#Law's Flashback Continued#
Sabo had paled slightly at the other male's words, but he understood his feelings. Within a day you had swept in and made just about everyone he knew your ally, and Law was no exception. "How are we going to find her?" Sabo asks, trying to get Law to focus.
"You won't," A voice comments ahead. They both freeze and look at Kaku.
"What does that mean?" Law inquires. Kaku glances around with a slight frown.
"Her and the other guy... They plan execute them after they 'clean' up here," He informs Law and Sabo. Law felt his blood run cold and Sabo lets out a slight gasp.
"Explain. Now." Law growls, unsheathing his scalpel, turning it in his fingers dangerously. Sabo touches his shoulder in an attempt to calm him.
"You said they, why not we?" Sabo asks. Kaku frowns, looking uneasy.
"What's about to happen here... I didn't sign up for this." Kaku replies.
"What's about to happen?" Sabo inquires, feeling a chill.
"A purge," Another voice draws their gaze to a disciplinary in a top hat. Kaku pales slightly.
"Lucci I-" Lucci's arm shoots out at him but retreats as cut appears on his arm. He looks toward Law who glared at him wildly.
"Don't ignore me," He growls. Lucci blinks coolly at him. "Where's the girl?"
"Does it matter? All of you criminals will be disposed of soon," He answers. He looks toward Kaku. "Have fun with your new allies," He adds before turning to walk away. The scalpel in Law's hand glints and he lunges at Lucci. Lucci leans out of the way his chest is still slashed. Lucci swiftly swings at him and he swiftly stops it with his arm.
"It matters a whole fucking lot," Law growls, arm pulling back to stab him, scalpel glinting. Lucci eyes widen, changing a bit. He growls deeply, arm flashing out Law leaned out of the way of the claws, slashing up his shirt and his chest. Law grunts in pain, jumping back and slashing out with his scalpel. A cut appears on Lucci's shoulder. Lucci frowns at the cut, becoming aware of the situation he was in.

"The countdown begins in one hour, you will then have twelve hours to find and rescue your friend... Or you could use those twelve hours trying to escape, your choice," He rumbles before vanishing. Kaku staggers.
"Shit," He breathes. Law turns on him, scalpel pointed at him.
"If you know where she is..." Law growls menacingly.
"I don't. Really... But she's still on campus, somewhere," Kaku tells him, holding up his hands. Law lowers his scalpel and slides it back into its holster with his other medical tools.
"Sabo-ya, let's go back to the room and tell everyone," He says, icy calm again.
"Hold on... I've heard of that strength... And that weapon of choice.... What's someone like you doing here? Surgeon of Death?" Sabo asks warily. Law freezes, fingers gliding over his scalpel handle, eyes narrowing dangerously.
"Right now I'm looking for my friend, are you gonna help me or not?" Law replies. Sabo shifts uneasily.
"Of course. Lets go," He replies. With that they both start for building C again.
"What!?" Ace gasps. Zoro and Luffy tense, looking pissed. Sabo nods with a frown.
"We now have twelve and a half hours to find them... We need more help," Sabo says.
"Isn't that breaking the second rule? Wouldn't the admin step in then?" Usopp asks. Before anyone could respond there's a knock on the door.
"___, I heard what happened last night and..." Smoker trails off to glare at the room of guys.
"___ isn't here Smoker-ya," Law informs him. "The disciplinary committee has kidnapped her."
"What!?" Smoker demands.
"They plan to execute her in twelve hours unless we find her before then," Law carries on, dead calm. Smoker pales and is back out the door in a second. "The administration has been alerted, now lets discuss the search-"

