"What the hell are you doing here!?" You gasp. He blinks up at you and grins.

"What's with the cuddling? I thought you two were enemies," He chuckles. You and Kid pause and look at eachother before breaking apart with a blush. "No way! You got a thing for eachother!!" He laughs. Kid becomes more rigid at that and you scowl at Shanks.

"Answer the question red hair!" You say in annoyance. He pouts at your tone.

"Hey now.... Are you still mad about the whole trying to kidnap you and steal kisses thing?" He asks. You scowl and tap your foot, waiting for him to answer your question. "Anyway when I found out you were going on vacation instead of me, I snuck to the air strip and got on the jet before you two got there, and waited for your scream before running out past Doffy and jumping out... Apparently I didn't jump out right and got clipped by the jet tail which sent me off course..." He grumbles, rubbing his side. You and Kid sweatdrop.

"Well, have fun then," You say, exchanging a look with Kid as you both turn away. You didn't far though.

"No... Nonono! Dammit!" Shanks cursing makes you stop and look back to see him searching his pockets. He stops and looks at sheepishly. "I uh... Don't suppose you have money to spare. You look at Kid.

"No, the idiot did it to himself," He huffs.

"But Kid-"

"No,"

"Please Kid?" You murmur, grabbing his hand and looking at him pleading. He blushes, meeting your gaze hesitantly. He looks like he a was trying to stand firm but fails with a sigh.

"How much?" He mutters. You grin and hug his neck.

"Three hundred should do," You tell him. He blinks into your eyes and shifts.

"Lets go with four hundred to be safe," He murmurs taking out the five hundred dollar in his pocket that he had brought along incase you both got hungry. He hands you the four hundred and you smile, giving him a kiss on his cheek and making him blush more. He looks away with a 'tsk' and you giggle.

"Here Shanks, a limo will be coming to pick us up in LeapTown two days from now, so be there," You tell him. He looks at the money and tears up, suddenly leaping to his feet and hugging you tight, rubbing his cheek against yours.

"Thank you! You fantastic amazing little angel!!" He gushes, kissing your cheek repeatedly until Kid pushes his face away and pulls you into himself.

"Alright pal that's enough," He growls. Shanks blinks at him and chuckles.

"Sorry, didn't mean to piss off the boyfriend," He says backing up. You and Kidblush heavily.

"He's/I'm not my/her boyfriend!" You both say in unison. Shanks blinks in surprise and smirks.

"That's what you say now, but the beach has ways of igniting a romance," He rumbles making you and Kid blush even more.

"Shut up!" You both snap. Shanks laughs and walks off, waving a hand.

"See you in two days kiddos!" He calls.

"There's something wrong with that guy..." Kid grumbles.

"I believe it," You sigh, looking down and finding his arm around your waist. You blink and blush a bit again.

"You okay?" He asks, putting a knuckle to your cheek. You look up into his eyes. He pauses, blushing again before rubbing your cheek roughly.

"What are you doing?"

"I think he got spit on your cheek," He grunts.

"Noooo ewwwww...." You whine. He chuckles and picks you up bridal style and starting for the water.

"I know what will take that right out!" He rumbles.

"Kid dont-" Too late, he already tossed you in the water. "I am so kicking your ass!" You gasp, hopping up.

"Hey now, I was only helping," He chuckles, coming over. You pout at him before smirking and licking his cheek, making him freeze and blush heavily. "Wh-what the hell?" He manages.

"I know what will take that right out!" You mock before pushing him down into the water. Before you can move out of his range, he catches you wrist and pulls you back to him.

"Bleh!" He growls, sticking out his tongue and leaning toward you.

"No! Kid! Don't!" You giggle, leaning back. He laughs and licks your forehead. "Eww! Nooo!" You gasp, rubbing your forehead on his chest.

"Don't wipe it on me!" He laughs. You smirk up at him before falling back in the water and pulling him under with you. He swiftly pulls you back out. You were giggling, hands on his chest. He blinks down at you and smirks a bit. You look up into his eyes and you both pause. You can feel his rapid heartbeat under your hand. Something in the water a few feet away catches both your eyes. You slowly look over and tense.

"Is that a shark fin?!" You whisper to him. He pulls you closer to him starting to back up. A sudden movement and splash makes you squeak and hide your face in his chest. Kid relaxes and lets out a growl as someone starts laughing. You hesitantly look over to see a blond guy laughing heartily.

"Did you just squeak!? That's adorable! No wonder pop likes you!" He laughs.

"What are you doing here Dellinger?" Kid asks. The blond straightens up.

