*Third Floor*
Luckily a clothes basket sat at the end of the shoot. Unluckily, you were the first down so your group landed on you. "Ow..." You groan.
"You okay?" Killer asks, pulling you up from the bottom of the basket.
"Ouch..." You grumble.
"Sorry," They say.
"It's fine, lets get going," You say as Killer sets you out. You look around the laundry room before checking the time on your phone. "We're making good time..." You breathe.
"Yeah just three more floors to go down," Ace agrees. You nod and head for the door. They follow as you peer out.
"You know... I thought there would be more guards..." You comment before walking out.
"Maybe they're all at lunch?" Luffy says.
"At eleven o'clock at night?" Nami huffs.
"Good point... Maybe their night time security is lax?" Killer comments. You give a shrug, about to turn the corner but instead someone literally runs into you, making you both go tumbling. The tumbling stops and you're nose to nose with a blue haired man with a clown nose. You both blink in confusion.
"Who the hell are you?" You both ask.
"Buggy?" Luffy huffs in surprise. The man rolls off you and jabs a finger at Luffy.
"YOU!!?!" He gasps. You sit up and Ace helps you to your feet.
"You know eachother?" You ask.
"Ours gangs used to fight a lot," Luffy chuckles.
"They're all insane! He's the reason I'm here!" Buggy tells you. I blink and pat his shoulder.
"I know..." You whisper. You both tear up and hug eachother. "I'm so sorry!"
"Me too!" He whimpers. He suddenly lets you go, paling a bit. You are about to ask what's wrong when you feel a shadow come over your back. Buggy takes a step back and swiftly pushes you to the side as an axe takes off his arm. You let out a horrified gasp.

"H-Hey!" You gasp before swiftly turning and punching the large thing and sending it flying back. "Oh my god! Are you okay!?" You exclaim to Buggy, about remove your jacket when you realize his hand is still on your shoulder. "I'm so sorry! Your arm!!" You cry, hugging his detached arm. He blushes a bit.
"Um... Its okay-"
"Shishishi! Calm down ___! He can put it back on," Luffy laughs.
"You can!?" You breathe, looking at Buggy with wide hopeful eyes.
"Y-Yeah, just let go of my arm," He tells you.
"Oh! Sorry!" You gasp letting it go so it can drift to him and reattach. "Whoa! How..." You wonder taking his arm and looking at it in amazement.
"So uh... Who's the flashy cutie, Strawhat?" Buggy asks Luffy as you continue to check out his arm.
"That's ___!" Luffy chimes, snapping you out of your state of awe.
"Yep! Nice to meet you Buggy!" You greet, shaking his hand.
"Why are you guys here?" Buggy inquires.
"Saving our friends from being executed... What is that thing anyway?" You reply, pointing at the large gorilla looking thing.
"That's a night guard- and it's signaling the others..." He says, growing pale.
"Shit! Hurry! To the next entry point!" You tell the group.
"Right!" They say, running down the hall for the elevator. You and Buggy fall in step together.
"You're coming with us?" You ask.
"You plan to escape right? Lets team up," He says.
"Alright, sounds good..." You chime as everyone piles into the elevator. Luffy hits the lever but there is an odd clanking sound and the elevator suddenly jerks.
"That doesn't sound good-" Ace doesn't finish his sentence as the elevator suddenly falls and you cling to him.

"AAAAAHHHHH!!!"
*Second Floor*
"Is everyone okay?" Killer asks, sitting up. Ace pats his leg and points to you who is hugging his face for dear life. "I got her," Killer says, prying you off Ace only to have you cling onto him as Ace gasps for air.
"Besides Ace, I think we're all good," Nami comments as Luffy rubs your back.
"It's okay ___, we're not falling anymore," He says softly.
"Then can we please get out of the elevator?" You ask shakely.
"Got it," Drake says as he and Cavendish force the elevator doors open.
"Shit..." Ace mutters seeing that the elevator only stopped after nearly passing the second floor. A two foot gap at the top of the elevator to the second floor.
"Okay, ___ first," Killer says, standing up and lifting to the gap. You swiftly crawl out and turn around to help Ace up. You pull him up and turn to help up Buggy, grabbing his arm. The elevator jerks suddenly and then falls again, Ace yanks you back.
"Guys!!" You cry, in horror. Buggy's arm flails in your hands and you nearly throw it in surprise.
"___! Calm down! They'll be fine," Ace assures you, touching your shoulder. You hug Buggy's arm and jump to your feet.
"Right! Lets get to the next entry point!" You tell him, turning to the hall and pausing to find it full of guards. You and Ace exchange a look. "Back off! I have a man's arm and I will use it!" You threaten, pointing Buggy's arm at the guards.
"You're so crazy..." Ace chuckles.
"The school has gotten to me," You sigh.
"That's okay, I love that about you," He says, making you blush.
"Geez, you... Lets just get this done with," You tell him, focusing on the guards.
"Right, lets go," Ace rumbles, arms catching fire. "I got the right side," He tells you.
"Then left for me," You decide as you both boldly rush the guards. You use Buggy's your arm like a bat, smacking back the guards as Ace flares up and bursts the guards back. Soon the hall is clear and the both of you rush for the next entry point. You come across a stairwell and jump over the railing with Ace right beside you. You land carefully and exchange a look with Ace.
"Think they'll be on this floor?" Ace asks.
"I hope so, I think Buggy's arm is mad at me..." You comment, holding it up as it makes pissed off gestures.
"Well, you did use it as a weapon..."

Keys of the Endpoint
Keys of the Endpoint is an illustrated web serial about the re-birth of civilization in a fantastical world suffering from a recent apocalyptic event. Every day, people appear from the storms that ravage the Endpoint. Whisked away from their own time and place by storms in their homelands, these newcomers find themselves in a hostile place made up of ruins and people from every timeline imaginable. Stranger still, they all soon discover they're carrying silver keys that grant each holder incredible powers. On Earth, most people have mundane excuses for the disappearances, but not Isaac. Having lost his brother Finn to one of these storms, Isaac becomes obsessed with finding a pattern. Not to prevent more people disappearing, but rather to get taken by the storms himself in order to find his brother. While chasing Finn’s faint trail, Isaac soon discovers how little he really knew about himself, his brother and how much loss one person can take. In Keys of the Endpoint there's portal fantasy, personal drama, magic (useable by everyone), plenty of combat, power progression, mysteries, factions, feuds and eventually war (in that order). The magic system is well defined and modular with nigh infinite combinations. The story starts out with one of the two main characters looking for his lost brother but quickly expands in scope from that point on. Prime Magus of Earth
"In the beginning, I had no idea what was going on. My brother and friends were gone, my sight was gone, and yet I still saw things, things about this world that no one else knew. I'm not special, or gifted, anyone could have done what I did. I just got lucky, especially after everything that happened afterwards. Magic already existed, it always had. Humans just didn't know how to do it, didn't know how to nuture that small spark in them. Now you do." - Prime Magus of Earth, Alexander Sorin. November 2021 Update: So, it has been four years since I stopped working on this. Reading back, the first "book" is finished. It has what feels like an ending to an arc. Now it isn't a perfect story but I still like it and I can see myself starting the second book, might even this on Amazon or something. My biggest regret was never coming up with artwork for the cover though. Maybe I'll look into it.