'~Motha fucker I'm awesome!~ No you're not dude! Don't lie!~' The odd ring tone sounds from your jacket on the dresser. Law blinks, he had heard it before. Your friend was calling. Luffy takes the phone out and answers it.
"Hello?... My name's Luffy!.... Oh, she's been kidnapped.... Yeah and she's going to executed in twelve hours they said.... Wai- hello?.... Helloooo?" Luffy looks at the phone before putting it back with a shrug. Law smirks a bit, seemed like reinforcements were coming now.
"Alright, back to what I was saying..." With that Law begins to tell them his plan.
One hour later came the chaos. Screams sound in the halls, fights broke out all over, some strangers dove into your room for shelter. Law stands up, adjusting his jacket. "Seems like the clock has started." Sabo comments.
"Then no more wasting time here," Law says with a frown.
"You really love her huh?" Ace comments. Law folds his arms.
"Yes... But if any of you say anything-"
"Don't worry, we won't," Ace chuckles.
"Then lets go." Law tells them, heading out. The search wasn't going well. No one seemed to know where you were. Fruitless. Law was becoming antsy when they came near the cafeteria. Chairs and some tables were scattered about by the fights. Spandam was looming over a student, mocking them. Law stops, Sabo and Ace flank him. Law looks down at a chair, a thoughtful smirk playing on his lips before stooping and picking up the chair and throwing it at him. Spandam goes down and the student swiftly runs away.
"Did you just pull a ___?" Ace asks. Law can't help but smile.
"Seemed like something she'd do.... Felt good too," Law admits, starting for Spandam. Before he could reach the bastard responsible for your kidnapping, a shape flies at him. Law swiftly switches places with a chair, glaring at the leopard human hybrid.
"Get the little bastard Lucci!" Spandam shrieks.
"Sabo-ya, grab him, I got the leopard," Law says, not looking away from the creature before him.
"On it," Sabo says, starting around him but is attacked by another student while Ace struggles with another one. The leopard's ears go back.
"It won't work, you won't find her... And she will perish," He rumbles, claws glinting.
"Not in my lifetime," Law mutters, unsheathing his scalpel. They lunge at eachother, slashing and dodging eachother's attacks. Lucci suddenly turns, stomping Law in the stomach, sending him through a wall.
Damn this hurt. Why was he doing this for someone he had just met a week ago? Oh man, it's only been a week? This school really was mad. Law sits up painfully, eyes glaring at the leopard man as he approached. Your smile comes to mind and he softens slightly. Of course it was for someone like you.
"You seem pretty determined to save her, could it be some infatuation you have toward her?" He rumbles. Law gets up, staggering.
"It's called being in love.... You spotted sheep," He huffs, briefly wondering if you would've called him that. "She probably would... ROOM."

Maybe with a bit of luck and planning, he can build a force to defend the world without anyone realizing it. Author's Thoughts: What is litRPG (From wikipedia) - LitRPG, short for Literary Role Playing Game, is a literary genre combining the conventions of MMORPGs with science-fiction fantasy novels.[1] LitRPG is a literary genre where games or game-like challenges form an essential part of the story. A LitRPG work simultaneously narrates the story of characters inside and outside of the game-world. At least some of the characters in a LitRPG novel therefore understand that they are playing a game: they are 'meta-aware'. So, while Tolkien's Lord of the Rings is a fantasy novel, a book about people creating avatars and interacting in a Lord of the Rings MMORPG would be a LitRPG novel. Why do I read them? You know, I am not too sure. I love MMOs. I played them, quit them, joined up and repeated the cycle. They are fun! They are a massive waste of time but so are most games. Do I want to read about someone else playing them? Sort of?The advent of VR and the possibility of VR someday becoming so immersive that you can't tell them from reality sets the imagination on fire. What if this could be life? But most stories fall short. At the end of the day the protagonist hangs up his VR helmet and goes to have dinner with his mom and dad or other family and it becomes meaningless. It's like the story that ends because the main character woke up and nothing you read matters. There have been some books that explore the concept of the intersection of reality and total immersion VR. Enders Game is a classic. There were a few others that escape me but they exist, however, the cross between the game and reality is weak.So what if the game was real? The technology needed for total immersion VR is so advanced that by the time we reach that goal technology should have naturally evolved to include several items. You must have direct neural input. You simply can't have a total immersion (all senses and perfect presence) experience without this basic prerequisite. If you have direct neural access, you can probably do neat things like feed knowledge and skills directly to that person. You can undoubtedly do many horrible things as well. Muscles are controlled by the brain. If you control the brain why would you let the body just sit there and rot? A person that sits unmoving for 24 hours a day will have their body whither away just like a coma patient. However, if you control the brain you could control the muscles. On a basic level, this would be isometric impulses, working muscle group against muscle group to avoid atrophy. Taken to its logical conclusion you would be able to gain muscle mass and program muscle memory. The flip side is that you could remote control their body... but let's not go there. So what would people do if it were real? Well, they would probably limit and regulate it since the drawbacks are very obvious. Even if you look at the basic aspects of this you can see some negative possibilities. Look at the Sword Art Online anime. Personally, I think they missed the boat by putting a bomb in the VR helmet. Do you really need a bomb when you have direct access to the brain? So what kind of events would you need to have a situation where the obvious drawbacks haven't been explored? Maybe a society where the advancement of technology has so far outstripped the explorations of its applications that ignorance was truly bliss? Okay, so I had to put in an alien invasion to kickstart the premise, but that was just one of the possibilities.
