumble, shifting a bit.
"___," He murmurs, touching your arm. You look back at Law and pout. He blinks and smirks before pulling you into a hug. "Okay, okay, don't get pouty." He rumbles. You relax and smile.
"Alright! I'm bored..." You say, poking his stomach. He chuckles, and catches your hands.
"What would you like to do?" He asks. You purse your lips, eyes narrowing slightly.
"Let's go to combat training!" You chime, swinging his hands about with his.
"Oh, that sounds interesting, let's go." He rumbles with a smirk.
"Ah, ___, I wasn't expecting you to show up today," Dragon comments as you go toward him alongside the training grounds with Law close behind.
"I got bored," You reply, glancing around at the fighters until a blond catches your eyes. "Look Law, there's Sabo!" You chime with a point. Sabo was facing off with another student, easily dodging attacks before making powerful hits with a slightly sadistic smile. You drop your hand and perk up a bit. "Wow, he's really into it," You murmur with a slight blush. Law raises a brow at your tone.
"___-"
"Would you like to participate today? A spot against Sabo has just opened up," Dragon asks Law. You blink as Sabo looks over and spots you, instantly reverting to his usual self as he swiftly comes over.

"___! Finally came to check out the class huh?" He muses, breathing easily, his muscular torso glistens from sweat, muscles still pulsing with adrenaline. You blush more as you simply shake your head, trying so hard not to check him out. Law frowns, noticing this.
"Hey Sabo-ya, how about you and I spar?" Law asks, surprising you and Sabo.
"Law, I don't think that's a good idea..." You tell him. He blinks and frowns at you.
"Why not?" He huffs. You glance over at Sabo, who was smiling a bit, obviously liking the idea of facing off with Law. His stature and confidence made you shift.
"Well... Because..." You trail off, not really wanting to say it. Law frowns more.
"Say it," He requests. You gulp and look into his eyes.
"He's... Stronger than you..." You finally say. They both pause and Sabo grins with a blush.
"You think so?" He says sheepishly. Earning a glare from Law. The raven haired guy looks back at you with a frown.
"We'll see about that." Law rumbles, taking off his shirt.
"Law..." Too late him and Sabo were already heading onto the training field.
"You tried to warn him," Dragon comments. You shake your head.
"Macho..." You grumble.
"Alright, then I'll train you in the mean time," He tells you, turning to you.
"Sounds good," You reply, turning to him and taking off your jacket. He beckons you with a nod and you lunge forward to strike him.
"Opening," He comments, and strikes you in the stomach you grit your teeth and swing your right arm. He catches it. You blink and suddenly headbutt him, making him release you and stagger back. "Good attack, but that is a double edged sword ___," He says, poking your now sore forehead. "I'll teach you more profitable techniques in such-" Law crashes into him and he goes down with the teen. You blink in surprise as Law gets to hiss feet, staggering a bit as he glares in annoyance at Sabo who frowns back, seeming perfectly fine as he folds his arms. The tension in the air was noticeable.