"Oh! I'm here to get one of the teachers that snuck off campus without permission," He responds cheerfully. You and Kid pause, dammit Shanks.

"I saw him, he went down the beach that way," You tell the blond, pointing the opposite way Shanks went.

"Wow! Thanks cutie! See you later!" He chimes before turning into a shark and swimming off. You and Kid get out of the water.

"You know that guy?" You ask.

"That's Doflamingo's son... You know that was the wrong way right?" He asks,"

"Shouldn't have scared me..." You grumble. He laughs at that.

"Come on, lets head to the hotel now," He chuckles.

Another seagull dives to retrieve a nut that Kid through the railing of the balcony. You both sat against the sliding glass door, snacking as you wait for the sun to set. Well, you were snacking, Kid was teasing the seagulls.

"Can I ask you something?" You ask.

"Hm?" He hums.

"How did we get here?" You inquire. Kid pauses and looks over at you oddly.

"We got thrown out a plane," He reminds you.

"No that's not I meant... I mean our relationship," You tell him. He blinks and looks down, eyes becoming unfocused briefly.

"You helped me out... Even after all the shit I did..." He says, looking back at you. "What? Do you want to go back to how it was?" He asks. You shake your head and give him a smile.

"I'm glad it turned out this way," You reply. He pauses in awe, cheeks flushing briefly. He looks away.

"Still think you're weird..." He mutters. You chuckle and lean over, kissing his cheek, making him blush even more.

"But you like it," You tease. He gives you a cute scowl and you giggle. You look toward the horizon and freeze as you both realize you're surrounded by seagulls.

"Get inside," He whispers, grabbing a handful of peanuts and tossing them before you both retreat into the room and shut the door.

"I told you not to tease them. Those things chased Gin down the beach for a hamburger before," You huff, before giggling at the bizarre memory. He shifts.

"Sorry..." He sighs. You blink and smirk.

"Don't pout Diva, I still like you," You tease. He scowls at you again.

"Shut up Slippers," He grumbles. You giggle and hug him.

"Such a cute tsuntsun!" You chime.

"What the hell did you just call me?" He questions.

"Tsuntsun! Whatcha gonna do about it?" You challenge. He picks you up and smirks deviously.

"I wonder if you're ticklish?" He growls tossing you on the bed. You pale and swiftly try to get away but he sits on you and tickles you.

"Noooo! K-Kid! Stooooop!" You giggle, squirming beneath him.

"You asked what I was gonna do about it!" He reminds you.

"I-I'm sorry! I take it back!" You laugh, trying to push his hands away.

"Give me one good reason," He hisses.

"B-because! Y-you...." You try to think of something quick. "You love me?" The tickling stops, his eyes wide and a blush plagues his face. You raise your eyebrow in surprise. What was with this reaction? He opens his mouth to say something but your phone cuts him off. You look toward your bag, feeling confused. Who's ringtone was Uptown Funk? You share a look with Kid and he lets you up. You go to your bag and fish out your phone.

"Hello?" You ask.

"Law?" You huff in surprise and sit down on the floor. Kid groans from the bed and you shush him.

'How's it going?' He asks.

"It's going great, Kid just pissed off some seagulls though," You reply, pointing toward the sliding glass door. Kid looks over to see an army of seagulls staring in. He swiftly gets up and goes to the door.

"Go away you creeps," He growls, closing the curtain and making you giggle.

'Oh... Has he tried anything?' Law asks carefully. Some noise in the background catches your ear like a muffled cry for help.

"No, he's quite the gentleman actually," You comment, earning a look and blush from Kid. "Is everything okay over there? Sounds like someone's in trouble," You add. There's a pause and you hear a muffled cry.

'Hm? Oh, that's just a T.V that Luffy and Zoro stole from the teacher's lunge. Nothing to be concerned with," He replies calmly. Something in his tone made you oddly uneasy.

"Okay... So... What's up?" You ask.

'Nothing much, just calling to check on yo-'

'HELP! HE'S GOING TO-' muffled noise again.

'Luffy please turn down the volume, I'm on the phone,' He growls. There's a whimper in response. 'Thank you... Any way, I'm glad you're okay. I miss you...' He breathes.

"Law are you okay?" You ask worriedly. There's another pause.

'I'm fine,' He grunts and hangs up. You blink lower from your ear to look at it with a frown.

"You okay?" Kid asks.

"I don't know... Law doesn't leave off the -ya in someone's name like that...." You murmur.

"Maybe he doesn't do it on the phone? I'm sure everything's fine," Kid assures, sensing your uneasiness.

"Yeah..."