"Alright that's enough," You decide covering Law's eyes. He pauses and relaxes. "Go take a shower you're all dirty now," You tell Law, removing your hand. He looks at you and straightens, not looking to happy about this conclusion. You shift, "Hey macho, don't pout," You tell him, poking his cheek and offering a smile. "Hand to hand just isn't your thing," You point out. He blinks and smirks before kissing your temple. You pause and blush.
"Right, see you at the room," He says before retrieving his shirt and leaving. You rub your neck as you watch him go, taking in his gang's symbol on his back.
"Anyway, are you okay Mr. Dragon?" You ask as he dusts himself off.
"I'm fine, luckily for your friend and me, Sabo was holding back," He comments. You lift an eyebrow at that.
"That was holding back?" You huff, impressed. He nods as Sabo comes back over to you.
"Sabo, you spar with ___ so I can evaluate her fighting style," Dragon instructs. You and Sabo share a look.
"Do we have to?" You both ask.
"Yes, and no holding back. I won't be able to help you improve if I don't know what you're capable of," Dragon tells you. You take a deep breath.
"Okay," You tell him as you and Sabo head out. You face eachother hesitantly. "Don't hold back too much Sabo," You request. He frowns briefly before getting ready.
"No promises," He replies. You swallow, feeling nervous.
"Begin," Dragon states.
Sabo lunges, knowing you wouldn't make the first move. You dodge his arm swiftly, catching his wrist and spinning to give his ribs a jab with your elbow. He grunts and grabs your wrist before flipping you. You catch the ground with your free hand and swing your leg, hitting Sabo in the neck and sending him tumbling. You swiftly get back to your feet, vaguely surprised that you managed that.
"Sorry!" You huff. He chuckles as he gets up, raising an eyebrow at you.
"You are one hell of an opponent," He comments, rubbing where you hit.
"Nicely done, but it appears that teaching you is gonna be a challenge," Dragon comments. You rub your neck sheepishly.
"That bad huh?" You muse.
"No, you're quite good, but you're movements are all based on instinct, so your fighting style is chaotic and unpredictable. You have no concern about the openings you give your opponent which may kill you," He informs you. You frown a bit. It was true, half the time you don't even think, it just came naturally.
"Don't worry, I'll help you too," Sabo says cheerfully. You look at him and frown.
"I'm so sorry Sabo," You gasp, touching his already bruising neck.
"Ouch," He huffs, catching your hand.
"Sorry..." You murmur. He blinks and offers a smile.
"It's fine, you just surprised me is all," He assures. You blink up at him and relax a bit. Dragon clears his throat, making you both look over.
"We will continue this tomorrow, so you two may go," He says, smirking briefly. You blink before looking at Sabo and pausing, becoming aware of his bare torso again. You blush again and pull away.
"R-Right, thanks Mr. Dragon, see you tomorrow," You tell him as you go and pick up your jacket.
"See you." He rumbles as you dust off your jacket. Sabo steps to your side.
"May I walk you to your room?" He inquires.
"Ah, sure Sabo... You don't have to ask," You tell him.
"I prefer to ask then just kidnapping you like Ace," He replies. You chuckle a bit.
"Well aren't you sweet?" You chuckle. You both cross the courtyard to building C when it started raining flyers. You pause and Sabo catches one. You lean on his arm to read it.
"A school dance? That's a bit random, I wonder what the occasion is..." Sabo murmurs. You groan.
"Shit..." You sigh. He blinks and looks over at you.
"What's wrong?" He asks. You give him a look.
"Nothing..." You lie, but you knew the next few days were gonna be a pain in the ass.

Giantslayer
Synopsis: Alain is a fledgling Giantslayer, enhanced individuals capable of killing deadly giants. But these giants are not big, they are what ancient humans would refer to as mundane animals or beasts. 'The Final Curse' as many humans call it, was a curse that shrunk down the entire human population to the size of small rodents. When the curse first occurred, the majority of the human population was eaten by beasts who are now of towering heights and sizes. But their abandoned gargantuan structures were not built for naught, the remaining humans retreated back into their now giant buildings and rebuild societies and nations inside of them. Follow Alain in his quest to right the wrongs done to his past and hunt down the elusive and mythical Elder Giants, giants capable of intellects and speech. Are they real? Alain certainly insists so despite no one believing him. But perhaps it did not matter, they were real enough to him for what they did to his family. A/N: I'm pretty new to writing creatively so I hope to improve as we move along the story. The prose I use is still fairly simple and 'plain', but I am also new to literature in general so I am hoping to improve my vocabulary as well. It should also come under no surprise that I am a non-native English speaker and writer as well. With that said, I do appreciate constructive feedback. Please don't be overly mean at least. All the chapters are rough drafts that will be edited in the future. The cover is by this user from pixiv: https://www.pixiv.net/en/users/4545042

That one fateful day, he showed up. The man in black. He who acted like this life was just another game. He appeared everywhere. Floating up in the sky. So naturally, but yet strangely eerie. He raised his hand and snapped then… Mutation. ... This is my first story that i've written, and with no education in story-writing, please don't expect anything of quality. I encourage you to give me feedback on my work. On that note, have fun reading! You can expect maybe 1 or 2 chapters per month because I'm really slow at writing. Chapter art courtesy of gej302
